Walked in; danced out!…read more A first timer when it comes to vision issues, I booked an appointment at this location as it is nearby to home and work. KISMET! I was very satisfied (nay happy!) with the service I received. I appreciated the effortless onboarding experience that could be done by filling out forms online. Arrived at my appointment slightly early and was attended to right away. The staff here are absolutely delightful, from reception, to the doctors, to the eye bar specialist. My interactions were bubbly and pleasant. Dr. Reynon carefully listened to my concerns during the exam and addressed all my questions expertly. I especially appreciated a concern he raised during my exam, and the team worked to get some of his findings to my oncologist for review. Baby's first glasses! As this was my first time getting glasses, I want to give a special shout-out to the kind woman who shepherded me through the whole process. I was told they would be ready in ten days, but they were ready after two! I can't recommend this place enough due to them getting me exactly what I needed. I cannot comment on pricing. I imagine I could have taken my prescription to Walmart for something less expensive, but why would I do that when this office is equipped with the right people delivering the right services and treating them right?

If your household has three people needing eye exams, you'll have to make multiple trips -- very inconvenient and inconsiderate. Even worse, the front desk staff who answer the phone are extremely rude. They interrupt while you're speaking and have even hung up mid-conversation. Completely unprofessional. Not recommended -- especially if you're looking for a clinic that values your time and treats patients with basic courtesy.

I had no previous eye complications or concerns. Day 1: * Dr. Adam Bryan came into the room and greeted me as follows, "So what's up, what's up, what's new, what's good?" etc. I am not sure if this was because I am black or some other insecurity he was projecting, but the lack of professionalism in his tone and attitude were disrespectful and put me on edge. * As he reviewed the digital retinal imaging, he noticed something strange in the right eye. In his words, "We will rescan this eye to make sure there is no monster there." The rescan never happened; instead, he had me follow him out and wait for a lady to help me purchase glasses. I explained to the young lady that I would just take the eyeglass prescription elsewhere. From that point, I left the eye exam still processing rudeness and completely forgot about the rescan. * As the day went on, my right eye ("the one that may have indicated a monster") continued to feel discomfort, straining, irritation, and sensitivity to light. In the evening, I happened to notice there was an excessive amount of blood in the sclera portion in that same eye. Now, it is important to mention that I did NOT do anything strenuous after the appointment. * I called the office to speak to the on-call doctor since it was now after hours, but I left a message and never received a call back. NO RESPONSE. Day 2: * First thing in the morning, I went back to the same eye doctor to explain what occurred. The original retinal imaging device had some issues getting an image the prior day, so I asked to be rescanned with a different retinal imaging machine to make sure everything was done as advertised. It is also important to note this exam is NOT covered by insurance but at this office it is mandated. I also did not add on day 1, the technician had difficulty getting the picture of the right eye and when she did, I immediately felt a burning sensation and sharp pain on this particular side. I explained to her this was different discomfort compared to the left eye which was scanned. * Upon my revisit on day 2, I overheard this same technician tell the new technician who was now helping me, that the machine was going through updates during the time we had issues getting an image of the "monstrous eye." This is concerning if you are putting a patient on a machine that is NOT working to its full capacity. * IMHO, Dr. Bryan's approach was arrogant, accusatory and aggressive. He asked me, if I did not see the blood in my eye, "Would I be concerned?" I have said something like this before as well, but it was to my child...not a patient. This physician went on to explain that he did not see any increased pressure or inflammation but that he would treat my "symptoms" with a prescription eye drop for inflammation (interesting). * Preparing to leave, I overheard him greeting another patient with professionalism, dignity, and respect. No, this patient did not look like me. Personal Note: What Dr. Bryant didn't know is that I have 15 years of experience in the medical field, I am fully aware and familiar with processes and procedures. I was not there to be treated for anxiety or paranoia; my eye was hurting, and the eye was obviously under stress with visual evidence to support this. This physician never addressed why the reimaging was skipped during the previous day when he noticed something questionable, but instead he rushed me out to purchase glasses from his company (as he is the owner) and then had me out the door. Putting his lack of care on me as the patient is what I would consider, unethical. In addition, he charged my insurance for another visit to follow up on this issue the very next morning. A good doctor would listen, assess and evaluate. No patient feels comfortable being greeted in a degrading manner, regardless of color. DO BETTER.

There were NO employees in sight other than the 2 at the front desk who didn't even get out of their chair. The older lady on the left (who didn't crack a smile the first time either) was downright majorly rude!!!!! The younger African American lady wanted to just hand me the glasses and get rid of me! She seemed very very annoyed that I actually wanted to try them on! Then when the glasses made me instantly dizzy, the older lady kept arguing with me and gaslighting, saying it was just because the prescription changed and that I would "get used to it"!! I kept telling her the prescription did NOT change (and it made me wonder how many kids she had gaslighted into leaving without getting satisfaction!)! The ONLY reason I got the glasses to begin with was that the others had not been adjusted right and they gave me an eventual migraine. But THESE gave me an instant migraine AND made me dizzy! FINALLY a lady employee came out from hiding and said "let me see...". She said the curve had not been taken out - 5 seconds of adjusting... better, but not great. They ARGUED (literally all 3 of them) with me that there was nothing else they could do and that I would get used to it. I had to keep standing my ground - which no one should have to do!!! I felt like I was in a full-on battle! Finally, a guy employee came out from hiding and adjusted them and 10 seconds later they were fine. WOW!!! Totally makes me wonder how many others they have gaslighted instead of just knowing we are not lying or mistaken and just fixing the problem!!!! I left in tears and exhausted from a battle I was not expecting and should have never had!!!!!!! (PS- I was the ONLY customer there.) Will NEVER go back! NOTHING is worth that! Why do they keep those grumpy, rude, argumentative employees???

They've obviously spent some time considering lighting and it really helps put you in a good mood when you walk in. Dr. White was great! He gave me a bunch of options other than glasses without the resigned tone that some doctors have talking to a person in their 60's. He mentioned aging in a very gracious way, not by saying "at your age..." which really sets me off. As it happened I sent in an old pair of glasses to get new lenses put in. Unfortunately, the frames broke in the lab. I got a text message from Aimee who apologized and said I could come in and pick out replacement frames at no cost. That was very generous and much appreciated. I have a vision plan but by the time you add in all the extra options like protective coatings, the cost can really add up. So it was great to be able to get some new frames without incurring an additional cost. Highly recommended. I really like this practice and you will too.
