Nice local pizza place! First and foremost of importance to us are gluten-free options. I had the GF Buffalo Chicken pizza and enjoyed it. I thought the chopped celery on top was fun. I'd rank it 8.5/10 for GF pizzas I've had in Fort Wayne. My husband had the Chicken Club (standard) pizza. 9/10 for Fort Wayne pizzas and much above Johnny Ox, which people seem to way over value in FW. He said the crust was great. Balance of toppings and ranch sauce were spot on. It was easy to order online, and the staff was very nice when we picked up. I do think it was pushing the price point though, so that will keep us from visiting as much as we would like. Give it a try. read more

B Antonio's - Meat pizza and Cheese Bread We had carry out from the Lima Road B Antonio's. We frequent this place often for salads and sandwiches. Hiwever, this was the first time we have ever had carry out pizza. Here is our experience: We ordered a 14" hand tossed meat pizza at a price of $18. The cheese bread was $7. I wasn't as concerned with the price as I wanted to try the pizza. These prices are pretty much in line with other take out oriented pizza places. They had our pizza freshly out of the iven in about 15 minutes versus the 20-25 minute quoted time. The meat pizza has a really good taste. For a crust we went with a hand tossed pizza. They do offer thin crust and gluten free. The crust had a slightly sweet & floury taste - like their breadsticks. It was baked to a nice golden brown color and texture. Overall it was fairly soft and moist to taste. The edges has a nice firm crisp them without being crunchy. Nice for dipping! The pizza sauce is thicker and has a more bold tomato taste. It comes off a little bit sweet and no real spice to give it heat. The pizza makers spread the sauce out the edges - which I like. The sauce gave the toppings a bit of moisture and accented the meat toppings nicely. I was impressed with the amount of toppings on this pizza. The meats come with Italian sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon and ground beef. The meats seemed to have at least sizable layers of meat. The sausage gave the pizza a little bit of an Italian flavor. The ham and bacon added a nice slightly salty taste. The ground beef didn't do much igger thsn offer an enhanced meat taste. It wasn't greasy. All that was covered in an appropriate amount if mozzarella. I felt like the pizza toppings gave me good value. The cheese bread was a little different than most. Basically they have rolled out their break stick dough and cut into flatter pieces. The dough has a nice slightly sweet floury taste. There is a decently thick bed of mozzarella on top of a lightly buttery-garlic covering. The mozzarella is a bit higher quality so it was smooth and "cheesy" to pull apart. The melted cheese was dressed with some grated Parmesan cheese. I was disappointed in ghe cup of marinara sauce. Im sure it was the same as what was on the pizza - which i liked. However the cup of marinara was extraordinarily thick. So thick that you couldn't dip the cheese bread into it...nor thd pizza crust. The sauce seemed like the thickness might have been caused by over refrigerating it. Regardless it wasn't enjoyable and didn't add to the good experience. Cold Pizza Test - the next day the leftovers were a little bit tougher to chew but not excessively. It retained a decent amount of moisture in the crust and toppings. The Italian flavor in the meats almost disappeared without the warmer temperatures (I ate this one at room temperature the next morning). The cheese and sauce still had a nice flavor. Wound NOT recommend! The food is MID at best, the expense is through the roof for the poor quality of food that was delivered. I ordered the wings, and they were really bad. They were soft and mushy, like inedible. Their pizza, is also not good at all from my experience. Very disappointed. Upon entering, we were asked "how many?'' We replied 3 and were seated at a table with 2 menus and 2 sets of utensils. On the way to the table, the carpet looked as though there had been a minor "food fight." Under one of the chairs at our table was an area of dried mud even though it was a dry, sunny day outside and no muddy areas anywhere to be seen. When we placed our order we asked for a "hand-tossed" crust pizza and a Caesar salad to share. When our order arrived the salad seemed "old" and the pizza was only warm and had a thin crust. Upon mentioning our concerns, our waiter volunteered bringing the manager so that we could voice our concerns. He was apologetic and offered compensation for the incorrect order and noted the lack of cleanliness in the area. After leaving, we discussed how this visit brought back vaguely similar memories of a previous visit about 1.5 years before. As a result, it is doubtful that we will return. read more

