Family gathering after Margaret's recital

CasaD is our favorite Mexican Restaurant!! We've been coming here for years, and the food is always great!! The service is very good & the ambiance is warm and friendly!! It's popular with all ages, and we often see people we know!

The ambiance and the service was awesome! The tortillas are not house made which was a big disappointment but overall the food wasn't too bad. The margarita was very good and not too sweet. I enjoyed their welcoming hospitality which is so hard to come by these days.

Want classic Tex Mex in Waco? This is your place. Great Happy Hour and super friendly staff. The food hits the mark too!

Typical Mexican restaurant! I ate up my whole meal, it was good & came out exactly as I had expdcted. I am giving Casa De Castillo 3/5 stars because I could get the same Mexican food in Minnesota where I am from. It wasn't bad, just didn't have anything special to it. Their salsa that you first get before your meal was weird. It was thick like tomato sauce and tasted kind of sweet rather than spicy.

My Grandmas best friend is OBSESSED with this place!! Every time I visit Waco, we come here without hesitation. Friendly staff (they all know her order) and good food. Giving 5 stars because my grandma simply would not say anything less! I have no complaints, everything is great and I love how the staff reacts with my grandma and her friends. Can't find nicer people :) will be back, as always!

Yuck. Every time a friend or coworker persuades me to try this place, the same result.

Passing through heading to Dallas, looked up a Mexican restaurant that could accommodate mine and…read moremy wife's Lenten appetite and saw this place on Yelp. Thought we'd give it a try seeing as it was 10 minutes off I-35. Found the small place and it was exactly what we were looking for! The chips and salsa was super tasty, the half and half tea was on point, and you can't go wrong with a Mexican coke! Ordered the cheese enchiladas plate and the wife got a quesadilla. We were pleasantly satisfied and they hit the spot. Tbh though, the beans and rice won my heart being so flavorful and delicious. The service was superb and I appreciated their thoughtfulness of checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. All in all, we highly recommend you visit them if you're in the area, we got a table quick around 7 pm and it was a quaint epic time! Try it soon and you won't regret!

We love this local spot and choose it regularly…read more The barbacoa quesadillas for lunch are incredible. I can really only eat half, so I save the rest for later. Their homemade chips are light and crispy, and their salsa is super flavorful while not overly spicy. It hits that happy medium between my husband and me. Breakfast is also great. You go in and pretty much grab a table unless there's a line with people waiting. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Typical mom and pop type interior with a mixture of booth seating and tables with metal chairs. It's always clean. Branch out and try something new. Highly recommend.
