On a recent trip to Ft Wayne we were hungry on Saturday evening and wanted pizza. We usually order from Marco's but their delivery is terrible so we'd have to drive there and back. Deciding we're done with Marco's our son-in-law recommended Lexy's. Just a couple miles down the road from our hotel so we thought "Why Not!?". After perusing the menu online we found the Neapolitan pizza. (My wife kept calling it the Napoleon) It looked tasty and all the reviews we read mentioned that the quantities of the toppings on all their pizzas were insane. I was hungry. It was a perfect fit. Fast forward about 20 minutes and we arrived to pick up our pizza. There's some seating and table for diners-in. Nothing extravagant, but enough for people who don't want to haul the pizza back to the hotel/home/girlfriend's house/workplace/crematory. Our pie was hot and ready, so pickup was fast. First thing I noticed about this pizza was the weight. It was not light. in fact, it was HEAVY. It also made the car smell great on our way back. When you're as hungry as I was that smell was better than the new car scent that the car wash put in my car earlier that week. Pizza in hand, a bucket of ice and a couple bottles of Dr. Pepper® later and we're ready for food. Holy HELL, this pizza was amazing! Sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper, and mozzarella never tasted so good. Seriously. This was fantastic. We ordered a large pizza because....pizza. Usually there's a piece or two left over. Not this time. I don't know the story behind Lexy's and I don't know how long it's been there, but I do know that this was, hands down, the best pizza I've ever had in Ft Wayne. Now I have to suffer in pizza mediocrity until the next time we go to Ft. Wayne. Thanks for spoiling my pizza appetite, Lexy's! read more

I hadn't had Lexy's in a while- and now I can't imagine why. I had the everything pizza and it was literally everything. The crust was a nice soft crisp- just the correct amount of each. The toppings were each uniquely flavorful and tasty. The sauce was perfect! Normally my family only likes pepperoni, so I didn't get enough for them, but they all tried it and loved it just as much as I did. The location is at the end of its corner of the strip plaza and has parking in front of and around the building. The staff were all wearing gloves as they prepared pizzas and they were quick and efficient. read more

At a hotel by park view and not many places deliver and I am Not a huge fan of Uber eats etc.. So we have ordered from Lexys twice now. Both times very well put together pies. First time was a thin crust, this time it was the deep dish. Great flavors and I love the fact they use green olives over the typical, overused black Olives! I have been told that there is a rivalry between Lexys deep dish and Redwoods deep dish... can't wait to see whose pie we like best! Redwoods better bring it cause the only complaint about Lexys is that the cheese isn't browned which adds that last little flavor to it! read more

All hail Lexy's!! Since moving to Angola 4 yrs ago, we have not had a good pizza. NYE we decided to order early & I would pick it up on my 45min drive home. They were busy, but the pizzas were ready. I brought along a hot/cold bag for transport & sat them on my heated seat for the drive home. They are exactly how I remember the old Spring St pizzas! Flavorful, perfectly done. There was not any excess of sloppy sauce, it was loaded with sausage & those wonderful canned mushrooms. We'll be doing this more often now that we realize there is a Leo Crossing location that isn't too far off the Interstate to pick up. Thanks Lexi! Next time....sausage rolls! read more

I left a review a while back bashing Lexy's Pizza at Leo Crossing re their ham & cheese sandwiches. We were also not impressed with their deep dish pizzas. We decided to try them again last night... we ordered a veggie deep dish with extra cheese and black olives. This pizza was excellent as ordered. I stand by my original review as the issue was still present as of today wearing the same gloves touching money, pens, credit cards, and then you got it -- your food. This again, was the owner. He even used hand sanitizer on his gloves, which degrades the integrity of gloves. Gross!! Owner seems to staff the front quite often, he's very flat, not customer service oriented. I walked in and he says "can I help you" from halfway back in the kitchen, then can't hear what I say. He came across very much like I inconvenienced him by spending money in his store. Waited significantly longer than my pickup time, which is no big deal, just let me know when I get there. Food was delicious as usual. read more

