Fantastic laundry service. I brought my bag of clothes in, the lady was nice, weighed them, gave me a ticket (CASH ONLY) and told me to pick them up a few hours later. In and out in a few minutes and right to work. I walked in several hours later, and the second lady said "no, your clothes aren't ready, I'm so sorry I just got here". LOL. I told her no ma'am, my clothes are already done, I dropped off at 8am (it was 3pm). She gladly gave me my clothes without incident. They were folded nicely, smelled SO fresh when I got back to my hotel I hugged a shirt and smelled it like I was in a commercial, everything clean, nothing missing. What more could you ask for (besides maybe coming to my house and hooking my laundry up at my home!)? The only issue I had was they don't answer the phone. The owner is disrespectful. Came to establishment to wash my work uniforms and my uniform smelled terrible. They smelled my eggs and sewer water. I tried to use another wash machine (spent an extra 3.50) and the uniforms still smelled terrible. I let the employee on duty know about the smell, showed her the two machines I used. At first she stated that it was because of what I used up top and I let her know I did not use it. Then she blamed the softener and I let her know I did not use softener, she then stated to speak to her manager. She then calls her manager and lets me talk to him. The manager was rude. He stated I(THE CUSTOMER) needed to call the water company and let them know about the smell. Then he stated for me to rewash my cloths using softener. I let him know I did not want to waste another $3.50 and another 20 mins for stinky cloth and I wanted my money back. He then said "I must be satisfied if I'm leaving with my cloths." He was very reluctant on giving me back my $7 and kept repeating how he owns multiple laundry mats and this had never happened. Which is crazy because. I'm sure he is lying. We stopped here and did laundry during out time in Washington DC. The prices were not too bad compared to at home. We did 2 full loads for $5 dollars and drying was a quarter per 8 minutes not too bad. The only probably was there was no sink to hand wash some of the clothes as we had 1 white shirt and that is it. For that I am thankful as I've been in some fairly dirty, unkempt Laundromats. This place is huge. Tons of washers in different sizes to accommodate different size loads of clothes and even huge comforters. Prices are reasonable and the cycle time is quick - only 20 minutes and clothes are clean and smelling fresh. I didn't use the dryers since my dryer is still working, but those also were huge and plentiful. The attendants here are really very friendly and they keep this place spic and span clean. One even opened the door for me as I approached with my large basket of clothes. Much appreciated! It wasn't overly crowded on Thursday after work, but as nice as this place is I would guess peak times are quite crowded. At any rate, if I have an occasion to us a coin laundry again, I would head back to Chantilly Coin Laundry with absolutely no trepidation. read more

First time coming to a laundromat today with my mom to clean some comforters. We looked so confused because we've never been to a laundromat before. But it wasn't as bad as I thought. This place is located in the same shopping center as Picante! and right next door to Thai Basil in the corner of the strip. It had a decent amount of people around 12 and started to get crowded around 1pm. Nice, big machines - it was only $6 to get your huge comforter cleaned...alot better than paying $15-$25 at other places. It's very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. My washing machine decided to stop working for the second time this year. While I called and waited for a Sears technician to come by the house, I tried to figure out what to do with my laundry. I had the option of coming home after work, grabbing the laundry, my husband and my kids, and driving 45 minutes to my moms house to wash all the clothes. I told my husband, as much as I love my mom dearly, there has got to be another way. I started the search for a coin laundry online. I haven't used a coin laundry in 10 years at least, so I wasn't sure what the expect. I was happy with the location - halfway between work and home for me. I found the shopping center easily, and you have to squirrel around the back of the strip mall area to find this little gem. They have washing machines in various load sizes ranging from small, at $2.50 a load, to huge - $6 a load. I used two machines at the $3.50 price range, but realized after the fact I could have saved a dollar by using one of the bigger machines. I brought my own detergent, as my kids have skin allergies with other kinds. All the washing machines are industrial front load. You add detergent/bleach/softner to the top through a compartment and the setting are a good variety. They have detergent et al available either through a coin vending machine or you can buy it on site at the cashier. My clothes were clean within 27 minutes. I was shocked because my brand new he machine that broke gets them done in 50+ minutes. I was skeptical, but I smelled them and looked at what stains it got out. Pretty darn good. You can also drop your laundry off and pick it up later at this place. I haven't used it for that yet, but next time my washing machine breaks, I might explore that option. Lots of people in there using the massive washers and dryers for their comforters, and I saw some quilters in there washing large sheets of fabric as well. They have several tv turned on to the Spanish language channels. Also a new magazines and newspapers. There is an attendant who actually goes around and cleans the machines and removes the excess powdered detergent from the tops. Very clean and very impressed. read more

