The chips and salsa was super tasty, the half and half tea was on point, and you can't go wrong with a Mexican coke! Ordered the cheese enchiladas plate and the wife got a quesadilla. We were pleasantly satisfied and they hit the spot. Tbh though, the beans and rice won my heart being so flavorful and delicious. The service was superb and I appreciated their thoughtfulness of checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. Their homemade chips are light and crispy, and their salsa is super flavorful while not overly spicy. It hits that happy medium between my husband and me. Breakfast is also great. You go in and pretty much grab a table unless there's a line with people waiting. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Typical mom and pop type interior with a mixture of booth seating and tables with metal chairs. It's always clean. Branch out and try something new. Highly recommend.

They have a taco salad that is absolutely delicious! Their margaritas are also on point. The Waco restaurant is a little more homey and not quite as luxe feeling as the Houston locations, but it can be solidly relied upon for good, filling Tex-Mex, so I love to stop by when I'm in town.
