The family that runs this…read moreplace is incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can immediately see why they have so many loyal regulars. They remember customers by name and genuinely make you feel like family. The menu is extensive, but what stood out most was the quality. The Friday shrimp bisque was creamy and loaded with baby shrimp. The chicken and waffle sliders were excellent, and the waffles were so soft and fresh that I honestly didn't even need the maple syrup. The Rise n' Shine Quesadilla was such a great modern breakfast option, packed with eggs, bacon, avocado, black beans, pico de gallo and plenty of cheese. The grilled steak panini was another standout -- the steak was cooked perfectly and was much better than what I'd normally expect from a diner panini. Of course, being at a diner, I had to try something Greek. The gyro wrap was excellent, with thinly sliced, tender and flavorful gyro meat. The biggest surprise for me was the Barolo Braised Short Ribs over whipped potatoes. The portion was huge, the short rib was fork-tender, and the quality honestly felt more like something you'd expect from a full-service restaurant. This was diner food elevated. They also make their desserts in-house downstairs. I tried the individual apple pie and strawberry cheesecake, and I loved that each one was its own little pie instead of just a slice. Both were adorable and delicious. Imperial Diner also has a full bar, curbside pickup and an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. You really don't have to be a "diner person" to enjoy this place. Between the food quality, huge variety and genuinely kind family behind it, Imperial Diner absolutely deserves to be in the conversation with the better diners on Long Island. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried and will definitely be back.

I tried a sip of the butterscotch one and that was way too sweet for me. I also had a cocktail towards the end of the evening and that was delicious. For food we wanted the gumbo but they had run out so I opted for the chicken quesadilla instead. It was very good and filling. Service was fantastic! I had a birthday party with around 45 people, and everything was fantastic! The space was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our group. The party package included a great virarity of food to pick from. I have different friends with different food preferences so the wide options to pick from really helped me plan a party for everyone to enjoy The bartenders who worked my party, John and Mel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made GREAT drinks. There were plenty of tables and seating options, plus chairs at the bar, which gave everyone plenty of room to relax, mingle, and socialize. The BNB also provides card games and a dart board inside which makes the atmosphere lively and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Thank you, Bourbon & Brews, for helping make my birthday celebration so memorable! Unfortunately, this review is not good at all due to the lack of class, judgment, and inadequacy of this establishment. We came here on a date night because we heard nothing but great reviews on this place. We were seated by a very unpleasant hostess who made it known she did not want to be there at all. We waited for a while for a server to come up to us to get our drink order, but that never happened. I was reluctant to leave at first, but then noticed that there was another table across from us a family of four with two kids who were having the same problem too. They waited patiently as we were, but no one was around to serve us because they were all standing at the bar being loud and goofing around. At that point I had enough and we walked out. I have now read the most recent reviews on this establishment after I left and I should have done that before we came here. A lot of unpleasant reviews have been posted for the past six months about this place. So apparently there's a reason why I had the experience I did as everyone else did recently. It's a shame because the Old reviews prior to the past couple of months were phenomenal. Oh wait you guys must be permanently closed by now as one of the other posts said.
