Great dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Prices on the $$$$ side, service was fantastic from a server named Alyssa. Seating and ambiance was not as nice as the food. Lots of vegetarian app and entree options, including a rich gnocchi al forno which I ordered. The pizzas looked delicious and could easily be split as a dinner for two. Very robust dessert menu with lots of tasty options.

Absolutely delicious! Came in on a Wednesday early evening. Started with a bruschetta special they called Burata. Very good. Had the chicken parm for dinner which was OUTSTANDING. Richest red sauce I've ever had. Daughter had gnocchi with artichokes, also very good. Our waiter was great. Asked for a big red like a nice cab. He suggested the Brecciarola, which was very good. Daughter had an espresso martini, which she also liked. I had an old fashioned that did not impress. Tasted like it had club soda in it. We also got a pair of cannolis to go. Not that good either. They put raisins or dates in the cheese mix that was original, but not tasty. Regardless of those concerns, I would go back again in a heart beat!

Was so excited to try La Tavola after hearing really great things! The interior had a homey vibe to it, with lots of wooden tables and wine bottles to decorate. There are several bigger tables at the center to allow for bigger groups. We had made a reservation, which is recommended since they are popular and open open for dinner. We went straight into our entrees and ordered a mix of dishes, including classics like the chicken parm, along with special items such as the salmon ravioli, pesto pasta, and chicken ragu. They handmade their pasta and ingredients are local, which makes a difference. The texture of the noodles was great and the flavors were not too salty. I substituted the regular noodles on my chicken parm for gnocci and I was so glad I did since the gnocci was chewy and soft. The chicken was cooked well and was tender while having a healthy layer of cheese and sauce on it. The chicken ragu was very creamy with some veggies and braised chicken pieces. It felt like a good comfort food option. We all enjoyed the meal itself and when we told the server it was my birthday, she congratulated me and asked me to choose a dessert. I had heard a lot about the tiramisu so I went with that option. They even put a little candle on the tiramisu which was nice. It was creamy and not too heavy, which I liked. The coffee flavor was definitely more subtle than I was used to. We were ready to pay our bill and leave, and a friend graciously offered to pay for my meal, but we were surprised to find that my tiramisu hadn't been deducted from our bill. This came as a surprise because when my friend had called the restaurant earlier, they had told her she couldn't bring a cake from outside but that they would give a birthday dessert on the house. When we asked our server about this, she matter of facts said that they don't provide birthday desserts and walked away. She then disappeared and we didn't want to cause a scene so we paid and left. However, it was disappointing because we felt like the dessert charge was different from what they said on the phone and it was a reason why we chose this restaurant for my celebration. We would have happily paid if we were told that it wouldn't be complimentary earlier on the phone. Because of this discrepancy and the briskness of our server, our experience was a bit soured unfortunately.

My first choice for Italian in Columbus. I crave this place weekly. It feels like a farm to table concept as they update the menu nightly in every effort to provide seasonal, high quality ingredients. My favorite menu item is the chicken parmesan! The pasta that accompanies the chicken cutlet is a butter and parmesan situation that is the simplest example of deliciousness. Fresh baked bread and olive oil are complementary. The seasonal salads are divine! There's no more than 15 tables and I highly recommend you have a reservation. You can see the kitchen hustle and bustle from any table, almost feels like you're at Nonna's house for Sunday dinner.

A rare 5 star from me.Being our first time, we were seated and immediately taken care of and she was on point! Food was amazing! So amazing that we ate half and then swapped plates so the other could enjoy it. There were pictures throughout the small quaint dining area.

The chicken parmigiano is superb! The pasta sauce was so delicious and had subtle cheese flavor. The chicken tasted very clean. The bolognese was also very good. I loved how thinly they cut the pasta. It didn't feel heavy to consume. The garlic crostini was good--you're not missing out if you don't get it though. Attentive and friendly service and nice ambiance. I was surprised how family-friendly the place is. Good for casual but nice date nights.

This place is THE BEST Authentic Italian food in the city!!! We went to Italy and came back and still think some of these dishes are better than ones we had in Italy! This is our favorite date night spot, favorite spot to bring a friend or share with anyone who enjoys good food!! This place is adorable inside and out and the customer service is top notch! It's a small family owned feel and we would give here once a month if we could!!

We wanted to try a new restaurant and came here for our anniversary dinner. We were not disappointed. My wife had the spaghetti bolognese and I had the walleye off the specials menu. Both were extremely well prepared. My walleye was on a bed of polenta with a topping of mixed vegetables. Great presentation and tasty. Glad I ordered it. This was a great spot to enjoy dinner where the noise level actually was such that you could carry on a conversation. Friendly staff with attentive service. Our server mad us feel we were his only table.

Absolutely love this small, cute restaurant! I've been coming here for years and finally got around to leaving a review. The food is always perfect and the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. The service is great. I would highly recommend getting a reservation if you plan on going over the weekend. They typically have daily specials that are highlights of the meal! My only improvement would be allow people to make reservations online. Right now, you can only make them by calling and since they're only open for dinner, it's limited hours you can reach out. But this is minor! Please give this place a try! Ima least planning to go again tomorrow night!

