This is the 2nd time I have been here. They have really AWESOME FAT breakfast tacos!!!! I can't even imagine trying to eat a whole breakfast burrito. Both times I have eaten here, I called ahead and picked up at the drive thru. My food was hot and ready And had everything you would need in the bag. The red and green salsa was spot on. The ladies that have waited on me have been sweet as sugar and The prices are very reasonable. I will be coming back. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to dine in soon. Better go get you some!!!

If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant this is NOT it! For starters the chips and salsa were alright, Tostitos for chip was disappointing, salsa was ok. Potatoes & beans were BLAND they didn't even try to season with salt. They used the same Tostitos for the chilaquiles which was a deal breaker for us. I got the Green and the salsa was COLD on my food. We also got a side of pancakes, nothing bad to say about them except that they came out burnt. Overall will not come again, this definitely should not be called a Mexican restaurant, we just laughed it off and ate what we could.

Delicious food! I would've taken a picture of my ham and cheese omelet but I was so excited to eat it I forgot . Definitely one of the best places I've found here. Definitely coming back!

I love this restaurant! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The coffee was good and the omelette was delicious! Oh, and you can't beat the amazing prices for the food!

Great Mexican food, great friendly staff, food is served very hot, along with clean utensils. Staff makes you feel like home away from home.

We chose this restaurant based on its high reviews, but unfortunately left very disappointed…read more After being told to seat ourselves, we waited so long for menus and drinks that we nearly left. The waitress was sweet, but remained slow throughout the entire meal. Our waitress never offered drink refills, and we waited extended periods for a to-go box and our check before finally going to the cashier ourselves. The biggest issue was a strong sewage-like odor coming from the restroom area. We were seated nearby, and every time the bathroom doors opened, the smell drifted into the dining room. Even the handwashing station in the dining area had the same unpleasant odor. The food looked great when it arrived, and the chips and salsa seemed fresh. However, I was disappointed to learn they no longer serve guacamole with their fajitas. The chicken fajitas arrived sizzling hot, but became very dry as they cooled. They were spicy, but lacked much flavor. The rice and beans were good. Overall, between the slow service, unpleasant smell, and mediocre food, I would not return or recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Waco that I'd try before coming back here.

There's so much seasoning on them that you don't get to appreciate the salsa because the chips are overpowering.. A restaurant with this type of quality needs to have chips that are made in house without anything other than salt.

Fun place - and sour cream chicken enchiladas are to die for!!…read more Decor : Absolutely a nice and clean TexMex environment. Charming spaces and tables are not too close together. Music is softly playing in the background. The bar is large with three TVs. Very warm and inviting. Score: 10 out of 10 Chips: Chips are medium thickness, unsalted, very nice. Score: 7.5 out of 10 Salsa: Salsa has a beautiful traditional tomato based flavor medium on the spicing and low heat - flavorful. Score: 9 out of 10 Chicken Quesadilla w/ onions & peppers: Skip this one. The chicken is absolutely bone dry, tough, and overcooked. The peppers and onions are beautifully sautéed al dente and the cheese veg and meat ratios are proportional. Score: 2 out of 10 Guacamole: Very nice, but had bit of saltiness to the point I could not enjoy it. (Note: I also don't use much salt myself, so the average person may not even notice it.) Score: 2 out of 10 Beef Enchilada with chili con Carne sauce: Good portion. Meat is moist, not greasy, but also not seasoned very much. The chili carne sauce was nice but had a bit of sweetness (possibly sugar added). Was enjoyable, but not outstanding. Score: 7 out of 10 Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada: Amazing! Outstanding! Absolutely get some! The chicken is extremely moist, absolutely perfect seasoning with just a gentle hint of heat. The sauce has a beautiful tang from the sour cream and the correct consistency. Good portion. Can't wait to come back and have them again. Score: 10 out of 10 Server (CiCi) Absolutely wonderful. Very attentive refresh my drink without me asking for it and very courteous. Score: 10 out of 10 Overall Score: 7.5 But for the guacamole and quesadilla issues, score would be 9 out of 10. DEFINITELY go for the Sour Cream Enchiladas!!!! I'll be back for those!

Thought we'd give it a try seeing as it was 10 minutes off I-35. Found the small place and it was exactly what we were looking for! The chips and salsa was super tasty, the half and half tea was on point, and you can't go wrong with a Mexican coke! Ordered the cheese enchiladas plate and the wife got a quesadilla. We were pleasantly satisfied and they hit the spot. Tbh though, the beans and rice won my heart being so flavorful and delicious. The service was superb and I appreciated their thoughtfulness of checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. All in all, we highly recommend you visit them if you're in the area, we got a table quick around 7 pm and it was a quaint epic time! Try it soon and you won't regret!

Their homemade chips are light and crispy, and their salsa is super flavorful while not overly spicy. It hits that happy medium between my husband and me. Breakfast is also great. You go in and pretty much grab a table unless there's a line with people waiting. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Typical mom and pop type interior with a mixture of booth seating and tables with metal chairs. It's always clean. Branch out and try something new. Highly recommend.
