Just the matcha latte, not the bowl!
    Whitney L.

I'm such a huge fan of Tous Les Jours and so happy they have it in the heart of Ballston. After getting my nails done, I went to get an iced matcha latte (9/10) with oatmilk and a box of 6 macarons. The beverage and macarons were phenomenal and they have a special deal right now for a complimentary bread for purchases greater than $20. Service is quite poor though. There's one person restocking inventory and another running the register and completing orders. It took forever just waiting in line. The location is almost like a stall, in the middle of a food hall. Plenty of seating, but not really a cafe vibe so a bit odd.

Wow! This place is awesome. Conveniently situated in Ballston Quarter so you can grab other food to make up a good meal, the service here is awesome and gives a great Asian bakery experience. You grab a tray and paper and use tongs to pick up what you want. They also offer some great drinks like tiramisu latte which I loved. The egg tart was super creamy and fresh!

    Strawberry tiramisu

I'm glad I finally stopped by this beautiful little bakery in the back of Ballston Quarter. I ordered a few things to sample. First off, the mango cake and this was my favorite. It was light and airy cake, and the mango whipped cream filling was awesome. Next up, the strawberry tiramisu. This was also extremely light and airy, mostly whipped cream, and had plenty of strawberry flavor. It was delicious but I found it to be a bit pricey considering the size and the fact much of it was whipped cream. Lastly, the garlic croissant. I expected it to be more savory but there was almost a sweet element to it. In all honesty it wasn't my thing. I'd return for the mango cake, again and again!

New gem?! Appears to be so I couldn't resist grabbing my favorite spinach feta danish since it's so rare to find in Arlington coffee shops. Will definitely return to try more. They had a red velvet bliss latte that sounded delicious

Located in the back of the Ballston quarter food court. Offers a variety of fun coffee and tea drinks, a small assortment of baked goods (macaroons and sliced cake), and full size cakes to take home. I got a large honey lavender coffee for $6. The service was very average. No greeting customers and I watched the person who ordered after me have to flag down someone to place his order.

I needed to grab something quick, and this was the only place open at nine in the morning. I'm so glad I went! The young lady working there was incredibly sweet. Although she hadn't finished making the strawberry croissants yet, I asked her about them, and she made a special one just for me. It was delightful, and I will definitely be back.

    We got 4 macarons

Everything in the dessert case looked DIVINE! We had four macarons and we loved them all: lavender, chocolate, and rose. They were done perfectly! The staff member was super friendly and helpful and we got our dessert immediately. It's in the middle of a food court with plenty of seating options!

    Mango Cloud cake
    Alanna P.

Tried the tiramisu latte and it was so sugary it was kind of difficult to drink. I also got a slice of mango cloud cake that was good. After spending $15 they also gave me a free sweet potato cake which was a nice surprise!

I would go to TLJ for their birthday cakes in California. Glad to see one opened up in the Ballston quarter! Stopped by to try a slice of the chocolate cake, delicious! Not too sweet, one slice runs 7.50. Not too bad in terms of pricing, but a full cake is more cost effective. I plan to try their mango one next. Their takeout boxes are super efficient too, it comes with a handle so no bag needed.

    Strawberry Cloud Cake Macaroon

I was so excited to hear that a Tous Les Jours opened in Ballston! I had heard a lot of great things so wanted to go check it out. I got a slice of the Strawberry Cloud Cake and a Macaroon. The Strawberry Cloud Cake was so good! I loved how it was so light. It really felt like I was eating a cloud. I'm a huge fan of strawberry flavored sweets and thought this piece of cake of was so sweet and refreshing! The macaroon was also so yummy. The people working there were also so nice!

    Crookie
    Jessica S.

Came for a sweet treat. Grabbed a crookie to go! Points off for the lack of direction, other customers using their hands instead of tongs, and the wait at the cashier. This one's at a food court so no words on ambience.

This is my fav bakery but the customer service the rushing the trying to cram everything in my small bag the trying to not give me a bag for my second order and the lack of fresh goods out was crazy. Still the food and coffee will always be good I just won't come back to this location.

Amazing cakes, croissants, and drinks! Small little location but perfect addition to Ballston Quarter. Lovely service too!

Not so much now. Now it is good but not exceptional like in the past. Their pastries are getting smaller and the prices have gone up. There is also inconsistencies in quality, with some items being slightly overcooked. Napoleons - these are about half the previous size. Still very good though. Strawberry eclair - smaller than previous. Also, the shell is consistently overcooked now. Quiches - these are around a third of the previous size. Sometimes they are overcooked and dry. Also, the mixed veggie quiche is much smaller in depth to the spinach one Various danishes (cheese, apple, cherry, sticky buns) - all around a third of their previous size. Still great quality and tasty though Sfogliatella (Italian pastry) - surprisingly, these are larger than they used to be. These are not good anymore though. The filling tastes good, but it's a weird texture now that they make it larger. The pastry shell is really hard and chewy now that they are larger. These used to be the greatest ever. It's a shame. Cannoli - tried this for the first time today. Won't ever do that again. The shell was good and crispy. The filling was a weird color and had tiny chocolate chips in it. You could tell it was several days old because the chips were soggy. Also, they filled it when we ordered it - and they just put a tiny bit of filling in it so we could actually see through the shell. Not good.

Those French tarts with frangipane-all sublime! All the tea cookies were simply butter, sugar, a little flour-simple and delicious! And those fabulous individual pastries were jewel -like in flavor & in decoration. Anytime I would bring a box filled with PbR's jewels to a friend's home, office party or to my neighbors' block party; I WAS THE DESSERT STAR; deservedly, sharing the best with friends. Then a neighbor brought a PbR coconut cake with lemon curd to our block party and I could not finished my slice... thin cake layers, the "buttercream" was not very buttery but sweet & gritty, what lemon curd?! Nowhere to be found, sadly. The Randolph's retired and the new owners are not reading any of those wonderful recipes from the OGs - Chef Mark Randolph, Chef Cindy & their awesome kitchen team.
