Absolutely highly recommend Matt! Five years ago he was one of the people that sat on the phone with me to correct my issue and today he offered to do his best to come out and help us with an issue that we were finally able to resolve ourselves. He's extremely responsive and great over the phone. read more

I have a Travel trailer that has a door hinge problem.American mobile sent a tech early. Had great communication. He inspected the problem. Gave me a couple of options. Was very honest in his inspections and pricing. While there,I mentioned my slide out was not sealing correctly. He retimed it for me. I would definetly recommend this company over any major RV/ travel trailer sales and repair. Im amazed,he traveled at least 1/2 hr each way. He did not charge me a dime. Now thats service I would recommend anywhere, anytime! read more

5 STARS without a doubt!!! Matt has over 12 years of experience in RV repair & has been immensely helpful in providing electrical diagnostics. I have a brand new 2021 Flagstaff E-Pro TT which has been nothing but problem, after problem, after problem, but Matt has been a life-saver! I had no lights, no heat (in sub freezing temps), no electricity, no frig, nothing, but he went above & beyond to help me put a temporary fix in place until he could help me resolve it through my warranty. I highly recommend American Mobile RV! Fast, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, & a reputation for going the extra mile!! Thank you Matt! read more

Matt and his crew are the best RV repair technicians we have ever come across. They're always prompt to respond, efficient, professional, polite, and everything they touched, didn't need to be repaired again. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work is extremely high. read more

Matt came out to Silver Springs exactly when he said he would.... He had extra part...that we definitely needed... Went above and beyond to make sure we had our rv water up and running again. He has a wealth of experience and we appreciate him Used him several times and appreciate the quality service read more

We've used American Mobile RV on several occasion and the service has always been excellent. Most recently, our hot water heater sprung a leak (which also took out the furnace main circuit board which was placed below the dripping water heater - another winning Jayco design decision). Matt repaired the cracked water heater connection, flushed the heater and got it back into service - and then went to work on the furnace. He was able to diagnose the problem on site - pull the unit for repair and testing at his shop and re-install the next day. In the past, he has helped us with plumbing (installing a bidet) and replaced a bad water pump. Very responsive to calls and txt messages. Reasonable rates. Strong recommend. read more

I recently called Matt on my dead motor home. While he could have said that he needed to come out and charge me, instead he spent about 5 minutes on the phone with me. He explained to me how to get my battery charged and if it didn't work, he would come out. Viola, and my motor home is running. I hope I will not need to make another call to Matt but if there comes a time that I need to have my RV serviced, I won't hesitate to call Matt. read more

Wow what can I say! Matt and Sean were outstanding, I got a call back from them very fast when I found myself in Carson city having issues with my furnace staying lit. Every other repair shop was booked for weeks. Matt showed up to my RV the next day and diagnosed the issue within minutes. A slight tweak in the furnace and we were up and running better than ever. If I ever find myself in the region with RV issues again, American Mobile Service will be on speed dial. read more

I had water leaking somewhere under our shower area and called American Mobile RV for help. Matt was able to schedule a visit faster than the other places we called and arrived exactly on time for the appointment. As a new RV dweller, I had quite a few questions while he was diagnosing and fixing the problem. Matt was very helpful and friendly while explaining everything. I know hovering clients can be annoying but I appreciated becoming a little more knowledgeable about my RV in the process. The repair was done quickly and efficiently in under an hour. I will definitely use this service again in the future! read more

Matt and his employee were great to work with. They were able to get me an appointment within the same week. Repacked the bearings on our trailer. Diagnose a mistake I made on my plumbing (they neither mocked mistake or charged me for the education) and even suggested a budget way to fix a panel on my other trailer. Was happy to support a local mobile service. My second time using them, they have definitely earned my future business. WTG! read more

Matt was amazing and saved our business! We had issues with our mobile dog grooming van and was out of commission for a few days. Matt was responsive to texts, he was on time for the appointment, and knowledgeable about his craft. He spoke to me in layman's terms so that I understood what was going on and taught me about the issue. He was quick, no B.S-ing around and very efficient. We will definitely be calling on Matt again if anything else happens to our mobile grooming van! Thanks Matt!! read more

I hired Matt to repair our broken furnace and fix a leak in the roof of our 2012 Cougar 30' travel trailer. Pros: When you call, you get to talk to Matt He has great communication by texting or calling before the appointment He was able to do our repairs in a timely manner Both repairs were done perfectly, with no issues or problems afterward His prices are really reasonable He goes above and beyond the scope of just the repair When possible, he uses American made products He is licensed & insured (no worries) He guarantees his work; but we haven't had any problems anyway HE COMES TO YOU!! He worked on our RV in our back yard Cons: None at all. I am happy I found Matt at American Mobile RV. He is honest and highly skilled at what he does. read more

Came out for a warranty repair. Charged $75 for a very quick visit and said an on demand hot water heater is not acceptable for this 'climate'. They sell these all over the world. Lazy and a waste of money. read more

