Have heard from friends and locals who grew up eating Mario's that this was the place to go and you could always watch Mario making the pizza fresh outdoors. The menu here is so assorted from burgers to hot sandwiches to cold sandwiches to delicious legendary pizza and then not to mention the Carvel ice cream options. The carving store discerns its own review and equal legendary status as it's one of the most expansive menus of ever seen from soft serve ice cream to different Sundays to almost every flavor you can dream of and quality and efficient customer service. Stopped by Carvel the other day on an afternoon walk and had the most refreshing ice cream! This spot is so cute, it's a walk up stand that reminds you of something you'd see at the beach and had tons of outdoor seating. They have a ton of options between ice cream and cakes. How can you screw up a Coke float? as a review you get a container you pour some soft serve ice cream into it, and then pour some Coca-Cola into it. these kids poured Coke a little bit of ice cream mix it up in the milkshake machine and then poured a dollop of ice cream on top of it called a Coke float. this was utterly disappointing. I got the "small" cup of swirl soft serve. It was delicious and much bigger than I expected. Because the serving sizes are quite large, this place is a bit expensive. One person is working the outside window, so it can take awhile awkwardly standing outside for your food. There's standing water sometimes in the potholes and divets in the parking lot, so beware of where you're standing for mosquitos. I got a banana sundae. The soft serve vanilla ice cream is always enjoyable here! This place feels like a throwback. Order at the window and plenty of benches outside. The small cup/cone is quite large, so I can't imagine the size of the large cup. They have lots of flavors, but the soft serve flavors are vanilla, chocolate, and swirl. This place is so overwhelming!!! They have hard ice cream, soft ice cream, milk shakes, sundaes, lattes, ice cream cakes, cannolis...and that's only if you are ordering from the outside. They have a full food menu inside as well!! Not that its a bad thing, but i did end up keeping it simple. I got the soft serve swirl on a chocolate dipped cone with chocolate sprinkles and i had then put a brownie inside the cone. So. Insanely. Delicious.
