I went there with some of my family late Saturday into Sunday night. Nautical mile was a ghost town but this place was all we needed. Music was great. Food was fantastic! I had a $5 Caesar salad that looked like it could be a meal itself and it had like a homemade butter bread that was kinda like croutons so good. I also had sweet Thai chili wings. Delicious and I could tell it was made fresh (remember I was there after midnight and the chef was still chefing!!!) my hubby had the jerk chicken and mac&cheese. Great portion size. My initial visit was disappointing. The owner read that review and extended an invitation to give them another try. My family and I decided to take her up on her offer. Instead of going for breakfast/brunch, we chose to go for dinner. What an amazing evening we had, from start to finish. The owner, who I did have an opportunity to meet, was unable to be there. However, we were definitely in good hands! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Rushane, who was also our server. He was friendly, kind, and patient. Good, strong drinks with good, but not great, food. The restaurant is so beautiful and we came in a Monday night so it was quite empty. All of the servers were very attentive and nice, providing us with ample recommendations for food and drinks. One of the waiters spilled my meal on me which was fine as my group and I were celebrating my birthday and we weren't trying to bring down the mood, but he kept coming back every 5 minutes to try and flirt/apologize which made the situation even more annoying. We enjoyed our meals but there was definitely no Asian flavoring to be found. I ordered the Thai shrimp and chicken with fried rice, and there was no Thai influences that I could taste. We were literally the only ones there dining the entire 2 1/2 hours it took for us to get 3 appetizers and 6 main courses (4 of the 6 were the same dinner special). Don't know the chef's strategy, but I'm afraid of what would happen when there is a full house. The food took forever, and still came out at different times. Don't order lobster Mac...disappointing. The Mac was dry and the shrimps, and lobster were overcooked. I was shocked at how empty it was, but if they operate like that, I see why. I can't say I won't try it again. The staff were super cool. I had to write a review while the food taste was still in my mouth and the curry of the shrimp was still plaguing my thoughts. Me and my friend got the royal treatment today from one of the owners, Oliver, who brought us into his restaurant with his ability to be down to earth and his ability to let us know that he has everything behind those doors for any taste buds. Oliver walked us up those 2 flights of stairs to tables that sat next to large windows that overlooked the bay and offered us sweet sangrias as we sat and waited patiently for our meal. I was not only overwhelmed by how the food tasted completely delicious but how he as the owner had taken time out of his day to make sure our lunch was as unforgettable as the scenery.
