Short: Super friendly, delicious, great sizes, and so many options! Visited week of Sept 26th 2022…read more When I arrived, there was a queue of 3 people. The register staff was super friendly and polite. Along with patience, as my friend has never been to a Five Guys. They served us our Milkshakes as we waited. There was pick up/online orders, but we still received our food within 10 mins. You can pick up some peanuts as you wait as well! The location looks to be well staffed, had 3 cooking, 1 cashier who later cleaned thoroughly the dining room. [Food, Shakes, & Cost]: I got a "little cheeseburger" [$7.95], regular fries, and a milkshake [$6.25]. My friend got the "little hamburger" [$6.95] and milkshake. Mix-ins to the milkshakes are included in the price/free! [You can even mix in **bacon** into your shake] The little cheeseburger was the size of a normal fast food burger (about the size of your palm & some), so bigger than little! The only cheese they have is Cheddar. I added grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapenos (raw), green bell peppers (raw), BBQ Sauce, and Mayo. The beef was fresh and grilled right there to view. On a sesame bun, Five Guys burgers are really what you imagine a burger to traditionally/stereotypically look like. Overall, the taste was delicious and it wasn't overly greasy. Just got a bit messy with all the fixings not with grease. The fries are served in a drink cup. Which I find cute and original. Five Guys uses peanut oil to fry their fresh and locally harvested potatoes. They post in the front by the line where the potatoes came from and even display peanuts [and peanut oil] in the restaurant. The fries were hot!! It wasn't super greasy but did have oil to them, but they probably literally just came out of the fryer. I found my batch was a bit overly dark, but it wasn't a disgusting burnt crisp. Their fries still held a good crunch but softness. [Shakes]: The milkshake was chocolate and malted milk [!!!!]. I really hunt and love malt shakes, they just taste different with almost a different consistency as well. It truly did taste like a chocolate malt shake. (I even saw a clump of malt powder at the bottom). My friend got Banana. I am happy to say it was not that [gross] artificial tasting Banana but *fresh* fruity banana taste. Overall the consistencies were great and of good quality in taste. I just wish it was a tad bit chocolat-ier and for the price I was expecting it to be a bit bigger. Overall, seriously love this Five Guys location, everything a Five Guys should be and is. Definitely want to come visit again for burgers, fries, and shakes!

We walked in and were immediately greeted. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were not sure what we wanted, so the cashier gave us time to browse the menu. She stayed close though, so that if we did have questions we could ask, and I appreciated that. We ordered the classic burger with extra pickles, the bourbon bacon burger, and cheese curds. Everything arrived and it was delicious. Exactly as ordered. The restaurant is big and spacious. It was clean, comfortable, and a welcoming space. Would I return? It's a bit of a toss up on that one. Mostly because it's out of the way for me to get to. But, we have family moving to the area, so it may be that we find ourselves nearby more often. I know I'm looking forward to going back, but I can't see myself making a special trip. Review 41 of 2025.

And I like hot. So I picked hot. I had some difficulty with it. It was really very hot. Yet, there are three more levels, beyond that, which I can't imagine anyone eating. Mild was a bit, as my wife's mild was a bit too much for her, also too hot. Portions were good. We took home 1/2. For another meal. It is called Dave's Hot Chicken. So they are not lying. I give it , 5 stars, because it is exactly what it is saying it is. Start out with the mild. Low scale. Cause the chicken is cooked very well and tender. And then go from there, to find your level of Hot. :)

We were greeted immediately and the cashier who took our order was friendly and kind. No complaints there. Restaurant looks decently clean. Although tables needed a good wiping. No trash or anything, but they looked kinda grimy in the sunlight. We elected to eat outside because those tables were cleaner. I ordered the number 1, and I think my husband ordered the 3. Menu seems super small, so very limited choices. My husband liked his. My chicken was super greasy, room temperature (it was cooked fine, but had clearly been sitting and waiting for me to order it) and nowhere near crispy. Fries were decent, but they're frozen crinkle fries. Food comes with plain white bread that wasn't toasted, and pickles. My biggest problem is the severe lack of texture. The chicken wasn't crispy, fries soft, and plain un-toasted white bread. It tasted okay, but one tender in and I had palate fatigue and simply couldn't continue eating. I let my husband finish mine, and I walked away hungry. There was nothing egregiously wrong with the experience. It just isn't one I care to repeat. There are far better local chicken restaurants in town that keep me coming back. There is nothing to bring me back here. I'm glad I tried it to review it. But that's it.

We were in Eugene over the weekend for my first cousins wedding, and were delighted to discover…read morethat Elmers is a chain! We always stop at the Elmers in Palm Springs when visiting my wife's family in that area. I happen to have an addiction to their German Pancakes/Dutch Babies, and even though the 3.6 star Yelp rating had me a tiny bit concerned (Palm Springs location has a 4.4 excellent rating) we arranged to have a goodbye breakfast for 5 of us on our way to EUG (I just couldn't bare a third mediocre free breakfast at our motel!) I wasn't aware that a reservation or an earlier time would have been warranted, since a big group of 35 just beat us in Monday at 10, in town for Banana Ball at Autzen, so it did take a slightly longer than usual time to be seated and served, but it wasn't their fault, even my though they apologized like it was, it just gave us a bit more time to converse with the bride and groom and say our goodbyes. We still made it to the airport with time to spare. The wait staff was terrific and very friendly, the space was clean, modern and very well kept. We were all very happy with our breakfasts, 3 of us had German Pancakes, due in part because I raved about them so much from my experiences at Palm Spring Elmers. 2 had the assorted fruit topping, I went with lemon, butter, and powdered sugar, So yummy! My other cousin had the lingonberry crepes, she loved them! Everyone was very happy and full, even got a to go box for the betrothed. If I could add a 6th star I would. I love Elmers so much, I'm exploring a franchise for my home base in Belmont CA!
