And even more so, now with this automated system cash is no longer an acceptable form of payment. Quality: I dropped off a skirt that had no stains only to receive it back with a note saying, "we could not remove the stain". Excuse me, but there was no stain until it was in the possession of Anton's. Upon careful examination of the article of clothing the only thing that I could see that could be interpreted as a stain is an area where the fabric dye was now missing after their cleaning process. In fact, the overall color was much duller than when I had dropped it off. So much for the quality I had expected. I would have much rather received a call saying they did not know how to launder the item than get it back in lesser condition. Value: In a time when budgets are tight due to expected inflation one must consider where to spend and where to save. The cost for one skirt came to just over $17. That seems quite expensive for just one item. In fact, in many cases I could just buy a new piece of clothing. Basically. if you do not catch a coupon or limited time deal it is a huge waste of money to get something back that isn't even as good as it looked when you dropped it off. Final verdict: I will not be returning. I will either look elsewhere or take my chances with gently washing items at home. Certainly, I couldn't fade the fabric any worse.