There is very little to say good about my experience eating here. There was virtually no one else in the place while I was there and still received lousy service! Had to ask for salt and pepper after my salad was brought. Had to ask for extra napkins. Ice must be rationed here because my ICED tea have hardly any! There was dishes and such still left on tables! One server for some reason thought it would be appropriate to spray caustic cleaning fluid on every clean table around where we were eating the entire time we were there ignoring the mess on the floor the entire time! Pizza was so so nothing great at all. It's like the two untrained and apathetic staff was trying their best to make it so we wouldn't ever come back and they succeeded! I honestly forgot about this place, tucked away behind McDonald's & Arby's, next to YoYo & Petsmart on Lima Road. I was reminded of them, from a friendly FREE PIZZA for your birthday within so many days, type of email. So glad they sent it because we've rekindled! I walked in to place a carry out order. Superb food up at B. Antonio's Pizza. I am digging the sausage rolls, I like the meats stacked high on my sausage roll. Taste old school, real ingredients, made from scratch. High quality ingredients here, second to none in these parts pilgrims! Very well thought out sausage roll recipes , good sausage roll fillings and such.The American and Italian sausage is very good. Cheeses are superb, the side items are superb. Even the sauces are nice like the BBQ, Cheese, stuff like that. Great garlic bread and breadsticks. They make a nice sauce too, the tomato sauces on the Pizza's all the way to the pasta style sauces, these are super People! This should be your standard pizza place. Beats all the chains hands down, great for the family and for take out. Well I've been here several times and I am always impressed. The service is friendly and . Everyone always has a smile and prompted to meet any requests. Nice to see a family business where customer service is a priority. Now to the food, like I said I have been here several times with small groups, large groups and take out; 100% of the time the order was correct, on time and the quality is excellent. We were in Christmas eve day for lunch had a personal pizza, med pizza (veggie) and cauliflower buffalo wings (by the way first time I heard of that was here). This pizzeria has been a regular for us when it comes to having food delivered. However, repeated errors in the last two orders has moved them down drastically on our list of places to patronize. The first order shorted us cinnamon bread and a canoli. We didn't complain because every restaurant can make a mistake. Even though we lost $3 on the order, we were willing to overlook the error. Tonight, we had out of town guests and after describing the canolis. We ordered two pizzas and two orders of two canolis for a total of four. One order of canoli wasn't included in the order and one of the two pizzas had incorrect toppings. When we called the restaurant they told us they were too busy to deal with our problem and would credit our account. No accountability, no proof that the credit was made, and no canolis to share with the group. Even more importantly, no more orders will be placed to B. Antonio's. The food is normally good. The pasta dishes don't raise to the level of Ziano's or Casa but they are decent. Unique pizzas have been enjoyable. Ciabottas are good. Can't attest to the cinnamon bread. I can't very fairly judge the pizza because we ordered it in for a meeting, and it sat for 15 minutes or so before we ate it. I'd say considering that, it was very tasty. We had the Tuscany Chicken (yummy and unique combination of flavors) and their specialty pepperoni pizza. Both were flavorful, the pepperoni pie had a ton of cheese. I have to give their service 5 stars - I wanted to order in advance of our meeting so I didn't have to worry about stepping out to order. I placed the order the day prior and told them where and when to show up, and they were right on time. The salads we ordered to share weren't as large as I thought they would be. Loved the pizza. Loved the cheese-stuffed breadsticks (note: just one will fill you!) The hot ham and cheese ciabatta sandwich was very tasty, and even microwaved well the next day. However, the "ciabatta" is a bit misleading--it was more like a Foccacia flatbread and not a proper ciabatta loaf, which makes me wonder if it's store bought and not made from scratch. Worth a try! With so many pizza joints in Fort Wayne this is one you should go to. Great pizza by the slice lunch special with a frequent eater program which rewards you with a free lunch later. And let me tell you the pizza is fantastic! After three visits I can't help but order the slices of pepperoni. I swear next time I will try something new. They have self advertised their breadsticks as the best in town but I was not impressed. They really are just plain breadsticks and I like a little flavor to mine. We stopped in here for dinner this evening and were thrilled with both the food and service! I loved that they have plenty of size options and the servers were prompt and polite. I ordered a calzone and my mom ordered a personal signature pizza, and both were fantastic. They must put an egg wash on the calzone because the crust was nice and crispy. The thin crust pizza we ordered was also nice and crisp all the way through. We also really loved the small town atmosphere; it reminded me of the pizza place I worked in high school.
