Unless you specifically ask for faster things are usually ready in around a week and always impeccably clean. I've brought a few items over the years with various stains or dinginess that I couldn't get out myself and they've always worked wonders. To top it off the place is run by probably one of the nicest people imaginable. Prices I'd say are a a couple dollars higher than other places nearby based on what I've seen but for everything else I've mentioned it's worth it. read more

Service with a smile! I needed a couple of hems changed on my new jeans and the staff at Metro were so upbeat and efficient that it made a memorable impression. You don't get such high quality service like this often. The work was top notch and they even matched the original thread so the pants looked like they were perfect. The work was ready when promised and I had just as good an interaction with the counter staff when I picked up my pants as when I dropped them off. It only took a few days! The price was extremely reasonable. I'll definitely be back. Thanks! read more

Though their first pick up and drop off to me was excellent they keep on calling me due to medical reasons I can't use the services but they are good I'd love to continue to utilize their services in the future. read more

The best place to take your laundry and have your clothes clean they fold them nice and neat and the prices reasonable

They were so nice and helpful in fixing my daughters dress. The alterations were done well.

Ripped a hole in a brand new jacket at work and took it here for a repair, pretty decent repair, although not completely conspicuous, the quality of work was there. They did their best and that's what counts. Very happy with the work and would definitely use them again. read more

Great business! Been around for so long and they take care of your clothes with care! No complaints ever!

They did a fantastic job! loved the price and the quality. They took such great care of my cashmere sweater.

Just moved to Salem, MA and have been trying to find my go to dry cleaners and can say confidently, Metro Cleaners will be that. From the quick phone call response inquiring about the prices, time of business, the friendliness, and quick turnaround of your dry cleaning. This place gets 5 stars. Simon and his father Basil helped me. Awesome individuals! Very personal and even gave me a dry cleaning bag. If you are in the area, don't waste your time on other dry cleaners. Metro's in Peabody is it! Thanks for the awesome service . read more

Friendly and very professional. Small family business the kind that is always nice to see in the neighborhood. They treat their customers with respect. Easy street access and parking available in the premises. read more

In response to your note to me your employee told me it would be done on Friday. So I agreed to that. I expected the job to be done. It wasn't touched in 5 days. I took the same coat to another cleaners and the coat was repaired and cleaned in 4 days. I'm sorry I called and upset your employee but I didn't pick the completion date your employee did. So I expected great results and when nothing was done I was very disappointed. And when I say NOTHING I mean absolutely NOTHING in 5 Days. read more

Super friendly service and well done especially for the price! Very happy to support a kind family.

My son needed his uniform pressed the day before relocating to another state - The staff was very nice and accommodating, and did a great job. read more

I love coming here for my dry cleaning needs. The people are so nice and pleasant, they take good care of customers. I don't require dry cleaning too often, but I found their prices reasonable. This place will also do alterations as well. read more

Best kept secret for those of us without washer/dryer at home. This place does a phenomenal job with my laundry (drop off and pay $1 per pound for wash/dry/fold) and my dry cleaning. I did the math and for about what would be a full load at the laundrymat is usually only around $10-$12 here. If you add up what you'd spend on the washer and dryer and add a little bit for your time its a no-brainer. They also fix broken buttons and other stuff for me for free. Great family run business from what it looks like. Always pleasant, fast, and easy to deal with. read more

This place is old school--in a real good way! I'm new to the area and needed a new dry cleaner, and Metro was the closest store to me. I used to go to Anton's, which started to cost more than I thought was reasonable. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I dropped off a pair of slacks at Metro and the charge was only $5.75. They're also very, very friendly (family-owned), and have owned the business for decades. Glad I found this place! read more

Saved my wedding! Literally. I went in just a few days before my wedding to have a few alterations done to my suit that had previously been altered incorrectly at another tailor. Dino took care of everything I asked and was incredibly personable and courteous. The new alterations to my suit were perfect, exactly the figure I was trying to achieve. Their kindness and confidence truly helped ease my stress, which was at an all-time high, as you could imagine it would be just days before your own wedding. Not to mention, I drove from several towns over, and would do so again without hesitation. Thank you! read more

Deff the best cleaner in the area. Family owned and operated and they take pride in their work. Been using them for 6 years for all my cleaning needs as well as tailoring and smaller garnet repairs. They are dependable and reliable for the every week pick up/drop off as well as the last minute "I need a favor" items. Highly recommend!! read more

I've been a loyal customer here for over a year and a half now. EXTREMELY Nice people. Family owned and operated (pretty sure he said they were greek) anyway all if the staff are so helpful and nice. Thanks metro cleaners. read more

Best dry cleaner I've used and I've been to a lot. Reliable, hospitable and inexpensive.

I have never had to go to the cleaners before, but unfortunately I got some paint on my north face jacket. My sister in law recommended I bring it to metro cleaners and I'm so glad I did. They did an amazing job taking the paint out you can't even notice where the paint was. I am 100% satisfied. I highly recommend them and I now know where I will be bringing my stuff read more

I have never been happier with service as I was today. I brought in my leather trimmed raincoat that had a very large stain. They were determined to get it out-I was resigned that I'd have to throw it out but it looks amazing!! Thank you! read more

We came to Salem for a wedding and needed some items pressed/steamed last minute. Every dry cleaner in Salem could not help for some reason (?). We found Metro on Yelp and drove right over. They were very very accommodating and very friendly. I highly recommend Metro, although I don't live in the area, they are excellent. Service with a smile! read more

I sent in 2 Canada Goose jackets that were filthy to be cleaned. We all know those are godly expensive, so I was weary about sending them out. I got them back and they were GORGEOUS. They took such good care of them and they looked brand new. Not to mention everyone there is SO NICE. I finally found my favorite dry cleaning. Now the only question to ask, I wonder if they have wash, dry, fold service? That would be heavenly read more

I had the best experience here today. I called in the morning and talked to the owner on the phone about fixing a zipper to get a quote. Dropped in a while later. The zipper wasn't really broken but stuck. What a great customer service! The guy didn't even charge me anything even though he did spend a good 5mins trying to get it moving again. I was so pleasantly surprised. Great customer service. Will definitely recommend others and come back in future. read more

METRO CLEANERS IS THE BEST!! It is a great family owned business who are very fast, flexible, friendly, and cheap. Whenever I go in I am always greeted with smiles which is very welcoming. I have been going to them for 10 years now and I have never had a problem with their work. There is no other cleaners that do as good as a job as them. They get the toughest and oldest stains out and make my suits look new! Their drop off/pick up location in Beverly is very convenient when I am in a rush on my way back from work. They are always on time with my clothes and sometimes earlier if need. Overall Metro Cleaners is a great family owned and friendly business who are the BEST around! I highly recommend it!! read more

Great place. I am not always as punctual as I should be and wait to the last minute. These guys always take care of me and my cleaning comes out great. Even last minute read more

I have been using this cleaner for about 3 months now and couldn't be happier with their service. I was referred to them by a neighbor after she heard a few complaints about my former cleaner. I recently brought them a dress I needed taken in for a wedding that was 5 days later. I was expecting the worse knowing it would take more than that time to have it fitted to my size but they did everything and beyond their power and assured me they would have it ready for me. The dress fit like a custom made dress and I think I actually got more compliments than the bride lol. Again A++++++ service and quality. read more
