Turns out the people had already eaten and had such a good time they were just hanging out and talking. Colin got Tony's quickly despite being slammed with orders. We were brought water and delicious bread while we looked over the drink menu. He had good suggestions for beverages and dinner. Food was excellent and we both ended up needing "to-go" containers. Kaylin was a fantastic server tonight at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Hilliard. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we sat down. My husband and I both had the Chicken Bryan, and our son had the kids' shrimp, and everything was excellent. You can tell Kaylin genuinely cares about taking great care of her guests. I had an appetizer of calamari. They tasted like they were frozen and then cooked a bit too long. Or maybe they had been frozen too long. Not sure but they were kind of hard. The sauce was good - marinara and a spicy cream sauce. Though I think they would be better to eliminate the creamy texture from the sauce and just make a hot and sweet sauce. I also had a side house salad with creamy parm dressing. It was unremarkable. And the mozzarella sticks are good - large plants of cheese breaded and fried. They taste homemade. Not greasy at all. The pomegranate martini was definitely the star. A bit sweet, a touch tart and lovely fruit taste. Service was ok. We had to ask a couple times for drink refills. The ambiance is more upscale chain. Ordered food for lunch hour yesterday . Service was great, worst Italian I've ever had. The salad was the best part. Alfredo sauce was the consistency of milk. Lasagna was from the day before reheated with COLD sauce put on it. The chicken parm was good. Over all super disappointed but had a new hire with me who I was taking out to lunch. Really enjoyed the experience here. A step or two up from your local OG restaurant. Warm bread served with an oil and spice 'dip' while you wait. Tuscan grilled sirloin was very good. I think Carrabba's is one of the most underrated restaurants in the Polaris area. Every time I dine there it is always fantastic. I usually get the Tuscan pork chop with Marsala sauce and it never disappoints. I also love their Alfredo sauce with linguine as a side. During the pandemic we ordered many times from what has become our favorite Italian restaurant. Recently we have returned many timesand have always been happy with our meals. This location is MUCH better than the one at Polaris in pretty much every way. On my most recent visit I had great service and the food was also excellent. One thing I would highly suggest they do is gut out their booths and add new ones. My party requested a booth and quickly had to move to a table because the booths are only big enough for kids to sit in them. During the course of my meal I saw 4 other parties who were sat at booths ask to move to tables. On to the food. I got the chicken piccata with fettuccine alfredo and I must say it was exceptionally good today. Great lemon flavor on the chicken and super cheesy alfredo sauce. Only things that were meh today were the chicken soup that came with my meal (barely any chicken or noodles) and the coke was a bit flat. But neither one was atrocious. read more

The new happy hour special is awesome. A friend and I sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by the awesome bartender. He explained all of the offerings of the new menu and told us his takes on what he thought was good according to what our likes are. My friend and I got a few things off the happy hour menu to share and they were all fresh and delicious. To no fault of the restaurant, we went on carb overload and quickly got stuffed due to us also getting drinks. The drinks were tasty but not that strong which is not unexpected for a chain restaurant and on top of that it was discounted for happy hour. Ordered delivery. Bag was secured shut and everything was packed with care and was still hot upon delivery. I would have given 5 stars but everything was very salty. You need water constantly flowing in order to get through it. If it was only one thing overly salty then easily would've been at least four stars because there was really nothing else wrong with the food. Portion size for both meals were great, salads were fresh, bread was fresh and tasty (that was the only thing we could eat in addition to the salads). We ordered a starter of zucchini fritte, which are basically fried. The dipping sauce was really good. I got the shrimp and scallop linguine alla vodka for my meal and a Caesar salad. I mistakenly ordered a side of broccoli thinking my dish came with a side, but the pastas don't. I didn't really like the broccoli, so I was even more disappointed to find out it was extra. Oh well. None of the other side dishes really appealed to me. It seems like a weak point in their menu. What a great location!! I loved everything from the minute I sat down until I left! The waiter was great giving us a list of specials. He let us know it was happy hour, which was amazing. They had all different flavors of sangrias available . I tried the peach and blackberry. Highly recommend both of these! The appetizer came in a timely manner and wow was it delicious!! I came back here after an amazing event with Yelp Elite squad. This time my husband and I enjoyed a full meal with their new menu they rolled out. We started off with the mussels, they had a special creamy butter. The waiter of course also brought out the dangerously tasty bread and olive oil they are known for. My husband clearly enjoyed it. From there we ordered our main dinner entrees. I got this seafood combination with scallops and shrimp with their famous garlic mashed potatoes. The dish was good, it had citrus tones of flavor. Thanks to the manager in training for recommending that dish. My husband also enjoyed his three chicken combination dish with of course three different kinds of chicken. The chicken marsala and chicken Bryan are the only ones I remember clearly since he wouldn't stop raving about them as well. Carrabas clearly knew how to meet and exceed our expectations for dinner. The server was a young kid who was extremely hard working and polite. Overall, I give this meal 3 stars. First of all, the complimentary bread is very soft and fluffy and the dipping herbs are yummy. I got the eggplant Parmesan for my meal and the house salad. The house salad dressing tasted similar to Caesar but wasn't my favorite. Also, it came mixed on the salad, and I prefer to mix it in myself. The eggplant Parmesan was lacking in flavor. Toppings included a very basic tomato sauce and cheese. I got the garlic mashed potatoes as my side. They had a slightly funny taste to them and didn't taste like garlic at all. Last Saturday, I placed a carry out order at 4:30pm with a scheduled pick up of 5:45. I arrived about 15 minutes early. Well, after watching a multitude of cars receive their orders, I was still waiting at 6:10pm. Finally, at 6:15pm food was brought to my car. 5 minutes later arrived home and proceeded to open order. We received our entire order, but NONE of the food was HOT! My husband's ravioli that he ordered as part of the TRIO was not edible...smelled fishy and there was no seafood in it. Steak was extremely tough and after two bites, he quit eating. I ordered the Pasta Carrabba...well, where do I begin? Not enough sauce and pasta hard and in a clump. FYI, we spent $150 and I should have just cooked at home. Absolutely worse meal we have ever ordered.
