It's been a while since our visit. A few updates. The handy laundromat has automated their wash cards and machines. Yes, welcome to the digital world. I had a few old cards with some money left. A simple swap via the machine presented me with new technology. A staff member was very patient in showing me how to use the new machines. The variety of machines was very helpful. We had some lathe comforters and divers that needed a full wash and dry. Prices on the washers went up a bit but dryers stayed the same. The location did seem a bit worn. Could have been an off day but tables needed cleaning and there seemed to be quite a few broken machines. read more

Mama's saved the day for me! My washing machine broke and laundry still needed to be done. I dropped off two baskets of dirty laundry and two hours later picked up cleaned, folded clothes! I have used their service many times since! King-size comforter! Easy Peasy! I highly recommend them! read more

I explained that there reader wasn't visible, so I couldn't see what temperature i was washing my work clothes in. I put my han in because she seemed confused. She got her coworker who spoke English. Told me it was warm..even though i put my hand in and felt nothing but cold water. They walk away. I watch it. Did NOT bubble at all. I put over a cap and half in. When I wash my clothes in cold, they dont bubble. I asked for a refund and she told me no. Also, they dont clean their machines. There was a ball of leftover bright blue cheap laundry soap before I washed my clothes I grabbed it out. Horrible customer service and half the machines dont work. Besides they are doing other people's laundry so when you come in on a Monday thinking..oh..nobody will be there..but all the dryers are in use for the lazy people who need other people to do their laundry read more

This place started off great, but has no kind of fallen apart. Most of the machines are broken. The few that aren't are taken up with people that are dropping off and the staff is washing them. Same with the dryers. Several of the lights are burnt out or flashing. The toilet in the women's handicap saw is still loose and wobbling. Good news is, is there a gambling machines are up and running perfectly. read more

2nd time coming to this location. Operating hours claims 6:30 on Saturdays so coming from out of town I showed up at 6:30 to get my clothes knocked out before starting my day. It's 6:44 AM on a Saturday morning and I've been standing out front for 15 minutes. Doors locked, lights off, one other customer has come and gone and I'm just standing here like read more

Yes, I am sitting in a laundromat. This Leesburg gem is our family's go-to for large rugs. We have been coming here for years. It's very clean. I have a table to sit at and relax. I get to catch up on email and Yelp reviews. The machines range from small to extra large. They use a card system for payments. Some machines are sensitive so adding money to the drying cycle can get irritating. The whole lace is clean and lots of staff are ready to help. read more

Really nice laundromat. The staff were great, too. Clean, spacious with plenty of machines.

I have not been to a laundromat in years, but due to a broken washer, needed a place to go. Mama's had good reviews, so I filled a few bags with dirty clothes and off I went. First off when you walk in, you are impressed by the size, maybe a hundred or more machines. You will also notice how clean it is. Bring cash, you will need it, there is also an onsite ATM machine. You use cash to buy a refillable Mama's card (like metro card) to use on the machines. Washing machines in the middle, dryers along the walls. You pay according to the size washer you choose. Rookie mistake, I chose the largest one, and paid the most, but not even halfway filling machine with clothes. You can buy detergent there, fabric softeners, etc. Dryers are by weight, so you can a machine fro 35 pound loads and ones up to 83. You are charges 24 cents for each dryer 5 minutes. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks as well as some games. The free wifi is smoking fast, and plenty of tables to sit at. As far as the chore of doing laundry, this place can't be beat....I'm in no hurry to get my washer repaired now : ) read more

My washer & dryer broke and I was headed out of town so I dropped off my laundry for the wash & fold service. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. It was affordable and amazingly clean and cared for. read more

This place was a huge help during my three-week work assignment - so convenient and great at what it does. I dropped of my clothes here four times over three weeks, and every time they were ready within a couple of hours. The staff did a great job at folding my clothes and packaging them neatly for pickup. You pay by the pound here, and it is worth every penny. read more

What a great laundromat: clean, spacious, lots of tables and carts, friendly staff who were willing to answer questions and help out. Lots of what looked like fairly new washing machines and dryers, VERY few of them not working. Felt like it was in a safe location. I would happily come back here. (I was doing laundry for tour staff for an event I was involved in over five days and was there all of those days. My group were doing 15-50 loads per day, and there was plenty of space and machines to accommodate that and us being there for hours at a time. There's a tienda and places next door to eat and get snacks if you need. In the end, one of my helpers forgot a couple of things in a dryer that they discovered and held for us so we could get someone to get it back. Customer service above and beyond what might be expected in our current world!) The only downside was the machines only take a card that you charge on the machines on the wall, and there is no refund if you put too much on the card that you don't use. Those machines do not take change or credit or debit card--only cash, so be warned. I generally prefer machines with quarters since you pay for what you get, but if that was the only downside of this laundromat, I'm still going to go there again as my first choice. read more

This place is amazing. With four humans and two dogs, sometimes the laundry just gets overwhelming. When that happens, I call Mama's. I leave a huge laundry bag on my front step and, voila, 24hrs later (or less!), I have well organized, clean, folded laundry returned to me. All I have to do is put it away. We've done the wash and fold services at drop off laundromats, but this is so much more convenient and reliable. Sometimes I feel guilty paying someone to do my laundry when I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself, but the rates and convenience are worth it. I get several hours back in my week and don't have to fold *anything.* Worth it! read more

I decided to give them a try and take a break from going to the laundry mat since I don't have a washer and dryer. I chose to use them for Wash & Fold service. They were on time for pick up and delivery, clothes were perfectly folded and smelled great! Definitely will use again! read more

