I get to catch up on email and Yelp reviews. The machines range from small to extra large. They use a card system for payments. I have not been to a laundromat in years, but due to a broken washer, needed a place to go. Mama's had good reviews, so I filled a few bags with dirty clothes and off I went. First off when you walk in, you are impressed by the size, maybe a hundred or more machines. You will also notice how clean it is. Bring cash, you will need it, there is also an onsite ATM machine. You use cash to buy a refillable Mama's card (like metro card) to use on the machines. Washing machines in the middle, dryers along the walls. You pay according to the size washer you choose. Rookie mistake, I chose the largest one, and paid the most, but not even halfway filling machine with clothes. You can buy detergent there, fabric softeners, etc. Dryers are by weight, so you can a machine fro 35 pound loads and ones up to 83. You are charges 24 cents for each dryer 5 minutes. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks as well as some games. The free wifi is smoking fast, and plenty of tables to sit at. As far as the chore of doing laundry, this place can't be beat....I'm in no hurry to get my washer repaired now : ) read more

This place was a huge help during my three-week work assignment - so convenient and great at what it does. I dropped of my clothes here four times over three weeks, and every time they were ready within a couple of hours. The staff did a great job at folding my clothes and packaging them neatly for pickup. You pay by the pound here, and it is worth every penny. read more

What a great laundromat: clean, spacious, lots of tables and carts, friendly staff who were willing to answer questions and help out. Lots of what looked like fairly new washing machines and dryers, VERY few of them not working. Felt like it was in a safe location. I would happily come back here. (I was doing laundry for tour staff for an event I was involved in over five days and was there all of those days. My group were doing 15-50 loads per day, and there was plenty of space and machines to accommodate that and us being there for hours at a time. There's a tienda and places next door to eat and get snacks if you need. In the end, one of my helpers forgot a couple of things in a dryer that they discovered and held for us so we could get someone to get it back. Customer service above and beyond what might be expected in our current world!) The only downside was the machines only take a card that you charge on the machines on the wall, and there is no refund if you put too much on the card that you don't use. Those machines do not take change or credit or debit card--only cash, so be warned. I generally prefer machines with quarters since you pay for what you get, but if that was the only downside of this laundromat, I'm still going to go there again as my first choice. read more

It doesn't get any better than 5 stars! When I discovered a problem with my washer and when I realized I had over 10 loads of laundry, my immediate response was an efficient method: Laundromat!!! Thanks to a few yelpers, I discovered this clean, brand new, and super huge laundromat in the heart of Leesburg Business. They are in the Del Rio and Wells Fargo strip mall. Parking is an open lot but if you have tons of laundry then park near the sidewalk that allows you to push the free carts up a ramp. They use a strip card payment method. You have to use cash to fund the card. But the machines are very intuitive and you can check your balance and add funds as needed. There are several types of machines from small ones to super huge ones. I washed loads and loads of kids clothes as well as a few comforters. The price of the machines range from 3.75 to 9.99 depending on the size of the machine. Drying costs about $.25 a session depending on the size of the machine. I think I averaged about 1.50 to 2 dollars to dry my clothes. There are snack machines and they sell detergent if you forgot yours. Yes I forgot mine. They have free FAST WiFi and lots of sitting tables. Really a great place in my opinion. Using this place seriously saved me HOURS of laundry time. read more

This place is amazing. With four humans and two dogs, sometimes the laundry just gets overwhelming. When that happens, I call Mama's. I leave a huge laundry bag on my front step and, voila, 24hrs later (or less!), I have well organized, clean, folded laundry returned to me. All I have to do is put it away. We've done the wash and fold services at drop off laundromats, but this is so much more convenient and reliable. Sometimes I feel guilty paying someone to do my laundry when I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself, but the rates and convenience are worth it. I have been to this laundromat twice. First time everything went off without a hitch. My second visit did not. I left sheets and bath towels for the staff to launder and picked them up the next day. I was missing 6 bath towels. I called the establishment and told them what happened. They said they would look for the towels. After a few minutes, they told me they didn't see any unclaimed towels. I couldn't prove the towels were lost because items are not counted individually just weighed. I was very disappointed, I thought I had found the right laundromat for me. In general it's pretty clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, I have met all of them considering how frequently I am here. The only thing I dislike is you have to load up your laundry card with cash. First visit to wash a king sized down comforter and four sleeping bags. The cashier was so friendly and helpful and showed us how to turn on the machines when we told her it was our first visit. Machines are fast too - only 25 minutes for wash and another 25 for dry! You have to bring cash to load onto a card. This place is excellent in almost every way. Unfortunately, the fluorescent tube lights overhead are always blinking, almost like strobe lights, and this nearly gives me a headache. The wifi connection hasn't been working well lately, which has been disappointing because this is one of the features that attracted me here in the first place. On the plus side, this place is big and clean and has new machines that clean clothes very well. There are always machines available, including very large ones, and the always available large carts make it easy to move clothes from the washers to the dryers. Our dryer broke/died! And unfortunately, our laundry room at home is petite requiring a retrofit/redesign before we can install a new dryer. So our problems - problem No. 1: clean clothes drying outside in an HOA neighborhood - prohibited! Problem No. 2: how to dry the cleaned clothes? Thus, after an internet search - we found Mama's. We were so happy! Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, a clean and inviting environment, tables to sit at and relax, many folding stations, many carts, and a very helpful and attentive staff. You purchase and load a card with cash to use at the many dryers and washers (Electrolux) - drying cycles are 5 minutes at 25 cents per each drying cycle. But wow - those dryers worked. In 25 minutes (5 cycles) a towel load, sheets and various clothing were dried and ready for folding. If you ever find yourself in need - try Mama's. read more

This place is clean and i really like coming here. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because they never have paper towels in the bathroom or to use to clean up any mess you made. Also, because the first couple of times I started coming here, I was still getting the hang of using these machines. I didn't realize they were set at an extra wash and it charged me extra. When I told the lady she wasn't even willing to return the money and got an attitude. I tried to explain to her I wasn't aware the button was selected, she brushed me off and did not return my money and I had used 4 machines. Now that's the first thing I do before starting machine, I check if it's on regular wash. Other than that, it's good place. read more

This is a very nice, clean and friendly environment. I have always used the other laundry mats but they do not compare to this one. The owners are very nice and friendly and are always offering a helping hand. Im not going to lie it is much easier with the card than it is carrying a bunch of quarters! A few cents more but is worth it! Has a lot of space and tables to fold your laundry. Also, it has an area with tables and chairs to sit and have a snack.
