In a visit to downtown Orlando on a Saturday evening, Casey's was a nice escape to find some live music. I think the best part is the free popcorn. It was pretty crowded, however they had waitresses walking around so you don't have to fight your way to the bar. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. read more

Casey's is always one of the most happening places in downtown orlando. They usually have some low volume live music going so people can talk over it. And this seems to be the key to Casey's, a rather low key place where you can meet, hangout, and talk.. The crowd spills from the inside to the outside tables and almost out into the street on weekends. You can expect to find free popcorn and stongly poured drinks being served. Free popcorn, great long islands, live music, but incredibly small area......went on Saturday night about 945-10. Had a blast eating popcorn and listening to music, but it was such a small area....I was bumping into people left and right. So if you don't like crowds or claustrophobic don't go for a late night drink. read more

GOOD With no cover, good music and low priced drinks, Casey's is an open door to the beginning or the end of your night. Either you start there with a few drinks and leave before the alcohol hits, or you let the booze soaked drinks kick you in the face and weld your but to your seat. If you're in the area or walking by and want to stop in somewhere and grab a beer this place is as good as any. It's quick, it's easy, there's always a spot to fill in and hang out, sometimes even a table on the sidewalk where you can watch some of the foolishness that unfolds on Central Blvd. Seems like a one or two beer kind of place and move on though, not an all night hang out. It can be overcrowded at times but the bartenders and servers always seem to get to everyone. After enjoying Sunday brunch at Big Easy Cajun Kitchen, we decided to visit this cute little corner bar. We are new to the area. When we asked the server at the Big Easy to recommend any other places downtown to try - they were quick to recommend their neighbor. We had to try this cute place with lots of chalkboards with cute sayings. This bar had a large group of upper class patrons. The outside seating is cozy and great for people watching. It is a nice place to socialize and chill. Very casual. A nice compliment to the fun bar next door. We plan to come back and visit again to hear the live acoustic music offered nightly. read more

If you need a strong drink (strongest I've found in Orlando) and a chill atmosphere head on down to Casey's. No food here except for popcorn and drinks so eat before you get here. The bartenders are always friendly and give great service which is a huge reason to find many regulars (myself included). It's a small bar so Thur-Sat can feel very tight, but if you get there early, (before 10pm), you should find yourself a seat both inside or out. Any other night gives you the chance to just kick back and avoid the crowd. I would suggest making Casey's the starter bar to meet up with friends to have some drinks and then head on out to do what you gotta do. read more

Went there last week and liked it. The place is relaxed but boy are their drinks STRONG!!!! They have free popcorn to help take the edge off the drinks and boy they need it! Casey's is a favorite amongst my ground of friends. We typically go back and forth between here and Cleo's Lounge next door. String drinks and a great beer selection. I come for the atmosphere but stay for the regular patrons. Good people just havin a good time! read more

So I went there the other night with a couple of friends and was having a few drinks at the bar before I went to the bathroom. I guess I was in there too long for the bartenders liking because she started knocking at the door harassing me for about a minute. When I opened the door no one was there so I went back to my seat at the bar and complained to my bartender (at this point I didn't know it was one of the bartenders) when all of a sudden a girl comes behind the bar and gets in my face telling me it was her (the bartender) she starts yelling and asking me why I was in the bathroom for so long (about 10 minutes I would say. I like to snapchat, sorry not sorry) I'm dumbfounded that an employee is getting in a paying customer's face at this point over her time spent in the bathroom. I pretty much tell her to drop it and leave me alone but she wouldn't. Instead of starting a bigger problem, I get my tab and just want to leave. The other bartender did nothing to alleviate the situation or make me feel comfortable. He took the girl's side and left it at that. She harassed me the entire time until I walked out the door. Needless to say, I won't be back and don't think anyone else should either. read more

Caseys is an AWESOME bar downtown where you can kick back and relax. Its a little small, but they fit a PACMAN and live band in so I'm SOLD! They have draft beers and lots of booze to choose from. Its a great place to avoid cover charge, way-too-loud music boosting from the speakers, and annoying tweens! Sundays after 7 are half-off alcohol and dont forget the popcorn! If you want your drinks strong, yet cost effective, this is the place to go, hands down. That in itself should seal the deal. Then is the free popcorn and also the occasional live music, which only adds to the positives about this place. They have a bunch of TV screens so you can catch most of the games here as well. It is in a pretty ideal centralized location as there are a bunch of other great places nearby; that makes this an ideal starting or finishing point to your night. The only drawback is that it is not that big of a facility so it can get very packed late at night - but that's an issue that is typical to just about anywhere in this area of downtown Orlando. If you go there earlier in the night you'll have a much easier chance at getting a table and being able to walk around with some breathing space. But I suppose the positive of a giant crowd is that you are bound to run into some interesting characters at this place! read more
