This place has great pizza! I've ordered numerous times now. Staff is polite and my food is always on time.

Probably the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. I used to live in the area when I was a kid and moved away and always missed this place! I moved back a few years ago and enjoyed the pizza at least once a month. And sadly now I've moved away and miss this place terribly! The crust is perfectly thin. The sauce is absolutely perfect! Not too sweet or acidic. The toppings were always a perfect amount. Their cheesy beef was fantastic. Cheese fries and fries were always perfectly salted and crispy. The fried cauliflower was to die for! The pastas were always perfect and piping hot when delivered. This is definitely THE pizza place to go to if you're in the area. read more

On a previous reviewer's recommendation, I tried their Italian beef. I'd put this as one of my 2 or 3 favorite beef sandwiches (I grew-up near the original Jay's Italian Beef, which will always be my favorite). If the beef is any indication, the rest of their offerings should be really good - I'll have to try something else on their menu. read more

Their thin crust; green pepper/onions is phenomenal! We order takeout occasionally and the pizza is always good. The staff and owners are very friendly. Personally would not have a sit down dinner; very cramped and not much seating. read more

The food was really good. The food was probably a 4 star, but I'll tell you why I gave them a 5. I ordered a pizza for delivery, they brought me the wrong style, and without any issues or arguing, the manager said they would send me a new one asap. He said it wasn't indicated on the ticket, but still, not at issue. So because they were so willing to right any wrong, I will definitely be ordering from them again! Four stars instead of five because the chick that answered the phone sounded like she wanted to stab me. I don't know if she hates her job or what, but I was so taken aback that I almost hung up midway through the order. She also charged us $2.00 more per item than prices posted on the website. And Carusos has a delivery charge. Plus tip. That said, the delivery guy was great and the sandwiches and thin crust special arrived steaming hot. Generous toppings, perfectly baked, but next time I'll order extra sauce (if I dare.) The family size was definitely enough food for four fat and ravenous adults. read more

Just ordered here. I got a Steak tip dinner and a chicken parm calzone. It was so awful . The steak tips were so hard and chewy I couldn't even bite them. No Taste to it. The Calzone was No Flavor and was falling apart !!!!I read the reviews after and wish I didn't order there. To tell the truth I threw up what I ate so I didn't get sick from it. This is the best spot for go to normal american Italian food. The prices are average and the portions are large, the people are nice and friendly. The delivery is quick. Checked out this place when in Chicagoland last week and convinced the fam to try a new pizza. It got a thumbs up from all six of us. Ordered online and delivery was prompt. Pizza was hot, but not entirely cut. I asked, would you order again and got an emphatic: yes! So this is a crowd pleaser. Not the best pizza I've had, but 6/6 satisfied is a winner. read more

One of my favorite pizza places! I keep getting the thin crust pizza with tomato, basil, and garlic, and haven't branched out yet because it's that good. They're usually nice and generous with the garlic (actual garlic, not powder!), which is fantastic. Ingredients taste super fresh, and the crust is crispy and delicious (coming from someone who usually throws out crust). Delivery is fast, and free soda was neat! read more

Caruso's absolutely has the best thin crust pizza in the area. The crust is a perfect texture - not too cracker-y and not too soft. The sauce isn't super sweet. The amount of toppings is generous. Love the 1 liter add-on. So glad I found this place! read more

A great local place! I've only ordered delivery, and their thin crust is excellent. Last time I ordered, I ordered from Yelp/Eat24 and added a nice tip to my credit card as I was placing the order. The delivery driver made sure to thank me for my tip, and gave us an extra bottle of soda (although that may be free with a large thin crust?). Either way, super friendly, quick, and good food. Best pizza in the neighborhood. Pizza is always hot, fresh and made exactly as I requested. The staff in the restaurant is friendly. The order is ready when I arrive for a pick up. I've also enjoyed their chicken and steak sandwiches and salads. Really good garlic dressing. The delivery drivers are great. When I order for delivery they always overestimate the time. That's a good thing. Caruso' has been in the neighborhood almost as long as I have and I just learned about them a couple years ago. My suggestion is, sincere there are many apartment buildings in the area they should leave some menus. I found them on GrubHub initially and now you can preorder up to four days ahead. First time trying this place. If I could leave a zero, I would. Absolutely, one of the THE worst pizzas I have had. I could have made a better pizza blind folded with both arms and both legs tied behind my back. Where shall I start? Firstly, when I called, the female that answered the phone spoke a mile a minute. She asked me if I lived in Des Plains, but she spoke so quickly, while slurring her words, it took six times before she could make herself understood [so much for public education]. On top of that she was unpleasant. We ordered two large pizzas to be delivered. We waited an hour. Once the delivery man came he had one of our pizzas and a bottle of pepsi [which we did not order]. He told us to call Carusos back, explain the problem and he would come back with the second pizza. I tried calling, I was asked if I would hold. The FIRST hold, I was on hold for ten minutes, hung up, called back, put on hold again, being ASKED AGAIN, but the same girl put me on hold before I could even answer her. They called us back, tried to put the blame on us. She asked if we wanted the second pizza, I said no. She did not say thank you, she did not apologize. She just said "ok" and hung up. Now, on to the pizza. As quickly as possible, I will tell you, the cheese was dry, hard, and tasteless. The crust was dry and hard as well. The one pizza they delivered was a pepperoni and cheese. The pepperoni along with the cheese, would slide off every time we picked up a slice. It was greasy, the cheese was tasteless, as was the pepperoni. The sauce was not tasteless but the flavors were indistinguishable and less than average. Do not misunderstand, the pizza had flavor, average flavor, but regarding the sauce I could not taste the flavor of tomatoes. All that you could taste were the spices. Finely, some man, either a manager or owner called us back and asked if we wanted the second pizza, I told him no. He said, "I am sending the delivery guy over to get the money from the first pizza". I said, fine. He, of course, had no thank you to give us, nor an apology to offer. Just hung up. His delivery boy showed up at 11 pm to collect the money. How rude and poor business is that. Do you think I will return? I can not believe people like this can run a business let alone exist and possess the human abilities to function in normal society. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this pizza was!! I am a food snob, (some people would say?!) and I have been looking for a good pizza near to my home (I live in Park Ridge) and I believe I have finally found one that cuts the mustard!! The cheese was good the sausage even better. I had the thin crust cheese and sausage. I am not a fan of deep dish so I have not tried that yet. Used to be you could get a good pizza anywhere, not so these days. I have two more to try in my area but so far this one is the BEST !! read more

Good pizza, at better prices than many surrounding shops, with fast delivery! Got a sausage and mushroom pizza and it was delicious!

Normally, Caruso's normally delivers within an hour but today it took over 90 minutes to get 2 orders of Jalapeno Poppers delivered. When I called after an hour, I was told that my food just left with the driver. It still took an extra 30 minutes to get my food. At no point was I told it would take this long. I don't mind waiting as long as I am informed about a wait especially when I am hungry. I will order from here again as this is the first time they took longer than an hour. The 1L of RC with my order is always a PLUS with Caruso's. read more
