Popcorn! Get ya popcorn here! Casey's on Central is one of the best low key no frills bars in Orlando. I have always seen Casey's as a great starting and/or ending point for any excursion downtown. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong. The staff is crazy cool, friendly, and just downright awesome. Nowadays how often do you see the owner mixing it up behind his very own bar? The answer is easy. Not that often. Casey keeps his clientele happy and coming back again and again. The atmosphere and environment is so laid back. While things may get cramped inside, you will always find refugees congregating around the outside patio area. On certain nights, you can catch some of Orlando's local music flavor. If you are a dog lover then you must attend their annual Dog Fest. I hear it is quite the time! If you happen to be new to the area then I recommend stopping by Casey's to experience the true Orlando. None of that Mickey Mouse stuff. Come on down to Casey's. I stopped in last night (a Thursday) for the first time and I can assure you I'll be back! The service is amazing. My bartender was so friendly and cheerful, it really made a great impression on not just him, but the bar itself. They have a colorful and well-written chalkboard that lists some of their drink selections to the right when you walk in. I sat outside under their awning and I was still able to hear the live band which was really nice. I will definitely be coming back to this location again especially now I know that they give out free popcorn! WIN! read more

Casey's on Central is like my lucky rabbit's foot. Anytime I start my night off here I have the perfect evening. This is a great place, it feels comfortable and friendly. I don't know the owner but they sure do a good job of making you feel like you do. Free late night popcorn is a good reason to come back to this bar after your travels. They have a tiny area where live acts perform and they are masters at fitting(jamming) everyone in and yet not making it uncomfortable. I'd always heard about Casey's from friends and from walking by because I always park on Central and when I finally went I was excited to find that their prices were very reasonable AND that their Long Islands were very very strong. Seems fair enough to me! Pay very little and get really tipsy. The atmosphere is also very fun. I prefer sitting outside to people watch. We all do it. - don't judge me ... or do. Whatever. Casey's is another cool Downtown bar...great for grabbing a few drinks! It's kind of a small place, and tends to get jammed with people...especially on weekends. As small as it is, they still manage to get live bands on a tiny little stage. I've heard some good music there. They have limited seating outside on Central. Don't ask but I ended up here on a Tuesday night. Great service, friendly staff, and good live music. Careful what you ask for when it comes to drinks because they're mixed strong. I got a red bull and vodka and boy I felt good. I ordered only one. They got a good selection of beers on tap. Of course if you visit, you'll have to grab the popcorn. There's several flavored powder to choose from and my favorite is the bacon cheddar. Fun place to check out before you go bar hopping for the rest of the night. read more

Let's just start with I will never come back to this place again. We've been coming to this bar for the last four to five years every couple months or so and never experienced treatment like this. We were not intoxicated, just gotten to the downtown area, and just wanted them to refund a drink because the drink was made incorrectly. They refused to do it while being rude and upset that we were asking for a refund back. Maybe it's because they were busy, maybe they were upset that they had to work on Christmas Eve, not sure what the real reason was. The patron next to us started getting into our whole conversation and because I guess I'm louder than him I was thrown out of the bar. Physically picked up and thrown out of the bar. Same with my daughter, who is 5'2". She was picked up the same way and thrown out of the bar by the bartender who obviously was discriminating between me and her and the customer that was sitting right next to us. She now has bruises all over her because of this. Shame on you. I've never been treated like this at any bar, or club, or any establishment for that matter. You could've simply asked me to leave. Not picked me up and thrown me out. And I'm not sure if that's how your staff is trained, but to physically handle a woman like that, it is ridiculous. Simply asking me to leave would've worked, believe me. But to throw me out and physically hurt me and my daughter like this, leaving marks on mine and her body, it is unacceptable. But at least I know where you stand and how you treat your customers. We will never come back here, will never recommend this establishment and everybody will definitely know about this. read more

Let's talk about Casey's.... last night I went there on a Monday night with a friend visiting from out of town. Another bar down the street recommended we stop at Casey's for some live music as I have not lived in the Orlando area long. Our recommender told us to ask for a waiter he know, BRANDON, so we did. From my first interaction with Brandon I have never felt so publicly degraded and disrespected. When asking which bar tender down the street recommended him, he said in verbatim, "oh did you girls see his d*ck or something? It's huge isn't it" I was completely shocked and left with no words. When bringing our drinks back to the table, he made another comment to me saying, "you girls going out anywhere tonight?" When I explained it was a Monday we had to work in the morning he said again, "You look like you are ready too put out." I was chugging my drink now at this point so I could get out of there ASAP. I was wearing long jeans and a windbreaker and he still took it upon himself to make these comments degrading woman.... as we are packing up to leave he then pulls out Snapchat and sends a video on showing my friend and I's face saying, "I'm having a threesome with these girls tonight, ayyyyeeee!!!" what an outdated, unjust establishment, personally I am trying to figure out what higher power I could tell about this. Cute boys hang out here, but the puke-like smell usually deters me from coming here. I prefer to spend time outside on the patio when possible. Usually its so crowded, there are no seats. Casey's might be small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in popularity. There is not a night of the week that goes by without a small, or in some cases large crowd gathered around this little bar on the corner of Central and Rosiland. The weekends can bring a line out the door with a packed sidewalk patio area and standing room only inside. I really don't know what it is about this dive that draws so many regulars but it certainly does. Inside there's a wrap around bar in the middle, a few TVs, tables, and a stage area for their live music. They have various musicians playing radio hits as well as jazzy numbers throughout the week, though when the music's playing it can be hard to hear your companion speak. My love is the popcorn machine there, its great to grab a basket with a brew and visit with friends. Casey's has a very laid back atmosphere and attracts everyone from happy hour office workers, to hipsters, to rocker types, to those heading to a dance club after. Its mainly filled with casually dressed 30 somethings out to unwind with a beer and possibly a shot or two as the night progresses. With the friendly service and many regulars Casey's claims I can see while it may be plain its popular. I suggest popping in before or after your usual bars to check out its relaxed charm. read more
