I've taken a tour of their kitchen before, and I can conclude that everything is in tip-top shape. The chef has been there for many many years and can do wonders with her food ingredients. If you truly want to taste Home-Made Salvadoran food (like Mama's secret recipe good), I suggest you stop by Las Brisas De El Salvador and give it a try. I've came here at least a dozen times and I'm still in love with their food! Also, the place has a super cute interior of sceneries from El Salvador. 1) Milk Shakes: I think I've tried almost all of their flavors and Honeydew, Cantaloupe, and Papaya shakes are personally my favorites. 2) My dad and I love their beef soup and my mom prefers their chicken noodle soup. 3) My mom LOVES their pupusas. FYI: I swore they had an english-verison menu a couple of years ago, but now it's all in spanish. However, they knew exactly what I wanted when I came here to order take-out. I would order new things, but unfortunately my 3 years of high school spanish did not do the menu any justice. I really missed the waitress that used to work there about 2 years ago, she was super awesome! Oh yea, it's CASH ONLY and there's a HUGE parking lot in the back!

When we received the food my father in law went to ask about the plantain since it was not even the half of the plantain yet the photo had the entire plantain. The small piece of plantain was cut in half, so when my father in law went to tell the person in the counter which I'm assuming is the manager, the manager said, "You want me to glue them together?" He was so shocked at the response that he walked away but I found it so disrespectful and unprofessional. My advice to the manager, is fix your deceiving menu pictures and charge a fair price for the small plates you serve but most importantly learn to be a manager, a leader, and learn manners. That is not the best answer you could've given a customer. And lastly, I will never recommend the lunches and dinners here. Bakery is good, fair, and easy to not mess up in.

Has a lot of seafood as well as Dominican, Colombian, Mexican. Sadly, what we ordered pretty much sucked. Pernil: C+ Oh, God, it was dry. Dry, dry, dry. You get a very large portion of extremely dry meat with a "cap" of nicely crisped fat. The kind of crispy fat you'd expect from pernil. However, there is very little flavor (compared to my wife's pernil, which may be an unfair comparison, since her pernil rocks my world -- I would've married her for her pernil alone). Very little flavor, and dry, dry, dry. No pernil marinade (that I could taste). There was lime served on the side, but the pernil should be *cooked* with lime. Not enough fat. It was either vastly overcooked or reheated aggressively with dry heat. Tip to the chef: reheating things in a pan and sprinkling water on the meat yields much nicer meat than popping it in the microwave. Using a microwave to reheat meat never works. It overcooks the meat. I consider it inedible. Pollo Mexicano: C+ Similar problem as the pernil. It has a beautifully flavorful salsa, but the chicken was so dry that you have to choke down the chicken When you take a bite, it's difficult to get the chicken to go down your throat because it's bone dry. They vastly overcook the chicken and make the salsa separately. They then toss the bone dry chicken into the yummy salsa and you get cardboard chicken in a delicious salsa. I consider it inedible.
