I will never go back to this place. I had an urgent issue and needed some help. I looked on Google for the closest Stealth dealership, and it sent me here. The property looked abandoned when a tall, heavy-set blonde man appeared. His mannerisms came across as go away. I asked him about a trailer we were trying to move, but we were concerned about the tires being bad since the trailer sat for three years. It was a hostile environment where it was located, so I was unable to see the tires to find out the size and how many lugnuts it had. I gave him this information, and he told me, "We don't get involved in those sorts of things." I was just asking what tires are standard on my RV. Then he said go look at Google. I recommend you find another dealership. Carson City Trailers has very low inventory on hand and the business is very poorly operated. I had a similar experience as rater Jim F. this last Saturday. I traveled all day to try and reach Carson City Trailers before closing and called ahead to see if they could stay open a little longer (15 min after closing) so I could purchase a trailer. I did not realize they closed at 2:00pm on Saturdays. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and accommodating and said they would remain open. "Mike" when I arrived was not happy. He appeared very agitated for having to stay. I was there only a few minutes and decided which trailer to purchase. After agreeing on a price he preceded to tell me that I would not be able or allowed to take the dump trailer home that day. He was not equipped to take full payment by check or process an American Express Platinum Card. When I asked if he accepted Visa his reply was "now you can talk to me, but the price of the trailer will be $1300 more". I quickly declined the gouge. I had full intentions of buying a trailer that day but this encounter with Mike made me gladly walk away. I will buy my trailer from a nearby competitor tomorrow. Update: I went to Big Tex in Reno NV 2 days later and they have a huge inventory, excellent customer service and they were happy to take my debit card on the spot. 11-10-18 My buddy and I stopped in @ 1:30pm. Owner Mike greeted us with "I close at 2." Both my buddy and I were looking to purchase a dump trailer. After ten minutes of looking and asking a few questions about his trailers Mike informed us "this isn't my first rodeo you aren't buying today." Mike you were right, we didn't buy from you. Thirty minutes later we bought from your competition up the street. As did the nice couple you shut your yard gate on before they could look at your product. And the spare tire, battery you said they don't include? That was not an honest comment. The doc fees, etc you said they charge. Again, not accurate. To all looking for a dump trailer.