I Samsung dryer that seems to break everytime the wind blows, has me feeling like a "regular" here. I've also figured, it's easier to get lots of laundry done all at once, and if I'm going to have to dry it here....I might as well wash it too! The place is very clean, and the ladies that work here very nice AND helpful. The owner was there one day and helped me carry in my baskets of laundry. He mentioned he owned other locations, one of which I had also been to, but not had as great of an experience. The Chantilly location is wonderful, don't ever hesitate to go. Very nice people and very clean. I think it was a good value. My machine broke and I was waiting for my replacement. I fit everything of similar colors and cold cycle into a 5-6 load machine for about 4.50 and I used the quick cycle ( about 20 minutes ) and they were very clean. I didn't use the dryer as mine is still working. It wasn't very crowded and I went on a mixture of times and day's of the week ( about 4x total). The television was on , one TV had a soccer game and another just regular game show or kid shows , not playing loudly or anything. My machine took quarters, but some really large machines take only (coin ) dollars, but the person in the service window will exchange your quarters or paper dollars for the proper amount, as needed. They do have a laundry service, but I didn't use that. They have bathrooms and vending machines as well , but I didn't use them. They are located right next to a eyebrow threading shop, H Mart and spa world. read more

I have been to several laundry mats and this is by far the best! I have a washer at the house I share, but it only does what I consider a "1/2" load and every cycle is an hour. Here the cycles are only 20 minutes. Also this place is a lot cheaper than other places I have been too. It is staffed and the place is very clean! I had quite a bit of laundry this morning and the attendant helped me inside with it; she even carried my laundry basket! Great customer service! I never had that anyplace else. Best time to come on the weekends is early Sunday morning (they open at 6am). The place starts getting crowded after 9. If someone who works at the laundry mat or if the owner is reading this, please pass on to the attendant that I really appreciated her help this morning (7:30). My massive feather duvet won't fit in most machines so I brought it here intending to use the extra large machines but ultimately decided to take advantage of their fluff and fold service (who wants to do laundry on a Friday night?) I dropped it off in the evening and picked it up the next morning without issue and was pleased with the relatively cheap price ( only $15) However, when I got home I realized that the down inside the duvet was still soaking wet. It's clean but now the blanket is totally musty and lumpy as the feathers are plastered together. Overall, I'm really disappointed. If I were to ever go back I'd just do it myself and be sure that it was done right. read more

Great place! Came in to wash 2 89" sofa slipcovers, ugh! Happily, the place was very clean. The people were super friendly, wheeling out carts if they thought people might need them, holding the doors open etc. Employees were out on the floor helping, answering questions or chatting. Brought quarters but I didn't need to, they had coin dispensers. The owner has a collection of antique washing equipment that is nicely displayed on the walls or in nooks on the floor. This place is great there's a lot of good things to say about it my favorite part is the drop and go. If you're a busy mom or just busy in general, this place is great if you have a lot of laundry I need to drop it off. They are by far the cheapest and most efficient coin laundry drop it and go places in the area. When it comes to my laundry I'm very very very picky in the Products that I use as long as you drop off your clothes with your personal products they will use it. The way they fold it is just absolutely beautiful and everything is ready within a couple hours. It's so helpful and I just love the ladies there.
