The upstairs party area is a great setup that is open to the rest of the gym so you can keep an eye on all the action. One of the best parts of the party was the two birthday party specialists. I didn't get their names, but they were absolutely fantastic with the kids. They gave clear instructions, were incredibly patient, and encouraged every climber as they made their way to the top. Everyone had a great time, highly recommend!!

Finally, a climbing gym in Binghamton! No more do we have to drive an hour plus for indoor…read moreclimbing. As far as the climbing goes, they have that down. Lots of variety (bouldering, top rope, and lead), easy certification process, and good options for a solo climber (e.g., plenty of autobelays). They also have a great shop for gear, more comprehensive than most other climbing gyms I've been to in the region. So you can get everything you need right here. As far as other amenities, they have a chill area with plenty of seating that includes a water dispenser, coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge. They do have bathrooms and showers but they don't have a full locker room situation. They only have cubbies near the climbing walls. As far as gym equipment, they do have some, and it might be enough for what you're looking for. But they don't have a full gym's worth of equipment. So before you abandon your regular gym membership, consider taking at look at the equipment they have available and determine if that's adequate for your training. They just opened earlier in January and are still setting up. So things like climbing instruction or yoga classes aren't available yet for the foreseeable future, especially because they are still in the process of hiring all of those staff. So it should be coming soon (?), but it's unclear when. They will also have recreational leagues for children and adults but, again, not yet available. The gym is off to a good start and honestly, I'm glad they're finally open even if not all the peripheral amenities are fully ready to go just yet. If you want to climb, you can definitely do that here right now, and that's huge for this area. Just wanted to share this review and be transparent about what is actually available right now (and I can update later on when full amenities are available). Happy climbing!

Okay, cool. Are you only a seller? Or a tech as well? Two services I paid for were not done right. Thanks. But no thanks. You're not the only shop. And probably don't state that you're butt hurt because someone had to save money and buy elsewhere. You're just ensuring a customer doesn't return and definitely won't refer your shop to anyone.

Nice evening for my mini picnic. There has always been something about small towns for me , the friendliness of the locals, and this park fit that description. The park was small, clean, with benches, picnic tables and a small little gazebo. As I arrived, there were people gathered near the gazebo, looked like from a local church, a choir practice; thanks to them, the difficulty of eating dinner without my mom, and the music provided a great comfort, for a happy/sad day for me. If you find yourself not wanting to eat in a resturant, always check on YELP or google for a local park, as one never knows the serenity youll find in a small town park.

They truly get to spend time doing the things that they love with teachers who specialize in the many arts offered by the camp. They have the encouragement they need from their peers and the independence to try everything that is offered. Their closest friends, who they bond with and stay connected to throughout the year have become a support system. During the pandemic, they truly leaned on each other because Ballibay friends have become family. It's a place where everyone is accepted and safe and because of this safe space they are free to really find themselves on their journey of life. It's a magical place where creativity is flowing and process are celebrated.

Finding Ballibay for my kids was a godsend. All three of them exhibited a passion for the arts (and…read morecontinue to do so) but finding summer activities that they loved proved difficult where we live. In addition, it was not easy to find programs comprised of kids who were similar to our own. Here, in suburban Philadelphia, they always felt a tad out of place. Yes, there are theater day camps, and dance intensives, and rock performance music programs, but it was impossible to find a place that offered it all and that attracted kids similar to ours. We began our search for sleep away camps focused on the performing arts, but much of what we found seemed to stress only talent, and after talking to others who had sent their kids to these performing arts camps, they were simply too competitive. We wanted our kids to have fun and to focus on the creative process...not just on the final product, and to try different things that perhaps they weren't skilled at or had never tried. We wanted them to experience the antithesis of what they get from their public education during the academic year. Ballibay offered exactly this and we couldn't have been more thrilled. It was like finding a hidden gem...and we were in on one of the best kept secrets. Ballibay is smaller than all of the other performing arts camps I'd researched...allowing the kids to develop strong relationships with other kids, but also with the high-caliber instructors and counselors. Of our three kids, two went for 3 summers, and one will be going again this year--his 4th. The older ones are off to college next fall, and the youngest couldn't imagine summer without Ballibay. Camp Ballibay has become a second family and summer home. The friendships my kids made there are strong and I'm confident that they will be long-lasting. However, Ballibay does not only offer wonderful instruction and experiences in the arts. Ballibay offers a safe space to try new things in a gorgeous country setting in northeast Pennsylvania, but it also provides kids the opportunity to unplug from the constant barrage of social media and video games, breathe in the fresh air, and eat delicious food, much of which is grown right there! We cannot recommend the opportunity for any creative-driven child to experience this home away from home enough! Once they do, they'll be hooked! The only down side of Ballibay is having to leave when the session is over.
