Service has been ok during our 3 years of patronage. Then, out of the blue, they decided to start charging extra for tall shirts (yes I am 6'5"). What is a bit bazaar is that the only difference between a regular shirt and a tall one is an extra inch in the body and sleeves. So, what is the additional cost to justify the up charge? Ten cents? But hey, businesses are allowed to charge whatever they want, of course, and, in the end, they kind of did me a favor. After I quit them, I found an excellent dry cleaner nearby (University Cleaners). Better service, no discriminatory up charges for tall people. read more

I drive a little farther away from my house, past two other dry-cleaner shops, in order to come here to Ashburn Cleaners. Their prices are significantly lower than the places close to my house. It's like $2.50 per shirt at the place near my house, and it's like $1.50 per shirt here. They do a good job and return the clothes pretty quick. The staff are friendly and professional and quick. In the parking lot, they have a few "20 minutes or less" quick errand type parking spaces right in front of the Ashburn Cleaners, so I can usually pull into one of those, run in, grab my clothes, and get out. Even so, you'll still see idiots who think it's okay to park in the fire lane right in front of the store to go in and pick up or drop off their dry cleaning. read more

I used to love coming here, but things have changed. EVERY TIME I bring my shirts here almost half of them are missing buttons somewhere. Either on the collar, sleeve, or down the front. This is extremely annoying. Every morning I have to sit there and make sure that my dress shirts have all their buttons! Going back to have this fixed is also a hassle since I can't use the shirt for that week and I essentially have to make two trips to get my shirts cleaned. I have used their services many times for cleaning items like silk rugs, down comforters, womens suits, and they replaced a zipper for me. They do an outstanding job. I highly recommend all their services. I wont go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and professional. They are nice to my kids. When they get a rush of people, they get people in and out. took a cushion cover to get some small spots out. They spilled some cleaner or some other liquid on it. They tried to blame me for the spill. I noted that she never indicated a large stain on the ticket. She still tried to make excuses that it wasn't them. To add insult to injury they charge $42 for there service. read more

Long story short: They ruined clothing I took to get tailored then fought me when, as requested, I replaced the clothing with the same quality (bought on sale) and submitted the receipt for reimbursement. This process took two months to get sorted out and in the end I still paid full price for the tailoring. read more

I have been taking my clothes to this place for years. The male owner knows my phone number when I walk in. They do good alterations also. If you need your clothes fast he will do them next day if you get them in early. If they try and make you pay cash for less than $10 just tell them if you want my business ten take my card. DO NOT GO HERE. Completely overpriced, takes time. Does not listen. I had a hem (for a dress I bought for $40) and asked to get a one inch hem. I had previously had gems for jeans done for $15. When I looked at the price as we were leaving it was $45!!! When I went in the next day they were open to confirm the price they said it was already done, that's how much it costs and I should have said something then. While I should have looked at the note when leaving it looked like it said $15. When I called no one answered. I took a very expensive silk suit to be cleaned. The day I picked it up, I was on my way out of town to a wedding. The jacket had the same previous coke stains on it and the skirt had the same wrinkles on the seat from sitting. They did offer to re-clean it, but I could not wait. I went to pick up the groom in Vienna. We stopped at his cleaners and they steamed out the stains and wrinkles in five minutes. Sorry, but once burned and bad service will keep me away forever. I prefer to use a cleaner with on site cleaning for this very reason. read more

I have been using this cleaner for about two years and have yet to encounter an issue. I have brought clothing, duvets, comforters, shower curtains, etc. Prices are reasonable and turn around time is usually two days, although they do offer same day service. read more
