B Antonio's - Meat pizza and Cheese Bread…read more We had carry out from the Lima Road B Antonio's. We frequent this place often for salads and sandwiches. Hiwever, this was the first time we have ever had carry out pizza. Here is our experience: We ordered a 14" hand tossed meat pizza at a price of $18. The cheese bread was $7. I wasn't as concerned with the price as I wanted to try the pizza. These prices are pretty much in line with other take out oriented pizza places. They had our pizza freshly out of the iven in about 15 minutes versus the 20-25 minute quoted time. The meat pizza has a really good taste. For a crust we went with a hand tossed pizza. They do offer thin crust and gluten free. The crust had a slightly sweet & floury taste - like their breadsticks. It was baked to a nice golden brown color and texture. Overall it was fairly soft and moist to taste. The edges has a nice firm crisp them without being crunchy. Nice for dipping! The pizza sauce is thicker and has a more bold tomato taste. It comes off a little bit sweet and no real spice to give it heat. The pizza makers spread the sauce out the edges - which I like. The sauce gave the toppings a bit of moisture and accented the meat toppings nicely. I was impressed with the amount of toppings on this pizza. The meats come with Italian sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon and ground beef. The meats seemed to have at least sizable layers of meat. The sausage gave the pizza a little bit of an Italian flavor. The ham and bacon added a nice slightly salty taste. The ground beef didn't do much igger thsn offer an enhanced meat taste. It wasn't greasy. All that was covered in an appropriate amount if mozzarella. I felt like the pizza toppings gave me good value. The cheese bread was a little different than most. Basically they have rolled out their break stick dough and cut into flatter pieces. The dough has a nice slightly sweet floury taste. There is a decently thick bed of mozzarella on top of a lightly buttery-garlic covering. The mozzarella is a bit higher quality so it was smooth and "cheesy" to pull apart. The melted cheese was dressed with some grated Parmesan cheese. I was disappointed in ghe cup of marinara sauce. Im sure it was the same as what was on the pizza - which i liked. However the cup of marinara was extraordinarily thick. So thick that you couldn't dip the cheese bread into it...nor thd pizza crust. The sauce seemed like the thickness might have been caused by over refrigerating it. Regardless it wasn't enjoyable and didn't add to the good experience. Cold Pizza Test - the next day the leftovers were a little bit tougher to chew but not excessively. It retained a decent amount of moisture in the crust and toppings. The Italian flavor in the meats almost disappeared without the warmer temperatures (I ate this one at room temperature the next morning). The cheese and sauce still had a nice flavor. Overall...it had a decent taste for cold pizza.

The staff here was very friendly and helpful for us first timers. pasta di Guy is a step up from mall food and a step below an Italian dine in restaurant that specializes in Italian food. It's not Fazoli's...but it's not Casa's, Ziano's or Salvatori's either. We started with the breadsticks. You basically get two 6" sticks for $2. The bread was soft on the inside and has a slight crunch/crisp on the outside. There was a slight butter and garlic taste to the outside. Overall...okay. Only six inches of breadstick left you wanting more. My wife really liked her Caprese Wrap. This mirrored the Caprese salad quite a bit. The salad was fresh with plenty of arugula. The balsamic vinegar drizzle was very tasty - dark and rich. The tomatoes were foreshadowing like the cheese and lettuce. The cheese had a nice mild taste but I found it very difficult to cut. The salad bowl shape makes it difficult to eat the beautifully presented cheese, tomatoes and drizzle without cutting them into pieces. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. I love spaghetti and meatballs and get this about every where I go. This entree ran about $13 for a medium portion of pasta. There were five small meatballs in the dish. I found the pasta to be perfectly cooked. Easily cut with the plastic knife and tasty. There was not enough marinara sauce to accent the dish. It was thin in volume and made it difficult to bring out good Italian flavors. There wasn't enough Parmesan cheese to give the sauce some added flavor. However they will give you as many packets of cheese as you like. The meatballs were moist and cooked about right to give them some firmness. They weren't out of the Hormel meatball bag...however they didn't have much spice to give it more flavor. I was pleased that I could cut them into lots of pieces and have a bit of meatball with most bits of pasta.

You may NOT split the wing basket into multiple sauces per our waitress. No apparent ability to order additional wings outside the basket - which includes a bed of fries. The wings were very tasty. They are large and meaty. Redwood dips the wings in a batter and then fries them. The batter is slightly thick and crispy - nice touch! The wing is perfectly cooked with no pink insides, tender and moist. I chose the teriyaki and garlic Parmesan sauces in the two different baskets I ordered (I thought 8 wings wouldn't be enough). The teriyaki sauce was moderately thin in consistency. It had a mild teriyaki flavor. Slightly sweet with no spicy aftertaste. The garlic Parmesan sauce was thicker in consistency. It has a nice bold garlic flavor. The Parmesan cheese tended to clump. Each clump brought a bolder pop of cheese flavor. The ranch dip was thin and had a mild ranch flavor. The fries were good - a bit softer and flexible with slight amounts of salty seasoning. I really wasn't interested in fries...but the basket was the only choice. We also tried the onion rings and fried pickles. The onion rings were outstanding. A thicker piece of onion inside a thicker breading. The batter was soft with a slight crisp. Only slightly oily. I was surprised how few rings came in the basket for the price. The fried pickles were good. A dill pickle chip with a very mild dill taste. The breading is thin, crisp and stuck to the chip nicely. Overall, I really liked the wings - though they are pricey. The breaded wing was really good! I wasn't fond of having to buy a basket. I didn't like having to buying another basket to more than 8 wings. I'm sure other wing lovers would like a few more choices than seven flavors. It would have been nice to split the flavors in a basket.

Within that 25 minutes my order was ready. The establishment was lively, full of patrons inside and on the patio area. It appeared to me most of the customers were familiar with the bar/restaurant and they frequent it. There seemed to be a familiarity among many. As for my sausage roll it was good. Pro: great crust - brushed with garlic butter, good sausage- it was not mushy at all. Cons: the sauce was very much a tomato sauce . I like mine with a hint of sweet to cut the acidity. I wouldn't necessarily stop in again, as the sauce is not to my liking, but the roll wasn't bad.
