I visited caspian early on a Friday morning. There were 2 or 3 couples seated inside the small restaurant at the time. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was great. The gentleman that took my order was attentive and efficient. I ordered the oatmeal and 2 eggs over hard. Everything came out hot in about 5-7 minutes. Loved the oatmeal paired with small chunks of red apples, raisins and walnuts. The eggs were cooked perfectly! This was the perfect breakfast for me while I was in providence for work. Friendly service, quick and tasty breakfast for under $20.

A sweet little breakfast place in Providence! We were visiting all the way from California and decided to check this place out. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes that came with it were also seasoned well. My husband got a build your omelette and was able to find good choices to pick from. He also had a side of toast and potatoes. We also ordered orange juice and were pleasantly surprised to see that they squeeze it fresh! The workers were very friendly and the restaurant itself is quaint.

Sorta high prices for a place that looks nice but isn't super. I ordered a burger with only red onion and they added mayo (which was not listed on the menu). I asked for one without and they were upset that I hadn't clarified before ordering. even though it wasn't on the menu. They never came back to refill waters despite giving us so little to start with. The food was fine but service wasn't great. It was slow and they never came back

Gorgeous, outdoor patio, tight space inside, but very welcoming, tiny bathroom, but well, equipped, super people, delicious food and a lovely vibe. Lucky I checked yelp.

I was walking past a bunch of the places on Wickeden Street and saw the caspian as I was walking past. There are a bunch of other restaurants around but the vibes of Caspian were incredible. no fuss hole in the wall breakfast spot with lots of good options. the hostess was incredibly efficient attentive and kind. I came in with my dog to order really quickly and one of the chefs grabbed a dog bowl almost immediately and gave him water which was so appreciated! the food was delicious! I got an eggs benedict and an orange juice and it was all less than 20 dollars. loved this place and would love to come bac

Great spot for a delicious Gyro, Orzo Salad & Dirty Chai Tea! Stopped in for a quick lunch, and really appreciated fast, fresh and tasty food.

For anyone who might have visited Cafe Zog and feels wary about trying this spot, fear no more! Caspian is under new ownership, and the owners are super helpful and concerned about their customers' wellbeing. They're from near the Caspian Sea, hence the name, so the items like the Falafel and Gyro are authentically made, and the omelets are AMAZING. I'm not even an omelet person, but the owner insisted I try it. "They have great flavor," he said. And he was right! I got the Greek omelet and coffee. But I've since see soup go by in a big, cozy ceramic bowl and now I kind of want that too (did I mention it's snowing outside? The first snow of the year *breaks down and weeps onto empty plate*). Where was I? Oh yes. Breakfast and lunch all day. Smoothies and coffees and chais. I'll be back!

We stopped here on a weekday morning before hitting the road. This is a one man store, the owner greeted us, got our orders, prepared the food and served us as well. He did have a helper on the side who seemed pretty new and wasn't of much help. At the time we got here, there weren't many people so we were helped quickly, although our food took quite a while to be served and as the place started to get busy, things started to get a bit chaotic to the point that I saw quite a few people leaving without ordering. As for the food, it was just mediocre. I expected a bit more quality. We got egg and cheese croissant and corned beef hash omelette which comes with a side of fruit. My croissant was a bit burnt and the side of fruit was practically a joke - half a strawberry, one tiny slice of kiwi and half slice of orange is not what I expected. There are quite a bit of breakfast places in the neighborhood which might be worth trying before hitting this place. As for parking, there's a parking lot at the back which was convenient.

Really cute place - has a courtyard for outdoor seating. Our waitress was super sweet. But the food- the food was outstanding. Make sure you try a smoothie - pay inside when you are ready to go.

I've visited Rhode Island three times in the last year and every time I'm in town I stop at caspian. The smoothies are so fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing. The area is close to brown university and a variety of cool stores to shop at after.

It's a cozy establishment with incredibly friendly service. There are outlets along the walls in the back, with really comfy high chairs. Because they have wi-fi and it was really quiet when I was there, they're a great alternative to the always-crowded Coffee Exchange down the block. In terms of food, they have a lot of sandwich options, but to be honest, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the price for the size of the sandwich (paid about $9 for a small sandwich and a small bag of chips). I got the curried chicken sandwich, which was tasty, but would have been better if they made them on larger slices of bread. Their other options are probably tastier and more worth the price you pay, so I'd probably give it another shot to try their brunch items.

They close online ordering when they're really busy. I placed my order for one sandwich at 11:05am and the expected pick up time was 12:12. I ordered their hash-it-out, added sausage, and subbed the spicy aioli for their maple one. The bolo bun has a subtle sweetness to it, so it felt like I was eating a healthier, higher-end McGriddle. Everything was perfect. The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.

I was sold as soon as I read their menu and saw that they had a Halva latte. This is one of my favorites and I can only get it at cafes near Boston. If you haven't had it, it's a must try. Halva is a sweet confection that is sesame based. Brown Bee definitely delivered on this one. I hope it stays on the menu! My wife had a pistachio latte that is made with homemade pistachio syrup. We will be going back again this weekend. I want to try the everything croissant with cream cheese baked inside! We may also try one of their breakfast sandwiches. My only recommendation is that they add little chalk boards for each of the croissants with what they are as they had to keep telling everyone what each one was. Still a 10/10.
