I absolutely love the coffee and the macarons here. You can certainly taste th quality in the patiseries and the coffee, hence why I keep returning. In terms of drinks, I tried the lavender latte and the tiramisu latte which were delicious and served me well when I needed an evening pick-me-up. And I am pretty sure every macaroon is delicious so you really can't go wrong with the flavors you choose. On separate occasions, I ended up sampling a variety of flavors, including birthday cake, hazelnut pistachio, Earl Grey, coconut, rose, blueberry lavender, and coffee. I truly appreciated how fresh and light each taste was, perfectly reflecting the artistry in the making of these macarons. The service was efficient and friendly, and the display case was a feast for the eyes--full of stunning, mouthwatering desserts. I just love the brand because they have delicious drinks and sweets. My favorite is their matcha latte with extra foam. Its hard to find a good matcha that doesnt have a bitter or chalky after taste. Its a little more expensive than most places but its worth it. I love their strawberry cakes . Service is great. No complaints. read more

My review pertains to this specific location since I haven't been to other locations. I LOVED their tiramisu latte and will go back every week for the latte alone. It's rich, creamy, and decadent and tastes like dessert in a cup but isn't overwhelmingly sweet. Next up are the sweet treats and pastries. They are very reasonably priced. They have two types of chocolate croissants: one with an outer chocolate coating and one pain au chocolat. Both were slightly over $3. They also have a milky bread loaf and cakes that I still need to try. The service was quick and the cafe is located in the basement level of ballston shopping center - so it's perfect for grabbing a coffee and a sweet treat before shopping. I'm such a huge fan of Tous Les Jours and so happy they have it in the heart of Ballston. After getting my nails done, I went to get an iced matcha latte (9/10) with oatmilk and a box of 6 macarons. The beverage and macarons were phenomenal and they have a special deal right now for a complimentary bread for purchases greater than $20. Service is quite poor though. There's one person restocking inventory and another running the register and completing orders. It took forever just waiting in line. The location is almost like a stall, in the middle of a food hall. Plenty of seating, but not really a cafe vibe so a bit odd. read more

I'm glad I finally stopped by this beautiful little bakery in the back of Ballston Quarter. I ordered a few things to sample. First off, the mango cake and this was my favorite. It was light and airy cake, and the mango whipped cream filling was awesome. Next up, the strawberry tiramisu. This was also extremely light and airy, mostly whipped cream, and had plenty of strawberry flavor. It was delicious but I found it to be a bit pricey considering the size and the fact much of it was whipped cream. Lastly, the garlic croissant. I expected it to be more savory but there was almost a sweet element to it. In all honesty it wasn't my thing. I'd return for the mango cake, again and again! read more

I would go to TLJ for their birthday cakes in California. Glad to see one opened up in the Ballston quarter! Stopped by to try a slice of the chocolate cake, delicious! Not too sweet, one slice runs 7.50. Not too bad in terms of pricing, but a full cake is more cost effective. I plan to try their mango one next. Tous Les Jours is a great addition to Ballston Quarter! Now I don't have to trek all the way to Annandale if I want a Korean pastry or cake. I stopped by this past Wednesday afternoon to pick up a chocolate cake for my friend's birthday. Fortunately, they had plenty of cakes available, so you could definitely grab one last minute if you didn't plan in advance. I do recommend pre-ordering to make sure you get the exact cake you wanted. I knew my friend wanted a chocolate cake this year, but TLJ only had two chocolate options. I opted for the JUNGLE PARTY chocolate cake (47.00) which had a couple of cute plastic animals (a lion and a kind of interesting looking panda) and chocolate hearts stuck on top as decorations. My friend loved the cake and the animal decorations, especially the panda. I thought the cake itself was a bit dry, but the whipped chocolate layer gave it a bit more moisture. I had requested syrup in my drink, and I watched as none was added despite it being in my order notes. It seemed like it was intentionally left out, which made the drink quite bitter.
