Yummmmmmm. So glad we have one that opened in arlington! Went on a sunday night and the line was longgg. There are only two kiosks to order from and so many different options to choose from. I think this is what causes the long time as the service is fast but people don't know what to choose! There are a couple tables outside with some paper towels but the ice cream was delicious. There were a ton of options on top and it was the perfect summer treat. It can get heavy so I recommend sharing with a friend or two!

This place is viral on social media! Just happened to be nearby and had to join the line. Yes, there's a line but it moved quick!I There's no indoor seating. You can order via the kiosk and at the window. The options are endless and almost overwhelming! I really like the concept and that they're open late late (2 a.m. most days). Not that I would ever be awake that late and wanting ice-cream but good to know it's available. The apple a la mode was good. The portion sizes are huge. Even their small size is big for me but I just saw that they'll be coming out with a mini option. I'm good with that. I would visit again!

Alright, this hit the insta locals for a while before it opened. The wife wanted to hit it up after that (consider her influenced). We went on opening day around 5ish? The line was stretched to the irish bar at the end of the road. After waiting in line for 130-145, we hit the kiosk. The options were on their website so they asked you to know your order so you don't doom scroll at the tablet (great call). I got the basic becky and that thing HIT. What a great spot to open in Clarendon and it's open hella late too.

Scoop N Scootery is all over social media but is it worth the hype? Normally we wouldn't want to wait an hour for ice cream, however, we were in the area grabbing a sandwich and didn't have anything else planned so we walked over. There were probably 50 peeps in line when we arrived around 630pm on a Saturday. The line slowly expanded while we waited. 50 minutes later we got to the front of the store where there are 2 kiosks to place your order. You never go inside...order and wait on the sidewalk. They have so many interesting sundaes which is the allure of Scoop N Scootery. We had ample time to review the menu in line and I must say I couldn't really make up my mind because several sounded so appealing. After ordering, we wait approximately 5-10 mins and they call your name. We dig in...wow...tasty....love the combos of ice cream, toppings, whipped cream, frosting, etc. Fire!

We all scream for ice cream! This is a new spot that just opened up and the line is ridiculous. If you're planning on coming, definitely bring a friend who will help keep your company. I came with a gym friend post our workout to give ourselves a sweet treat. It's really close by the Clarendon Metro and kind of hidden down the alleyway near Liberty Tavern. A friend and I stood in line for approximately 40-45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon around 4PM. Their menu is kind of big so the wait time actually kind of helps with giving you enough time to decide what you actually want. There are two iPad kiosk, where you can build your own or choose of their signature menu, which has a lot of items, somewhere also just fun to read through like one was called the demogorgon. It's a window pick up and has maybe two tables for two people each to sit at. There's also a table where they put extra spoons and napkins for people which I think was a smart choice considering how busy they are. They have a lot of sizes, but to be honest there are many is already bigger than most ice cream regular size. I like the concept of having a core to break up the ice cream and it just has a lot of good flavors that they build into each of their signature items. Since this was a pre-dinner dessert, my friend and I shared a strawberry shortcake mini, which was plenty for me because it's still pretty sweet. I still devoured it and under 10 minutes, but that's because it was just too yummy. The cream cheese frosting, red velvet core, topped with strawberries. I'm drooling right now just thinking about it again. It was so good and there's so many flavors to try. I'll definitely be back again.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was just okay. The biggest disappointment was that all of the flavors tasted very similar, none of them really stood out or had a distinct, memorable flavor. I sampled several of my kids' ice creams as well, and they all had the same issue. My kids were not screaming for ice cream. For the price, I expected a lot more. While I appreciated that the whipped cream is made in-house, it wasn't enough to make the experience feel worth the cost. There are several other ice cream shops in the area that offer more flavorful options, shorter waits, and a much better overall value.