We scheduled an appointment for Matt to come out and replace an entry door handle, 2 vent covers and a cyclone sewer vent on our 32' class A motorhome. I had all the parts needed. We damaged our AC unit getting gas. We drove into Reno on Sunday and called Matt on Monday morning. Their hours are 9-5 however, I called him at 7:30AM and he returned my call before 8. He came by to get a look at the situation at 11AM and gave us an estimate and when the AC would be fixed. It's in the mid 90s here right now BTW. He had us up and running with an improved AC unit by 2:30PM Tuesday and all for under 900.00. He was courteous, professional, early for scheduled appointments, and very knowledgeable. He came to our unit and did all repairs on site which means we did not have to find a hotel that takes 3 dogs while a shop had our home. A+ service and customer service as well. Highly recommend him and would call him in any RV repair situation! Thank you Matt!!! read more

We've used Matt's services twice now, and have been very happy both times. We have a pretty rare camper, and several places in town have declined to work on it because it isn't a typical Jayco et al. Matt, however, has been willing to dive in, figure it out, and get it fixed quickly and affordably. In the process we've learned more about our camper, too--he's been happy to answer our questions as he works, which is a pretty rare trait. He also doesn't typically have months-long wait times before he can be on-site, so his quick response times have allowed us to spend a lot more time enjoying our camper. Highly recommended! read more

Great service. Run by a Veteran who knows his stuff. On time, knowledgeable, professional and affordable. I'll definitely cahh him again

I was very impressed with the service I received from Matt. We bought an RV second hand recently and did not think about having it checked out by a professional or someone who has owned one. We had rented RVs in the past but we were not really knowledgeable about them. I called Matt because I couldn't get the water on. He came to my house and found that I needed a new pump. Within a week he got the pump and installed it. While he was testing the pump he found that the water heater was damaged beyond repair. He knew we were planning a trip, so he bypassed the heater for us so we could at least have water. Soon after, he got a heater for us and installed it quickly. He also gave us some tips and showed us how to operate some of the items on the RV. His prices are reasonable and appropriate!!! read more

Needed a little help moving a refrigerator in our motorhome. These guys were prompt, they knew their stuff, and they did not price gouge. Super nice guys!! read more

I am a new rv owner, and unfamiliar with the ins and outs of the electrical, and gas systems. For the first year, I couldn't figure out how to run my fridge off of gas. Other rv shops had charged me expensive diagnostic fees, but never really helped me. Matt came to my house in Truckee one afternoon while I was at work. Not only did he hook me up on short notice, but he was able to explain, and test out my rig. Turns out that everything was fine. He didn't take advantage of me, since I wasn't there to oversee the work. With reasonable pricing, honesty, and excellent service, I would recommend his service to any other in Reno. read more

We can't express enough how good these guys are. We had a tricky electrical issue and they were on it. Matt is a very honest man and very trustworthy. Also very knowledgeable. He is busy so patience, he gets to you. read more

These guys were great. We made most plans and shared pictures by text message. They were there on time and very helpful. Some monster decided to cut our cables and steal the batteries from the storage unit. They did an excellent job fixing it all, plus were faster than I expected. Price was good too. Highly recommend them read more

My husband and I contacted Matt on 5/22 to come and do a minor repair on our motorhome. He talked to and texted my husband that he would do the job on 5/30 at noon. He was a no call no show. My husband took the day off for this. When we got ahold of Matt by phone, he said he would call right back. We waited 1/2 hour and tried to call again. Matt's phone was turned off. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. We went ahead and did the repair ourselves. read more

I had them come out this morning for a problem with my fridge. He was on time, polite and knowledgeable. I wholeheartedly recommend American Mobile RV Service. read more

I used yelp to find a RV repair person near Genoa, NV. We are on an extended vacation and needed a water heater switch and our awning looked at. I called Matt while we were in San Francisco and asked if he could help us when we got into town. I emailed photos and booked our appointment 7 days in advance ON HIS SCHEDULE! We made it very easy for him and assured him that we had insurance that would cover all expenses. HE NEVER SHOWED UP! He called to say that he was on his way over to where we were were to stop- 5 hours earlier than our arrival time! This was on a Sat. afternoon and so he said he would be there Monday- never showed up! I texted him AGAIN & CALLED - he said he would be there Wed. at 4:30 - guess what - NEVER SHOWED UP!!! He never called, texted or did anything to show that he was a true business owner. BEWARE AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!! read more

We have an older, used rv. I am a retired teacher and have a friend who is also retired. The old rv lets us take affordable trips. We had an odd problem with the rv, the lights were flashing. American Mobile RV came out not once, but 3 times to make sure the problem was corrected. There was no charge the last time for parts or service. He 'made it right' and stood by his word. We are so, so grateful that we will have a pump, and be able to run lights, furnace, etc. at the same time in Yellowstone. Thank you, American Mobile RV!!! read more

Matt and his crew replaced two toilets, fixed a tub and sink in record time. They also did a great job installing two bidets. The price was reasonable and we have had no issues with the work (no leaks). Definitely recommended! read more

I hired Matt to repair some things on my moms rv last week. When he arrived on time as he said he would,he went right to work. He knew what was wrong in a matter of minutes. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He had to order a new water heater and gave me a quote. His cost was very reasonable and when he installed it,his price quote did not change.
