Quick service and nice staff. Ice cream was right temperature and texture. Tasted savory.

An empty unstaffed business

The Thai tea ice cream was horrible (it tasted like cardamom. Have these people never had Thai tea before?) And oh look. The business is unstaffed. If you don't want my money, you can have my 1 star review

Tasting platter: Cherry blossom cheesecake, Strawberry Matcha Latte, strawberries and cream, Banana Bourbon Caramel, and banana pudding

YUM!!! Such creative flavors, especially the seasonal ones!! We got the tasting platter (5 flavors for only $11) and it was so fun and yummy. Every single one was delicious, creamy, and not too sweet. The food court is cute and lively, with lots of available indoor and outdoor seating. There was only one server who was doing a heck of a job keeping a LONG line going, so even though it took a second to get through the line, I was impressed with his patience and efficiency. Great fun ice cream spot with flavors you probably wouldn't see anywhere else.

Single Scoop - Banana Bourbon Caramel + Red Bean Almond Cookie

After hearing so many raving reviews about Jubilee I had very high expectations and was excited to finally try it. They offer a lot of unique flavors so my friend & I tested almost everyone one and finally decided on what to order. We both chose to order a single scoop of the Red Bean Almond Cookie. Then as my second flavor I chose the Banana Bourbon Caramel. I was shocked to see the scoop size because Jeni's charges the same and you get almost 2-3x the amount of ice cream. I think all my samples meddled the flavors because I wasn't a fan of my choices after ordering. Overall, I think Jeni's has better flavors and is an overall better value.

Ice Cream

Best ice cream in Ballston area (VA), hands down! The flavors are unique without being 'too weird'--there is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Ube or the Peanut Butter Cookies, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. The staff is always friendly even when the line is out the door. Pro tip: Get a flight so you can try multiple flavors!

This was my first time trying Jubilee with friends and I loved it! The ambiance was quaint and quiet (I did go late evening) with great lighting and decor. The person scooping was well-informed and patient and the ice cream was delicious, creamy, and had unique flavors. I definitely will come back!

Ice cream flight m!

Back when I lived in Northern Virginia, this was always my go-to dessert spot since it was only a short walk away from where I lived to in Ballston Quarter. Casual place located on the ground floor of the building. Lots of outdoor seating as well as indoor amongst all the restaurants there. Usually only 1 or 2 people working the counter during then so service could be a smidge slow when it was busy, but it's worth the wait! My go-to staple flavors was always MarionBerry with graham cracker which is like a sweet/fruity flavor that I really enjoy. But during Lunar New Year they always release a set of Asian inspired flavors that are always pretty unique. In particular, I really love the roasted barley tea and red bean almond cookie which seem to be a staple in those releases. Definitely super unique flavors that remind me of my childhood, that's for sure haha. The owner, Victoria is also a super nice person and have had the pleasure of meeting her a couple times for different Ice Cream Jubilee events. Gotta love and support your local small businesses. Especially an AAPI, women-owned spot! Also a note on cost, pricing is definitely on the higher end of ice cream, but that's just what you got to expect for the quality and uniqueness of ingredients. It's just going to cost more than your run of the mill ice cream shop that just serves vanilla and chocolate.

Cool ice cream shop in the ballston mall food court. One scoop is a decent size but still $6 with tax. High quality and hearty but not the best ice cream you'll ever have. Staff is very friendly and lets you try samples.

You can't buy happiness BUT you can buy (or get a free) ice cream and that's kind of the same thing. Plus, without ice cream, there would be darkness & chaos, and we don't want that! Their flavors are unique and really well-balanced and lighter compared to Jeni's Ice Creams. There are options that are dairy-free and ice cream that features The Pie Shop, another DC woman-owned business! :) After trying different samples, I got their honey lemon lavender, and my husband got Marionberry. They were both amazing and the size of one-scoop? Oh my! I was so happy!! Ballston Quarter has plenty of 2 hr street parking. I visited during dinner time but found a space very easily. Friendly staff and lots of space and seats available inside the market and outside. A perfect place to bring kids or hang out with friends and family.

Peppermint patty ice cream

Had the Peppermint Patty ice cream! Got a single scoop but wish I had gotten a double. Ice cream was creamy with big chunks of chocolate chips! The wait in line was short and the guy was super polite and friendly!

I came to Ice Cream Jubilee after a long day of stuffing my face at Ballston Quarter. There aren't many places offering dessert in the area, so this ice cream shop is in the perfect location. There are options of waffle cones, getting the scoops in a cup and a variety of sizes. I was debating on whether I should get a sorbet or ice cream and went with the latter. I ordered one scoop of the blueberry pie which is just the right amount of sweetness after my large meal at Jinya. This scoop was a little more sweetness than I like, but still tasty. It had chunks of pie crust mixed in which provided a good contrast of crunchiness coupled with the creaminess of the ice cream. The staff were pleasant, the line was a bit long, but overall a good experience. I'll be back and try some more flavors. -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

OMG! I came to this place not knowing what to expect and I've got to say is one of my favorite ice creams spots now. I got the lavender lime flavor and it was to die for! I definitely I wanna go back and try the different flavors... they have so many options!!

We went to Ballston Quarter for the first time and the food there was yum! So we decided to end it with some ice cream. They had a picture menu which helped because it's always so hard to pick! I usually pick something peanut buttery or chocolatey..but this time I was like let me try something new.... I ordered the Marion berry ice cream single scoop..and let me tell u! It was soooooooooo good! Didn't think I would like anything outside of chocolate this much but I would have to order this flavor again. It's delicious! And the service was good too. I enjoyed every bite *drooling as I type* lol

The girls at the front were so sweet and patient while I ask a million questions. I wasn't mad about spending $15 on a beet root latte and an egg and cheese bagel! The latte was so pretty pink and balanced well with a splash of vanilla syrup. My bagel sand was piping hot and the cheese was nice and gooey. After eating you'll have to bus your own table. DIY-ed a sourdough sandwich BLT without bacon, and a Mozarella grilled cheese bagel, and a side of fruit (grapes) and a cup of Ginger Peach Green Tea. The idea of the bagel sandwich actually came from the staff and surprisingly it was great! I wish the sourdough and bagles were larger, though. The grapes were not fresh. The tea had a hint of peach, but I could barely taste the flavor of ginger. Maybe I asked for lots of ice so it was diluted?