I can see why this place is getting a lot of hype right now. If you have a serious sweet tooth then this place will definitely satisfy your needs. This location recently opened and of course social media is spreading the word. They are opened from 3:00 pm to 2:00am. I got in line at 2:45 and a long lined quickly formed before opening. They have two kiosk where you can place your order and a table with lids, spoons and paper towels. It would be helpful to know what you want prior to ordering. The kiosk has the Sundaes in alpha order. They have four different sizes. The mini is plenty big for one person. I found that the ice cream melts pretty quickly and makes a bit of a mess if you are not careful. I got the Garland which had krispy treats and s'mores ice cream and the vanilla frosted cupcake. I will say that I liked the Garland a little bit better. Pack your patience and expect to wait depending on what time you get there. I don't think the hype will go away anytime soon for this place.

OK, I finally weathered the long line today and honestly, I was kind of hoping not to like it so I wouldn't have to deal with the line again. But, I loved it. This is not for people who like things simple. This is for people like me who like things over-the-top. Each sundae has many different aspects to it - whether it's whipped cream, a marshmallow tunnel, a chocolate core, candy, fruit, cake, cheesecake, cupcakes, Nutella, peanut butter, etc. You can have it all here and mix it all together. More is more! It's delicious and I will be coming back. I also met the owner a different day and she is super nice. About the prices - I t's not cheap but compared to other ice cream places around town, for all that you get here, the price is good.

    Get Baked
    Kevin C.

I got the "Get Baked". It was very good and it did fit the description. A bit thicker of an ice cream and could do without the heavy whipping cream but overall solid on a hot sunny day. Line took about 40-45 minute wait and I got the mini, which was a little bit on the pricier end but plenty.

It's opening weekend so the lines are crazy, we waited over an hour and were there right when it opened. But it did not disappoint, it was amazing. I've never had ice cream with cookie dough and a thick layer of chocolate icing on top. It was decadent and could definitely be shared between two people. They had a plethora of menu items to where it was a bit overwhelming but you will definitely be able to find something you like. I like that you order on the iPad, and it's an order and go set up. The staff seemed nice and they were quick with service once you ordered.

    phantomberry sundae
    Elizabeth M.

waited 2 hours in line during their grand opening, so many sundae flavors and I loved my phantomberry one! Staff were very organized and friendly, ice cream came out surprisingly fast

    Linnea E.

Decadent is the most apt description, but in the best possible way! These sundaes are intense and I'd recommend sharing them, even the smallest size. Or taking them home and freezing half for later! The hype for this place has been crazy so I waited for the line to die down before trying it out. You order outside at the self-service kiosk and then pick up your sundae at the window. I highly recommend reviewing the menu beforehand because there are an insane number of sundaes and that's before you get into customizing and building your own. There isn't an indoor dining area so your only option is the couple of tables outside or taking your sundae to go. It was raining when I went which was poor planning on my part since you definitely need both hands free to eat these and with no seating options it was almost impossible while balancing an umbrella. The ice cream and toppings are worth it though and all top-notch quality. The only thing I'd change is skipping the frosting next time, it was too much on top of the already sweet combo of ice cream and cookie dough.

Super long wait for good ice cream... until you see the price. Not worth it. Enjoy your time elsewhere.

PISTACHIO & CHOCOLATE SCOOPS I was skeptical at first esp with this combo but babyyyyy this was EVERYTHING! Both flavors together and separate were delicious and sweet but not overpowering. Perfect match and will definitely get again... maybe even I'll get all flavors lol. Btw I love seeing the NITRO coming out the kitchen aids, such a cool scene. I love the colors in the store, orange spoons and white kitchen aids are so different but I love it plus the aesthetics thru-out the store was cute. The pricing is decent and they have a limited menu of Icecream flavors, milkshakes and even hot cocoa. We will definitely be back especially since they gave us a Punch card so after 10 scoops/visits, you get FREE Icecream.

The staff is super friendly and the place is quaint but has a handful of tables inside and outside. They justify the high price tag by whipping the ice cream with liquid nitrogen in a mixer. Although cool I didn't think it added much to the experience and was little gimmicky. I tried the cookie dough which was solid and not too sweet. My friend tried one of their seasonal flavors (lavender honey) and it tasted like neither. I think they use the same base for most of their flavors because hers tasted very similar to mine and both were good quality. I think the flavors are hit or miss, but unfortunately you can't sample them! I think this place is a good treat, but overall I'm not sure I'd go back.
