She's great at what she does. She can do what another dry cleaners nearby can't: clean a wool,…read moreleather, nylon combo coat and an Indian saree with sequins. I went to her maybe five times total. I'm giving her less than 5 stars because I think she financially took advantage of me. The first 2 times I went, I had 2 Burberry coats cleaned: one puffer Burberry coat and one wool, leather, nylon Burberry coat. For the 1st coat, she said it was $35 and said I could pay later when I pick it up, which I did. For the 2nd coat, she said she's not sure what to charge me because it'll depend on some things. When I picked it up, she asked if $85 was okay because it was high. I said yes and paid for it. The 3rd time I went, I had slacks hemmed. She noticed my LV bag and commented on it. She talked about how she had Chanel, LV, Burberry, etc. bags and clothes. She asked me where I lived and made comments about how expensive the area was and asked if I lived alone and where my family lived. It's as if she was (financially) measuring me up. She didn't give me a price and said I can pay later, which I did. I don't remember how much I paid. I just know she seemed to withhold the price until after she's done the work. The 4th time I came, I had the purple fabric from my picture shortened by maybe 2 inches max. She looked at my LV bag again. This time, she asked me what my job was, where I was from, and if I had family in the area. Again, she didn't give me a price and said she'd think about it and call me with a price later. She called and left a message asking me to pay $30 in cash. I brought the cash for the 5th time I went... The 5th and final time I went, I brought the white and yellow cotton fabric from my picture on Yelp and asked her to cut and hem them. I bought them from Michael's, and they were each 2 yards long. She said she will give me a price for all three fabrics and that I didn't need to pay for the purple until later. For the white and yellow fabrics, they were each 2 yards long and freshly cut at Michael's and only needed to be shortened and hemmed. The yellow one needed to be shortened the most. She asked for $160 for all the fabrics. When I asked around, everyone from friends to dry cleaners said I paid too much and she was taking advantage of me. I didn't want to go back ever again, but then I had an Indian saree that needed to be cleaned after attending a wedding. I went to two dry cleaners before I came back here. Both of those places said they couldn't clean it due to the sequins. So I went to her again, and again she wanted to charge me about $100. I said okay, but then when I called my sister a min. later, she said it was only like $7 at ZIPS. My sister has the same dress but in a different color. She said the sequins came out fine and they did a great job. I immediately walked back in and told the owner that I'd like my dress back. She bent over the counter and clung onto my dress, like she was protecting a pet. She said "Noo... is it because it's too expensive? Okay! How about $50?" I said, "No, I don't need to clean it anymore." She said, "It's okay.. you can tell me. What's your price?" I was appalled with how quickly she went from $100 to $50. That right there told me all I needed to know. I told her my sister paid $7 at ZIPS. She said that's impossible and that's too low. She asked me if I would do it for $30 or something. At that point, I was pissed. So she was going to profit by $70 off of me? I never went back since. She's nice. She's great at her job. She just might hustle you lol.

She will happily talk with you about your occupation, not just the work you need done in the store. My company I work for uses the shop for all of its employees to have alterations done, free of cost to the employee, and the service provided is top-tier. I would happily get any and all alterations done here, even if it meant driving a bit to get there, or paying a bit extra. Truly someone who cares and looks out for you. That, in my mind, makes or breaks a business. The owner is a gem to the business, and the industry as a whole.
