Service is always excellent, walk up or drive-through. They are always pleasant. And the dining room room is always clean.

Their food is good, but their soda machine mix is off, and always has been. The last time I went, I took a sip at the drive thru and nearly spit it out. Tasted like just soda water with a little bit of syrup. I told the lady this, and she just starred at my in silence. " waited for me to say" nevermind. Like she knew, but also knew she wasn't going to do anything about it. They don't care and are purposely doing it. My guess is they can stretch a box of syrup longer. Well I believe this to be false advertising, as they are advertising that they sell actual coke products, and they do not. If you care enough about your drink, or don't want to waste your money, go to the other CJ in town, off of 6th street. They are 100 times better in all regards. read more

Stopped by Saturday for a early morning burger. I have to mention the worker who was handling the drive thru that morning. His name was Ramon and over the speaker he had the friendliest voice I had heard in a long time. Terrible terrible terrible. My wife and I both got food poisoning from this Carl's Jr. we shared the same thing so we both got it. We think we got it from there fries. They where cold/warm. Some pieces where cold and some where semi warm. I almost turned around and was going to ask for fresh fries. I should have!!! I like Carl's Jr. Its a pretty decent option for fast food I think. My all time favorites have always been the Western Bacon Cheeseburger and the fried zucchini with the ranch sauce to dip. Yum! But I also like the healthy grilled chicken salad. So I alternate depending on my mood. I've been to this place in particular a handful of times. They do a decent job overall. Food is served quickly and its always as expected taste wise. I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in the mood for some of those delightful fried zucchini! read more

I stopped at Carls Jr this morning on my way from Central Oregon to Crescent City. This was the nicest cleanest restaurant I have ever been in ever. It was so spotless you could have eaten off the floors. The bathrooms were even spotless. I was so impressed I even thanked the staff. And the food was good. And I was hungry I had left early and hadn't bothered with breakfast. If I am in Grants Pass again or have friends going there I am going to highly recommend they find there way here. The girl that seems to be in charge is behind the counter barking orders while she just stands there. With all this yelling going on you'd hope the service would at least be speedy. When I arrived in Grants Pass two months ago to stay at the Holiday Inn Express, I was greeted the next morning by a 'complimentary breakfast' at the hotel that consisted of frozen eggs, sausage patties, biscuit-resembling breads, and a gravy that could cause brain damage. Within minutes after sampling this less than exquisite fare, I knew I had to take swift action or suffer each morning with a disgusting aftertaste that would eventually consume my body. Being a very capable hotel room cook with my crockpot, George Foreman grill, utensils, and microwave, I considered creating my own morning splendor assisted by the four remarkably large grocery stores within walking distance. But, I didn't do that because...I did the right thing! And the right thing consisted of 60 consecutive days of an exquisitely delicious, perfectly prepared sausage biscuit - accompanied by the smiles, greetings, and laughter of the friendly, upbeat team members of this Carl's Jr. My mornings rocketed off to an incredible start each day. I felt good, felt happy, and looked forward to my next trip to the Carls Jr. version of Breakfast Paradise. Update 9/2/2017: They have fixed the soda! Stars increased, because their burgers are delicious and the cris-cut fries are amazing. Now they are officially my favorite fast food burger joint. Every time we have gone in we have enjoyed the food. The Famous Star is my all time favorite fast food burger, knocking the King out of the top slot. They are fast and efficient and keep the inside dining area very clean. The outside's upkeep is very good too! I haven't branched out on the menu so my only experience is with the Famous Star and their fries. Fries aren't bad, but it's definitely the burger that draws us here. My reason for only 4 stars is because of the soda. The machines need to be adjusted as we always get more carbonation than actual syrup. We have begun passing on the sodas as we only ever got 2 sips in before giving up. So if this were fixed, they would get a full five from me. One of the better fast food places in town. So if traffic from Winco & Panda aren't too bad and you're looking for a fast, good, bite, I'd recommend this place. read more

Pulled in off the freeway for a quick meal. Carl's Jr. usually has some of the better quality fast food but this one didn't. The burger was dry and luke-warm like it had been left under a heat lamp for 1/2 an hour. The bacon was rubbery and the bun was soggy. I took 2 bites and threw it away. Understaffed. The woman that took my order looked extremely stressed. There was maybe four cars in line. I ordered inside. 15 minutes later still no order up. I asked what the hold up was and she said she was way to busy and couldn't do it all. I feel bad for her but this shouldn't be an issue. They get the special order right every time. We have eaten there a couple times a month since they opened. I prefer this restaurant over Jimmy's for burgers any day. Always had fast, friendly service. Food is juicy and hot. Also, the N. end Carls Jr. is a very different experience. I love the personnel in this Carl's Jr location! They are always cheerful, and seldom make mistakes. The manager always pitches in, doing the same work as his employees. I have seen him clean tables, deliver orders, stop and chat with customers, take orders, and serve at the drive up window. Ordered street tacos again this time with a taco salad I got steak salad and mom got beef as usual tacos were outstanding fresh salsa bar to boot the taco salad took a little longer but when it came it was a super fresh shell way fresher than full service Mexican restaurants anywhere I've been too. All for 5.59 and 4.99 amazing. Also got a free cookie for the wait. Definitely a great fast food place to stop. Also try the big Carl combo for 5.50 it blows the Big Mac outta the ocean. read more

Yes, the order person stated my order back to me then totally ignored my attempts to get a response from her. (6:00 pm shift on Sept. 14, 2014) With a smirk I was informed of this at the pick up window, and, oh they seemed happy to tell me they don't get paid $15.00/Hr. What's up with that?? Show of hands: If you hadn't gotten a clear order would you have gone outside to get a confirmation or at least made a verbal attempt through the box. This CJr's is as good as it gets! Brice, Kale and Asha get things rolling here. You never see employees just standing around, they're cleaning - even the legs of the chairs that we diners sit on. Employees always greet you and always thank you when you're leaving. I've heard Brice complementing the employees - even on making a good plate of nachos - and THAT is what it takes to be a great Manager. The employees know Brice is behind them 100 %. I bought two green burritos today at Carls Jr. What a farce, they are more like frozen TV dinner burritos nugget style and the meat is horrible. They were stuck together when they were cooked being about 2 inches long each. They charge 75 cents to get guacamole sauce. Horrible tasting burritos.