Nick Ford the new owner will end up being the fall of Lexy's. So sad to see what his Grandfather and Father built up and took such pride in. They always prided themselves in giving a quality product for a fair price and treated their customers with service and respect if there ever was a problem which was rare. The sign on their door and their advertisements reads generous quantities and good quality I am here to tell you just as others have stated in their reviews it's not that way anymore. Good luck if you do have an issue now Nick Ford is very snotty, argumentative, disrespectful, and flat out lies to you instead of trying to treat customers how they should be treated. We have spent days of arguing with him just to get our money finally refunded today. I have never been treated this way from a business. This guy needs to learn what customer service is. If you look at the good reviews most of them are before Nick took over. So sad to see this place become this. I have been going there before this guy was born. I will never go back!! Stopped in on a weekday afternoon for sandwiches. Walked into a clean store with NO other diners present. One employee behind the counter opening a package of cheese. He looked up long enough to make eye contact and continued to open the package of cheese. No "hello" no " be with you in a minute" nothing. We waited for a few more minutes- still nothing. I would tell you about the food, the ham and cheese sandwiches that we were ready to order- but I cant. We didn't get sandwiches, didn't get to order. Didn't get our order taken. We weren't even spoken to- despite being THE ONLY OTHER VISIBLE PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Sad because we have eaten there in the past for dine in, carry out and delivery with no problems. Simply the best. I eat a lot of pizza. My favorite is easily Lexy's Pizza at Leo Crossing. Even a regular pizza fills you up but when you get the deep dish everything you can only eat 1 or 2 on a good day. Crust is always perfect , the pepperoni is nice and crispy and their sauce is the bomb. I drive approximately a half hour to get this pie. Well worth my travel time. Lexy's is the best ! read more

I'm a regular customer of lexy's but when I stopped in today to order a pizza to go the lady standing at the pizza making area, in the progress of making a pizza for someone said they were not making anymore pizzas. I was there a little before 5:00 on Sunday. They advertise Sunday hours open until 8:00 pm. She said that they would make me a sandwich or a pizza roll but no pizzas as they wanted to close early for the Labor Day weekend. My comment to the owners of Lexy's is that they have forever lost a regular customer and I'll find another place to get my pizza from going forward. read more

Oh man. This place was on the list of top pizza places of Indiana and I can see why. We opted for the deep dish and it did not disappoint. Loads of buttery smooth cheese on top of quality toppings. We definitely had leftovers. This location was small for dining in but seems like most orders were for take out. We were not local to the area so we dined in but there was a steady stream of take out while we were there. We will definitely be back! read more

Pizza was good, not the best I've ever had but definitely not the worst. I just don't feel like it was anything special that will bring me back. They were definitely generous on the portions and the medium was the perfect size for our family of four. From the time we ordered until our pizza was ready was just shy of 30 minutes. I felt like that was long especially since we were the only ones there. While we were there a couple came in and ordered sandwiches and another person came in to pick up his carry out order. He waited for about 10 minutes which made me wonder if he came too early or if they're just that slow in prepping orders. When our pizza was ready it was HOT and I mean HOT as in don't even think of putting it up to your mouth for at least 5 minutes hot. That's how long I waited and I still burned the roof of my mouth. Overall an ok experience but with so many other choices in the Ft Wayne area I don't see us returning. read more

Not impressed. If you're going to be known for "generous toppings" then you should make a crust to support those toppings. As soon as I picked up a piece everything fell off and I had to eat the pizza with a fork. Crust was a little soggy as well. Probably won't visit here again. read more

Visited parents on Christmas from out of town. After seeing a movie we tried to find somewhere else that was open. Literally NOTHING was open. Saw a guy walking w a Lexy's Pizza box and were directed to "the best pizza in town" 5 Start for being open on Christmas!! Ordered a large pepperoni and onion for carryout. It was pretty good. This was our first tike trying this place. If you haven't had, it is a pretty thin crust but is very saucy. Surprisingly it doesn't leak through with all the sauce and toppings. The only negative was price and size. A large was $16 only 8 pieces and we finished the whole thing. Maybe we are pigs, haha. So they say they have a pizza buffet, but apparently it's not available most days. Or any day after 1 if you're lucky enough to pick a day that features this gas-station style rotisserie rack of dried up pie. The pizza is mediocre and overpriced. I can't say I agree with the reviews in the recent past as I have always had a good experience here. The pizza's have been loaded with good quality ingredients and always look forward to the next day cold slice. This place is definitely better than the area chains around here and I will certainly continue to get my pizza's here. First of all let me start by saying this was my first time here. I love to try new pizza places. When I walked into get carry out it was obviously busy. With that being said there was someone checking out at the register and when they were done he walked away from the counter and started filling orders from the oven. It took them about another 5 minuets Before they got over to take my order. I understand they were busy. But they were in NO HURRY to take my order. The gentleman loafed over to the counter like he didn't have a care in the world. I was still polite given the circumstances and put in my order. He told about twenty min. So 45 min Later he loafed back to the counter to give me my pizza which was sitting on top of the oven already boxed up. This was after he told me five more min. and let my pizza sit there why he filled other orders. I was extremely sad with the lack of good service. Maybe it was just a bad night. The pizza was a large, which is 14". It was about 15$ and some change for two toppings. The toppings were plentiful and tasted fairly good. I think the sauce which is my favorite thing was a little bland. But overall the pizza was good. We also got a chef salad which was very good given the price of 5 dollars. Enough for two people easily. I hope that this was just an bad night. I'd like to give them another shot. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. The service, not the food:). Pardon the pun. I'll gladly change my rating next time if the service is on point. I just can't do better then two stars at this point. read more