The space is super intimate and classy, perfect for a slower, more special dinner. The food was so good, you can tell everything is really high quality and made with care. Everything we ordered felt elevated but still super comforting, which I loved. I got the rigatoni which was some of the best sausage/pasta dishes I've had in a while. The service was also really prompt and attentive without being too much, which made the whole experience even better. Such a good spot for a special dinner or date night if you want something that feels a little more unique and memorable. Next time I'm saving a little more space in my stomach for the Tiramisu!

I answered Yes,it's my Wife's Birthday She said Great & Wished her a Happy Birthday. Valet parking right up front of establishment for a nominal price of $10* Nice feature. Sat down & met our server/waiter Egan He went over specials & menu briefly. Then we received our miniscule bread/biscuit as an offering while waiting for our salads that we ordered. Very savory and tasty but small. BTW,as soon as we finished,he took the plates. Just one little biscuit each, like we are little gerbels. ? Egan gave us our water glasses & water bottle. *(First & last time he served us any water)* ‍ Then came our cocktails, my wife's drink was super dry & tart, so she asked Egan if they could freshen it up..."What's Up" & he brought out some simple syrup. The drink was somewhat better, & I finished my cocktail. He took the empty glass & never asked if I'd like another one? He did ask if my wife's drink was better she answered yes. But, no further engagement or query about the drink? Other than like he was talking a survey in order to make the drink better for the next guest, but NOT my wife⁉ Very odd & pisspoor services. This being our 1st time here,we we're anticipating something Grandeur & Services that matches the overhyped & overpriced selections on this limited variety small menu. The ambiance was flat & no music or anything in the background. Just restaurant noise & people chatter. The lackluster & non-enthusiastic dealings from Egan ,our server was appalling. When my asked him something, his reply was "What's Up"?? Areya Kidding me? Are we in a Gym or Dive,Noooooo. We are supposedly in a Higher Upscale Trendy place?? We both were NOT Impressed at all. The Principle of paying a Higher Price for a Higher or Better Experience is relative to the overall experience. Which was non-impressive,we've had better treatment at a Dairy Queen or Bob Evans Again, this was our first & last time coming here There was 2 ladies that actually were very nice & attentive that brought out the salads & main entrée. They were both very professional & kind. Now let's talk about the food. My wife's eggplant parmesan was delicious & she took home the leftovers. My shrimp linguine was very tasty and yummy, just very small portions & 6 shrimp in my entrée. Hardly any linguine, sauce was delicious but definitely NOT a filling meal. Where's the Meat?? One of the two ladies came back & dropped off desert menu...but we declined anything else. Just the bill please. So here comes Egan & I let my wife handle him as she asked him the following. We've heard such great things about this place & we had high expectations & wanted to make the night memorable & special with it being our first time & my birthday. But you seemed less concerned about us & failed our expectations. Then she asked him why didn't you ask my husband or I if we wanted another cocktail*? Also why did you never refill our water glasses? When asked Egan replied again with "What's Up"? In any Restaurant USA a waiter/waitress serves & customarily asks if you like another drink or something else. So before I wrote this review, I asked for my wife's input. She wanted to give this place a One Star But I convinced her that they're was a few bright spots. None of which was our server Egan with his lame uncaring approach to what he thinks is customer service. Unfortunately, NOT a good experience. As a Yelper Elite for 8Yrs now, I've been around the USA & World. I've had countless interactions & quite frankly this place was extremely disappointing. Some places earn their reputation from unsavy or perhaps gullible people that don't know any better. As for Me & My Wife, we are World Travelers & from Coast to Coast have sampled & had numerous festivities & fun....this rates as one of our lowestttttttttt experiences ever

Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... We came out for a quick lunch and you couldn't believe how excited I was when they brought the bread and oil. I made sure to tell the server and tell the manager of my delight. It's worth the whole trip. I don't know how any location considered getting rid of it. We started with salads and then I had Pasta Woozie, and Chris had Chicken Marsala. It was a pretty awesome lunch. Can't wait to come back. This Lennox location has always been one of my favorites and it's earned its keep. Five stars for a great lunch and for having that bread!

How can you screw that up, the cake had the texture of a rubber ball but it didn't taste quite that good The lasagna I don't even know what to say. It just tasted awful. It looked like it was gonna be OK but the noodles were the only thing we're feeding. I scraped all the other stuff off. We got a cheese pizza for the kids. It was so bad that they would need it. These are kids that love pizza and ask for when we were getting ready to order $16 pizza maybe four bites eat before it got dumped. My son got a pepperoni flatbread same thing he ate two pieces. This is a grown man in his 40s, not a toddler if it didn't taste good to him. It didn't taste good. The bread was OK, but it was just plain bread with a little butter no garlic or anything but OK My daughter-in-law ate her far diablo. She didn't say anything. I don't know if it was because it was good or she didn't want to embarrass her mother-in-law. She took the tiramisu home to eat later so again I haven't heard anything so I'm just gonna assume it was acceptable I'm just not happy. I thought bravo was a good place to eat. I have over $100 worth of food in the waste basket and grandchildren crying because they were hungry. I just wouldn't recommend him. I realize taste of subjective, but I subjectively hated everything and I don't want to spend that much money to put in the dumpster again. So overall, I would say start off small and see if you'd like the food before you commit to a big order like I did
