Great Mexican food (breakfast or lunch) while surfing in Waco.

Great food. Warm chips and the red sauce on the Huevos Rancheros is delicioso not to mention they serve it until 2 (when restaurant closes). It's a 5 minute drive from Waco Surf. Nothing fancy and lots of locals. Only complaint is their fountain Diet Coke has a splash of Dr. Pepper taste to it. And it's like this every time. We let them know and they said "that's what everyone says" and we got the bottles. I recommend getting bottle or can of you don't like Dr. Pepper. BUT if you do like Dr. Pepper you're in luck because it's made right here in Waco and you can go your the plant. The place has good service and plenty of parking. Definitely will eat there again.

If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant this is NOT it! For starters the chips and salsa were alright, Tostitos for chip was disappointing, salsa was ok. Potatoes & beans were BLAND they didn't even try to season with salt. They used the same Tostitos for the chilaquiles which was a deal breaker for us. I got the Green and the salsa was COLD on my food. We also got a side of pancakes, nothing bad to say about them except that they came out burnt. Overall will not come again, this definitely should not be called a Mexican restaurant, we just laughed it off and ate what we could.

Delicious food! I would've taken a picture of my ham and cheese omelet but I was so excited to eat it I forgot . Definitely one of the best places I've found here. Definitely coming back!

I love this restaurant! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The coffee was good and the omelette was delicious! Oh, and you can't beat the amazing prices for the food!

Great Mexican food, great friendly staff, food is served very hot, along with clean utensils. Staff makes you feel like home away from home.

Thought we'd give it a try seeing as it was 10 minutes off I-35. Found the small place and it was exactly what we were looking for! The chips and salsa was super tasty, the half and half tea was on point, and you can't go wrong with a Mexican coke! Ordered the cheese enchiladas plate and the wife got a quesadilla. We were pleasantly satisfied and they hit the spot. Tbh though, the beans and rice won my heart being so flavorful and delicious. The service was superb and I appreciated their thoughtfulness of checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. All in all, we highly recommend you visit them if you're in the area, we got a table quick around 7 pm and it was a quaint epic time! Try it soon and you won't regret!

Their homemade chips are light and crispy, and their salsa is super flavorful while not overly spicy. It hits that happy medium between my husband and me. Breakfast is also great. You go in and pretty much grab a table unless there's a line with people waiting. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Typical mom and pop type interior with a mixture of booth seating and tables with metal chairs. It's always clean. Branch out and try something new. Highly recommend.