I have been to this laundromat twice. First time everything went off without a hitch. My second visit did not. I left sheets and bath towels for the staff to launder and picked them up the next day. I was missing 6 bath towels. I called the establishment and told them what happened. They said they would look for the towels. After a few minutes, they told me they didn't see any unclaimed towels. I couldn't prove the towels were lost because items are not counted individually just weighed. I was very disappointed, I thought I had found the right laundromat for me. Check your items before you leave the bldg. read more

In general it's pretty clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, I have met all of them considering how frequently I am here. The only thing I dislike is you have to load up your laundry card with cash. It would be much more convenient to have a credit card method. Otherwise I am happy with this place. read more

First visit to wash a king sized down comforter and four sleeping bags. The cashier was so friendly and helpful and showed us how to turn on the machines when we told her it was our first visit. The place is huge and bright and clean. The WiFi is strong and there are televisions located around the room. I still have winter coats and a few quilts that need washing so I will definitely be back! read more

I was a first time customers at Mama's Laundromat in Leesburg a few days ago to wash my comforter. I was at awe when I saw how big and clean the place was. I have not been in a laundry mat for years and did not know what to do. Ruth, an employee, asked if she could help me. Ruth was amazing, and was happy to help and show me what to do. She was patient, and courteous. I will definitely be going back to Mama's Laundramat. read more

What a gem. It's spring cleaning time and that means blankets, pillows and other large items need to go to the industrial sized front loaders. This place is spotless. Machines are state of the art. Highly recommend. read more

They never open in time it's supposed to open at 6:30am, I was there at 7:00 and it was still closed, I waited until 7:30 and still no one showed up. If I was an hour late for work, I'd get fired! They lost me as a customer! I've been going there since they opened in 2019 so sad and horrible customer service read more

Good place for fast laundry services. If you need full service they also will clean and dry for you.

My washing machine broke, so I drove down the street to this brand new place. So clean and very friendly. I washed a huge load for $6 for a hot water wash, and drying is only $1 more. Machines are fast too - only 25 minutes for wash and another 25 for dry! You have to bring cash to load onto a card. They have very large washers - which I may come back to do comforters even when my washer gets fixed :-) read more

Since my original review which was just okay, the owner and staff really have bumped up their A game. I appreciate that so much when a company accepts constructive criticism and doesn't get defensive; instead they treat them with kindness, which is why I'm updating my review from 3 to 5 stars! I am currently eating my humble pie!! :/ read more

We were looking for a full service wash and fold as our washer and dryer were on the fritz. Came across mamas laundromat and were immediately blown away at the quality and speed of their service! We will continue to go back after our machines are replaced! Highly recommended! read more

This place is excellent in almost every way. Unfortunately, the fluorescent tube lights overhead are always blinking, almost like strobe lights, and this nearly gives me a headache. The wifi connection hasn't been working well lately, which has been disappointing because this is one of the features that attracted me here in the first place. On the plus side, this place is big and clean and has new machines that clean clothes very well. There are always machines available, including very large ones, and the always available large carts make it easy to move clothes from the washers to the dryers. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. It is definitely the best place in the area to wash clothes. read more

Our dryer broke/died! And unfortunately, our laundry room at home is petite requiring a retrofit/redesign before we can install a new dryer. So our problems - problem No. 1: clean clothes drying outside in an HOA neighborhood - prohibited! Problem No. 2: how to dry the cleaned clothes? Thus, after an internet search - we found Mama's. We were so happy! Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, a clean and inviting environment, tables to sit at and relax, many folding stations, many carts, and a very helpful and attentive staff. You purchase and load a card with cash to use at the many dryers and washers (Electrolux) - drying cycles are 5 minutes at 25 cents per each drying cycle. But wow - those dryers worked. In 25 minutes (5 cycles) a towel load, sheets and various clothing were dried and ready for folding. If you ever find yourself in need - try Mama's. read more

Very clean as well as very helpful and nice employees! First experience at a laundromat and it was a great experience. Went to wash a comforter in a large washer and it worked out well. $10 to wash and dry the comforter. Will definitely return when I need to wash the comforter again. Thanks for a great experience. read more

It was very clean and bright inside. I brought in a king comforter to be washed and it was done the same day.

This place is clean and i really like coming here. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because they never have paper towels in the bathroom or to use to clean up any mess you made. Also, because the first couple of times I started coming here, I was still getting the hang of using these machines. I didn't realize they were set at an extra wash and it charged me extra. When I told the lady she wasn't even willing to return the money and got an attitude. I tried to explain to her I wasn't aware the button was selected, she brushed me off and did not return my money and I had used 4 machines. Now that's the first thing I do before starting machine, I check if it's on regular wash. Other than that, it's good place. read more

I am always so impressed with this laundromat. They do such a wonderful job at keeping it clean and tidy. Love this place!

This is a great laundromat. Everything is very clean, the entire store is well lit, and they have lots of big TV's to keep you entertained while your clothes wash. They also have plenty of tables to fold your clothes at, a mini store to buy laundry supplies, and vending machines. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well! read more

This is a very nice, clean and friendly environment. I have always used the other laundry mats but they do not compare to this one. The owners are very nice and friendly and are always offering a helping hand. Im not going to lie it is much easier with the card than it is carrying a bunch of quarters! A few cents more but is worth it! Has a lot of space and tables to fold your laundry. Also, it has an area with tables and chairs to sit and have a snack. Overall its a great experience to come here to do your laundry! read more
