Casita RD is a hidden GEM! The service is great you should make reservations before you go it's always busy which is a great thing . Casita RD is a vibe very pretty inside they have lil booths on one side regular tables on the other music is always good . The drinks are A+. My favorite is a Passion Fruit Marg! The food is Delicious ! Go check it out you won't be disappointed.

I've been wanting to check out Casita RD for a while now. As a Dominican, I'm always telling my friends how much I wish there were more sit-down Dominican restaurants with a nice ambiance, not just grab-and-go spots so I'm happy that Casita RD even exists. First off, the drinks were gorgeous. I had one called Mariposa, and it was absolutely delicious super refreshing and well-balanced. For appetizers, we got two orders of mofonguitos, and they were super tasty. The sauce was packed with flavor, and we were off to a really strong start. But then... things kind of slowed down. We ended up waiting almost an hour for our entrees, which was rough. My back was honestly starting to hurt from sitting so long. To make matters worse, after all that waiting, our server came by at the last minute to let us know they had run out of yucca fries. My fiancé got the churrasco chimichurri, and while he said it was good, it wasn't anything mind-blowing -- and the long wait definitely took away from the experience for him. Thankfully, dessert turned things around. We had the coconut flan, and it was delicious but super tiny. All in all, the food and drinks were good, and the vibe was nice, music that made me feel like I was back in the DR for a bit. The wait time was the biggest downside, but I think I would give it another shot and hope for smoother service next time.

Back on August 22, 25 (as per usual random date nights), I have been wanted to come here. Upon arriving like 9ish, went in and it was a full house and the hostess asked if we had reservations (didnt know we needed but in advance everyone should do it!) which we didnt but I did put my name down. She told us it was about 30min wait which was fine. Time went by and we were called that our table was ready. The interior inside was beautiful!!! Not sure if its every night but there was someone singing and another playing their instrument. It was good vibes while we were looking at the menu and waiting for our waiter to come. Our waiter then approaches us and this menu had great options from food to drinks. So first we order our drinks the chinola picante and the flor de quisqueya (delicious!!!) and the presentation exquisite!!!!! For our appetizers, we ordered the chopped cheese empanadas and the crab croquette has Yuca Mash, Mozzarella, Pineapple Pico). Then ordered the Sajoma Sushi has Roll Skirt Steak, Bacon, Cream Cheese, Queso Frito, Pico de Gallo, Maduro and Jarabacoa Roll has Shrimp Tempura, Induveca, Queso Frito, Cream Cheese, Pineapple Pico, Maduro. From the food and drink presentation, everything was so tasteful!!! By the way, during our time there our waiter was so attentive and her service was top notch! Thank you! As we was finishing up our dinner we ordered one more round of drinks which was the chismosa and the sol y playa, yum! Thank you Casita RD for a great night, be back soon!

As a fellow Dominican from Jarabacoa I couldn't feel more grateful and excited to be represented at such a lovely place!! From the moment you step in, it feels like home. I went on a Thursday night around 8 with a reservation for 8 for dinner and some tipico dancing after. Everything was amazing! The attention, food, drinks and the live band that came to play after. I left at 2am (which was early because according to IG they were still going at 4a) due to work the next day but no regrets!! Definitely recommend

The service was grate the waiter was constantly asking if everything was good and we loved that! The inside is gorgeous from the flowers to the seating we love! BUT if you want to wait around 30-60 minutes for your food it's a eh... Mind you their was only 2 tablets one of 2 and one of 4. We order at 12:45 and got our food at 1:45. But after all our time here was not a disappointment.

Absolutely my favorite Comfort food on the island. Nothing beats having a drink with friends and family listening to old and new school merengue and bachata. I'm walking out and someone asked how the food was and I told him it's my 7th time here since they opened coming out from Babylon. For a sushi twist, picture sushi-like rolls steak marinated in house made sauce, fried cheese and topped with a piece of sweet plantain. Tostones rounded and filled with your choice of pork, chicken or shrimp drizzled with house made cream sauce. Cheers

We finally made it to Casita RD for date night! The ambiance and service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and gave great recommendations. My husband enjoyed his margarita and my la massy drink with prosecco top was fabulous! So happy to have this amazing restaurant in town and so close to home!

I had such a nice experience at this restaurant. Loved the Dominican Campo style decor - the aluminum tin (used as roofs many years ago- some homes still have it), the chairs and the bright colored walls. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. We had the empanadas, Dominican pizza and jarabacoa roll as apps- all delicious. I ordered the churassco with truffle fries for my entree and my husband had the red snapper fish. Everything was really good. As far as the drinks- they were a bit on the weak side. I had the spicy passion fruit margarita- didn't love. I ended my meal with a cappuccino and it was perfect! Can't wait to come back! 10/10

If you're looking for amazing Dominican food, this spot is a must-visit! I had the chicharrón mofongo, and it was packed with flavor--perfectly seasoned and not dry at all. My husband went for the sancocho, and the portion was huge, loaded with rich, comforting flavors. On top of the delicious food, they have live music that brings the perfect energy to the experience. Great food, great vibes--we're already planning our next visit!

My friend and I tried this restaurant on a Friday night for the first time and it was phenomenal! We ordered margaritas and the spicy passionfruit cocktail. The spicy passionfruit cocktail was delicious! We also ordered the La Cajita de Gozi to share and it was so good!! It was so much food, you can definitely share that with multiple people. Chrissy was our waitress and she was attentive and so friendly. The restaurant itself is pretty small so I suggest making a reservation. There was live music and the man singing was excellent. The restaurant is decorated so cute and has a great ambiance!

Such great decor!! We loved it as we walked in. Were quickly seated, very busy for a Sunday brunch. Great service, and prices. Food was yummy! Husband got 3 golpes and I got the mofongo chicken. My only complaint was the chicken they use looks like the chicken from Applebees or chilis. You know the chicken that comes with a char. That I didn't like but everything else delicious. We will be back.

All the locals line up for this delicious food, and it's so worth it! Delicious food, great prices, generous portion sizes, large variety of menu options, great customer service! They have a HUGE menu! (See my menu photos). Most items (not all) are premade, and kept in hot steamer tables, ready for your order. There are a few items that are made to order. Our mofongo took about 15 min for them to make, but we didn't mind. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. They took such great care in packaging our food. I was so impressed! Each item is overflowing the containers since the portions are very generous. They make sure to wrap each item individually, in plastic wrap, to avoid any kind of spillage. Don't waste any of the delicious juices and gravy! I really appreciated that the food didn't get spilled in the car before I got home! Kudos to the staff! We tried: -- Sancocho Soup ($11/Large): comes with a pint of white rice. Comfort food at it's best. Very good! -- Mofongo w.Pork ($10): comes with a small container of gravy. The Mofongo itself was a bit dry but good after you include some gravy. Very good and worth the wait! This was a great first experience and I can't wait to go back to try their goat stew, roast pork and other goodies. This restaurant is very busy, so the fast turnover for the food kept the dishes fresh and tasty. Rincon Dominicano is more of a takeout place but if you'd like to eat in, they do have about 10 stool seatings by the counter looking out of the window. Restaurant is very clean. So glad I finally made it here, and we shall be back to try other menu items!
