the food is ALWAYS Delicious! It is expensive. They are stingy with the rice, don't ask for an extra scoop or they up charge you to a bigger plate. Some of the girls attitude are not horrible (must hate their job)Esa vieja necesitan un marido para que le cambien el attitude. The manager is always smiling and very helpful.Today is the first time I've had an issue, as I am enjoying my food I find hair all over my food deep inside. I stopped eating and spit out my food immediately. I am very disappointed and deeply saddened by this tragedy today. Oh btw if you are paying with card they will charge extra $5 because they don't want to pay taxes.

Best pupusas in town. Staff was so nice and patient with me as I tried to order in Spanish. Worth the wait for fresh pupusas made to order.

I go here twice a week. Gringo friendly. The food is made from scratch to order. Get the homemade tacos. Best you'll ever have.

The horchata wasn't as good as it used to be but the atol de elote is acceptable.

Brunch is great with some carne asada, rice, and beans. This place always hits the right place. Yes sometimes you gotta wait a while, remember the place is small.. but it's worth it. Full Disclosure: I've known the owner for years, but this review is truly an unbiased opinion…read more Good tasting food and cleanliness is very important in the food service industry. I've taken a tour of their kitchen before, and I can conclude that everything is in tip-top shape. The chef has been there for many many years and can do wonders with her food ingredients. If you truly want to taste Home-Made Salvadoran food (like Mama's secret recipe good), I suggest you stop by Las Brisas De El Salvador and give it a try. I've came here at least a dozen times and I'm still in love with their food! Also, the place has a super cute interior of sceneries from El Salvador. 1) Milk Shakes: I think I've tried almost all of their flavors and Honeydew, Cantaloupe, and Papaya shakes are personally my favorites. 2) My dad and I love their beef soup and my mom prefers their chicken noodle soup. 3) My mom LOVES their pupusas. FYI: I swore they had an english-verison menu a couple of years ago, but now it's all in spanish. However, they knew exactly what I wanted when I came here to order take-out. I would order new things, but unfortunately my 3 years of high school spanish did not do the menu any justice. I really missed the waitress that used to work there about 2 years ago, she was super awesome! Oh yea, it's CASH ONLY and there's a HUGE parking lot in the back!

Recently I visited for take out to fulfill my bucket list goal of tasting El Salvadorian Papusas…read more My friend is from El Salvador and recommended Jalapeño. She gave high praises about the chicharron pork Papusas. I decided to order the pork and shrimp. She shared with me a little tip, that while the sign on the restaurant says Mexican, it is a El Salvadorian restaurant. The restaurant was open for take out and the ladies were friendly and provided good service. I reviewed the extensive menu which features a mexican menu. They serve different Papusas but my eyes feasted on the shrimp. Our food was packed well and came with tortilla chips, a rich salsa, pickled cabbage in a ziplock bag and red sauce. The pickled cabbage is very similar to Haitian pikliz. A dish or condiment that many Caribbean countries serve and call a different name. The chips and salsa primarily were very delicious. The salsa was very rich in flavor and fresh. The humongous Papusas are why you come here ! Papusas are a national dish of El Salvador that is a thick flatbread from made with cornmeal or rice flour. Similar to a quesadilla but so moist and flavorful here. I really enjoyed the pork which tasted more like moist shredded chicken. The sauce and pickled cabbage paired really well. Can't wait to come again.

This is THE spot for pupusas! Cheesy, chewy deliciousness. Pairs perfectly with the best…read moreSalvadorian horchata I've ever had.
