Apparently, there was an event that night and the evening turned into a party night on a Tuesday, LOL. I ordered some chicken tacos with fries and my friend ordered some wings. We both ordered rum punch and everything was good and hit the spot. The DJ was playing some great music and we were up on our feet dancing after we ate. The staff were real sweet and accommodating. This is definitely a place to chill and unwind. We only saw the bar menu so I cant speak for the indoor menu and other available items. I would return to check out some other menu items and hear some good music.

We were there for 2 hours and tables were still empty. So we could've sat at a table during our time. - We only ordered appetizers which took almost 45 minutes to come out. - I ordered fish tacos which tasted like the fish wasn't seasoned and mafinated at all. My friend had the same sentiment.

AMAZING experience at Bourbon & Brews!…read more If you're looking for the perfect place to celebrate a birthday or special occasion for friends and family 21+, Bourbon & Brews is definitely the place to go! I had a birthday party with around 45 people, and everything was fantastic! The space was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our group. The party package included a great virarity of food to pick from. I have different friends with different food preferences so the wide options to pick from really helped me plan a party for everyone to enjoy The bartenders who worked my party, John and Mel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made GREAT drinks. There were plenty of tables and seating options, plus chairs at the bar, which gave everyone plenty of room to relax, mingle, and socialize. The BNB also provides card games and a dart board inside which makes the atmosphere lively and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Thank you, Bourbon & Brews, for helping make my birthday celebration so memorable! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone planning a birthday, party, celebration or even just going inside for a drink or two. I can't wait to come back!

The alcoholic beverages were good and strong. The appetizers and cheese board were my favorite. We had the Brussels sprouts and all 3 offered cheeses. I would say that the cheese boards should definitely come with another carb like a cracker or something other than just a few slices of bread. Overall we enjoyed the food, but being one of the only couples in a restaurant can be kind of awkward. Again, I really hope this review garners some more business for them. We will definitely be back.

Imperial Diner in Freeport really impressed me from start to finish. The family that runs this…read moreplace is incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can immediately see why they have so many loyal regulars. They remember customers by name and genuinely make you feel like family. The menu is extensive, but what stood out most was the quality. The Friday shrimp bisque was creamy and loaded with baby shrimp. The chicken and waffle sliders were excellent, and the waffles were so soft and fresh that I honestly didn't even need the maple syrup. The Rise n' Shine Quesadilla was such a great modern breakfast option, packed with eggs, bacon, avocado, black beans, pico de gallo and plenty of cheese. The grilled steak panini was another standout -- the steak was cooked perfectly and was much better than what I'd normally expect from a diner panini. Of course, being at a diner, I had to try something Greek. The gyro wrap was excellent, with thinly sliced, tender and flavorful gyro meat. The biggest surprise for me was the Barolo Braised Short Ribs over whipped potatoes. The portion was huge, the short rib was fork-tender, and the quality honestly felt more like something you'd expect from a full-service restaurant. This was diner food elevated. They also make their desserts in-house downstairs. I tried the individual apple pie and strawberry cheesecake, and I loved that each one was its own little pie instead of just a slice. Both were adorable and delicious. Imperial Diner also has a full bar, curbside pickup and an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. You really don't have to be a "diner person" to enjoy this place. Between the food quality, huge variety and genuinely kind family behind it, Imperial Diner absolutely deserves to be in the conversation with the better diners on Long Island. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried and will definitely be back.

The waterfront views are incredible, especially on a beautiful day, making it a prime spot for tourists right off the port. During our visit, there was a live DJ spinning a heavy Lil Wayne set, which I absolutely loved. My family and I enjoyed the food too - they had the fish tacos and I got a fish sandwich and fries. We enjoyed everything. I also ordered a very dramatic margarita in a tall frog cup, which was both tasty and entertaining. The service, however, was just okay. It seemed like we caught them close to closing, and our server wasn't in the best mood, especially compared to the great energy we saw other tables receiving.
