Make your own omelette (goat cheese, spinach, mushroom) and Chocolate Chip Pancakes

The food I think is actually good especially just for being a regular diner. They have so many options that it's hard to choose whenever I go, but this omelette was fire. Of course the toppings made it like that (courtesy to mwah). However there was a little hair in/on our pancakes food wise I would say 4/5 just this one experience was meh because of the hair

It is nice to know that some good things don't change (much). We used to be regulars at the Brickway in the mid 2000s and had many an enjoyable meal- they used to have a particular table assistant (whose name is temporarily escaping me) who always made our son feel like a superstar. We returned this summer and it was as cute and funky as ever and was still delicious! It was fairly early in the morning on a weekday, so there were plenty of tables and food came quickly (it did start to fill up as we were leaving). We miss you Brickway!

It's a perfect brunch spot! Vibe and ambiance is fantastic! You walk down the adjacent alley to enter. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the funkiness of the interior takes me back many years! Prices are reasonable, the food tastes great, and the experience is all-round memorable. Every time we travel to RI, this is our go-to brunch spot!

consistent pancakes that are fluffy and yummy even if gluten free. turkey bacon option. hard-working and quick servers, even when rushed. and super cute classic diner vibes. i wet for the east LA omelette with sourdough and a dollop of sour cream on the side. the all-beef chili absolutely slapped. i can't find pics of my past gluten free pancakes but you must trust they are pretty too.

Bottom to top; Norwegian Omelette, special French toast with strawberries and bananas, S-Pet.

This is a cozy and popular breakfast place on Wickenden. The menu is extensive and there's a good mix of sweet and savory breakfast items. On this trip, my friend and I each got a savory item and split a sweet special. I really enjoyed the Norwegian Omelette. There was a good amount of Lox and the sour cream and potatoes integrated well. The special french toast was also great. It provided the nice balance of sweet and savory I often want at breakfast. Service is also really good here. Even though it was busy, we were constantly offered water and coffee refills.

I went on a Saturday morning and there was ample seating. I ordered an omelette with gluten-free toast, and it was OK. Nothing special. What I really enjoyed about the spot was the colorful interior which cheered me up on a very grey day.

Brickway is definitely one of my favorite breakfast places in Providence. The 2 by 4 combo is my go to fave with buttermilk pancakes but their blueberry ones are to die for. Portion size is giant and only comment is be ready to wait on the weekend because they are popular. It can be noisy when crowded.

Love this place! I have no complaints when it comes to food, atmosphere, and service. We chose a window seat as I prefer a little sun since the space is on the dimmer side. I went with something simple which was the Eau Claire omelette. A true testament of a good restaurant is when the ingredients are fresh. The tomatoes with 3 cheeses in the omelette was a great combo. I took my friend here and it was her first time. She was impressed by all the options! We will definitely be back.

Amazing breakfast! They have so many gluten free options including pancakes & French toast!!!! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back. Definitely try and come on a weekday. If you come on a weekend expect to wait at least an hour. It is a small place inside.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

This a local spot, if you know, you know, and if you don't, now you do :) Let me just say that if there is one thing to really focus in on, it's consistency. In today's economy with everything so expensive you sometimes feel like you don't get the best value for money spent. So let me tell you, these guys and girls nail it every single time. First off it's a super cozy spot, perfectly lit with a high end tavern type feel. Service is always prompt and friendly. Ask anyone working and they're happy to help you out. You'll never hear let me get your server. Drinks ! Specialty drafts that are nearly impossible to find anywhere else. Drinks that are so well thought out and properly made. The wife hasn't been able to complain once ;) and that's saying something. The dishes speak for themselves just look at the pics. Who makes sausage cups for dipping ??! This place does. The wife had a watermelon salad here years ago and hasn't stopped talking about it. There is literally something here for everyone and every pallet preference. You have to try their brunch ! It's nice to see a place that really prides itself on what it serves. The wife and I were able to get a sitter and finally have a dinner night and Rogue never disappoints. Getting into the city can be a pain sometimes but it's so worth it coming here. They buy their products from local sources and they're a local business. I love to support it and can't wait to eat here again. For me to take the time to write this is saying a lot but the guys and girls who make this place run, really deserve the recognition. I hope you try them out.

Service was friendly & helpful, and the menu offers many delicious sounding options. Food is fast casual style (order at the counter, get a card - here all were west side street signs, not the usual numbered placards, food will be delivered to your table. I had the avocado shakshuka, my husband had the lox omelet (see the photo). Despite the large menu of fancy coffee options, we each had a basic iced. It was served in a glass, which was a nice touch. Self serve milk was at a station in the dining room area. Coffee was good, cold but I would have traded some coffee for a bit more ice to stay that way as I drank it slowly. Both of us were surprised when our meals were delivered: the plates were beaut! In particular his omelet was absolutely gorgeous! Now for the flavors: the omelet had a generous helping of perfect cooked eggs (not sitting in a pile of grease, as restaurant omelets frequently are). It was so fluffy that we both thought "that's way more than the advertised 3 eggs," and the lox was thickly layered whole slices nestled inside the fold. Most places chop the lox like vegetables, add it to the eggs, & make it like a veggie omelet - meh. This iteration was perfect; the lox tasted like smoked salty fish, losing none of that flavor to the omelet itself. The potatoes? Fabulous! Great spice mix, cooked until they were crispy. That was a tasty bit of marble rye toast too. My shakshuka was very good, but a bit less successful. The elements were all excellent; the avocado was actually guacamole since it was mashed & there were tomatoes and spices in the dish. The combination worked, except for the bread element. The dish as presented was really more of an avocado toast with shakshuka on top. It might have been more successful to add the avocado/guacamole as a unique base on the plate, with the tomato sauce and eggs on top with toast on the side (as is the way shakshuka is traditionally served) because halfway through the bread got really soggy & less appetizing. Still, the first few bites, while everything was still warm? So good!

For the RI food fights challenge, they were serving a CRU Cookie Blazer--an iced dirty chai latte with hazelnut and vanilla syrup, vanilla cold foam, Oreos, and CRU mocha sauce. It's not normally on their menu, but they'll happily make it if you ask! This one was definitely more of a sweet treat than the bold coffee flavor I usually gravitate toward, but if you love dessert-inspired coffee drinks, this is right up your alley. I'll definitely be back because that lobster avocado toast has my name written all over it.

There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.
