It is December 18th 2016 the coldest night of the year. We ordered from this restaurant online and got a confirmation. It said delivery would be 30-60 minutes. After 70 minutes I called and they told me it would be another half hour. At two hours we called again and she gave us the option that she could call the driver on his cell phone and cancel the order but we were very hungry at that point, we told her we wanted our dinners. At a total of 2 plus hours the food was delivered The lasagna was flavorless, and overcooked, the edges of the noodles were black. The manicotti was burned to a crisp. The top of the noodles were black and inedible. Couldn't even cut it with a knife. The sauce was flavorless. The bread was soggy and tasteless. We will never order here again, for pickup, eat in, or delivery!!!! read more

The driver stated that the owner has gotten greedy and cares more about making money so he deliver to Skokie and other far away suburbs and people in the surrounding suburbs have to wait FOREVER...and they also always screw up my order. My boyfriend and I were HUGE fans of Caruso's and were always really happy with the food. Unfortunately, last night I put in two orders of cheese ravioli (with no meat) and there was meat in my food. As a vegetarian who hasn't eaten meat in over ten years this was incredibly upsetting. I called Caruso's and they said they would replace the incorrect order with cheese ravioli and delivered it about 30 minutes later. However this order also had meat in it, after I specifically told them that was what was wrong with the last order! I'm so disappointed that they couldn't get an order of ravioli right, not just once, but twice! The food left me sick and in bed for two days. That's the last time we will ever order from Caruso's again. read more

I tried Caruso's after a friend recommended it to me, and I keep going back. It has the best pan pizza I have ever tasted, and I have had my fair share of Chicago-style pizza. Plus, orders of $10 or more come with a free liter of RC (or Diet Rite, if you prefer). read more

Caruso's Pizza at first was amazing the pizza was delivered hot and on time. There has been 3 errors made and this is kind of starting to bother me because this facility is a neighborhood restaurant. When you try to speak with the owner/manager he is very defensive. Maybe they need a recent YELP review to improve. Caruso's I love your pizza I really do but I am not happy of how my orders have been treated. Strike one- you lost my order I never received it but my credit charged Strike two- You lost my order and one of owners ran to deliver it to me 1 hour 30 minutes later Strike three- The deliver guy showed up sat in front of my building in his car from 2:07-2:15 delivered my pizza which was warm not hot just warm. read more

By far the BEST pizza I have ever had. I've been going there for 15-20 years now. I've had them cater my kids birthday parties and other family gatherings, and everyone loves Caruso's. Sandwiches such as the Cheesy Beef or the BBQ Beef are great. I've got friends that drive from the city and southern suburbs just to come eat at Caruso's. Last month when I was in Chicago for the first time, I wanted to try real Chicago Style deep dish pizza but near my hotel. I didn't want to go downtown so I went to yelp and found out it was the highest rated place around. I went there and found out why. The pizza isn't the cheapest ($20 but comes with a drink) it but it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Since its a real deep dish pizza, you cannot eat its slices with your hands unless you want to make a mess of your clothes so its best to eat with a fork and knife. I did have to wait 40 min for it and the staff warned me ahead of time before I ordered. I didn't mind that, in fact, while I was waiting, one of the delivery men kept me company talking about hockey. I will look forward to visiting there again when I visit Chicago. read more

Dissapointing. Found this place driving by, saw the pizza by the slice sign on the door and decided to try it out and getting dinner home for the fam. I ordered 2 cheese slices to go, and 1 sausage. First they told me they didn't have any sausage slices, I said "ok Make that pepperoni. The guy comes from the back & they tell me they "only have total of 2 sluces left." I said "okkk... make that 2 cheese then." Then the guy comes from the back again, and tells me they actually do have 3 slices left, so he charges me for the 2 cheese plus a pepperoni. Ughhh ok...... after the aggervating confusion, I'm told it'll be 5 minutes, that's fine.... But after15 minutes, it's ready.... I took it home and bit into my jumbo cheese slice, ummm it's partially RAW on the inside. Crust was tasteless, and sort of like floured cardboard? Ick... I was hungry so I ate it anyway, now hoping I won't get sick. Won't be back. read more

Tasty pizza. Ingredients taste really good n fresh... Canned mushrooms? They were good to Ordered a medium with 2.5 toppings. About 16 bucks and came with a 1 liter soda. No complaints except I found the pie to be smallish for a medium. I actually asked if it was indeed a medium. They assured me yes. This is one of the finest deep dish pizza and thin crust pizza in Chicagoland area. We ordered one veggie deep dish, it was really good. I mean really good. I was really amazed on the amount of veggies, cheese, crust, and sauce on the deep dish. All of it was proportionate and very good. The thin cheese for the kids was also very good. They finished each and every slice and even ate the crust, which is something that they never do. We picked the order up and were amazed on the quality. We will be back again! read more

I always love coming to Carusos! They have many good food choices and their good is delicious! I have never had bad experiences with it! However, the reason why I rate it 4 stars is because of one experience. I was at my friends house and I ordered the wings and my friend ordered the cheese fries. My meal was completely fine and delicious but his literally had a piece of glass in his food. He bit it and figured that there was a piece of glass in his food! He found other pieces too in there but other than that it was great. That was very dangerous but otherwise, Carusos is great! read more

Caruso's pizzeria has been around since 1993 if I'm not mistaken, and my family has been going there since around that time. Absolutely delicious pizza amongst many other dishes on their menu and the best costumer service I have ever received from any restaurant. I have recently recommended Caruso's to some friends who now claim that Caruso's has the best pizza that they have ever tasted. Recommend this place to anyone who appreciates food. read more

This review is for the thin crust pizza. After reading yelp reviews, was totally disappointed. Pizza Was nothing like the yelp photos. Crust was doughy hard, sauce tasteless, not cheesy. Dry pie (looks and taste) cut in 2" squares, not moist slice as big as a hand as pictured in one of the yelp photo. I've has better frozen pizza from the grocery store. read more
