What an amazing spot! Great location right in front of a cute park. Staff were so friendly, even had some furry pets in there who were adorable. Everything we got was fantastic. Savory- the biscuit sandwich is so unique and bursting with flavors like cheezy, plant based protein, pesto, and a perfectly cooked biscuit Sweet- We got cupcakes, cookies, peanut butter bites, snickerdoodle cookie was great! More savory- sausage rolls, a Smorga which was very authentic! Our first time trying Scandinavian food. 1000% recommend to support this local shop! They cook with love you can taste it

I specifically asked for a Heart shaped cake when placing my order last week on Thursday 11/20. I was told the job could be done and picked up today 11/26. When I pick up the cake, it looks nothing like a heart shaped. When i complained about the cake i was told by their manager that everyone in the bakery believes this looks like a heart and its all about one artist eye vs another artists eye. When it comes to shapes, there is no such thing as an artist eye. Its a shape. If i said to think of a circle you wouldnt think of a triangle Another thing was the finish of the cake as well, the icing was not smooth, pretty rugged if you ask me and she told me its not possible to be smooth. I've seen cakes have smooth finishes so thats not true Lastly, the manager told me i rushed them in making this cake because i placed the order so last minute, i didnt realize giving you 6 full days was rushing you I'll include pictures of the cake I received and what a heart shaped cake really looks like

This is such a lovely bakery that excels in their offerings of sweet treats for vegans and non-vegans alike. I sampled an assortment of baked goods and everything was delectable! The raisin cookies were one of the best I've ever had (even compared with non-vegan options). The chocolate cupcake was moist and the frosting was decadent with a sprinkle of sea salt to enhance the flavor. It's apparent that a lot of thought was put into the process of baking every treat-not just to replicate, but also elevate the original dessert into an even more delicious, guilt-free version. I'm not vegan, but have started being more conscientious about where my food comes from so this was a nice foray into the world of vegan eating. It's great to see that you don't have to compromise taste for more ethical options.

Do you have Finnish Rye Bread?

They had a pumpernickel rye bread and I was quite excited. But it was gluten free and not what I considered "real pumpernickel". They had Swedish cardamom rolls which were delicious.

Do you make pumpernickel bread?

Hi, James! We bake gluten-free pumpernickel bread, yes. Please call the bakery at (503) 339-3187 to order in advance.

Hej! Vad kostar en medium princess tårta?

Hej! The cost of a 6 inch princess cake would be $60, an 8 inch would be $80. Tak så mycket!

Do you have non-vegan options as well?

Hi Michael! Thank you for your question. All of our food is made 100% vegan. Carina's Bakery does not use dairy, eggs, or soy ingredients, but I have many non-vegan friends who enjoy our treats! There are all kinds of sweet and savory options.… Read more

The place fills up nicely so that you feel like you have the privacy of being in a crowd without it feeling crowded. The food is beautiful and I really love the dishware they use here. Overall the service was satisfactory, nothing really to write home about either way. That being said I would have liked the food to be a bit more substantial for the prices. The pricing felt a bit high for what was served both in terms of substance and quantity. A final minor note is that I consider calling the Turmeric Fries "fries" a bit misleading considering that they are most definitely chips and that was more than a little disappointing when they came out.

Hapa Pizza: A Masterclass in Fusion and Flavor If you…read morehaven't been to Hapa Pizza in downtown Beaverton, you are missing out on what is arguably the most exciting culinary evolution in the Pacific Northwest. It is rare for a restaurant to live up to "New York Times Best in the US" hype, but Hapa doesn't just meet the bar--it sets a whole new one. The Crust: A Neapolitan Dream Everything starts with the dough. They've mastered a Neapolitan-style crust that achieves the impossible: a light, airy crumb with a soulful sourdough tang and that signature wood-fired "leopard spotting." It's chewy, charred, and provides the perfect structural integrity for their bold toppings. The "Mind-Trip" Flavors What truly makes Hapa a destination is how seamlessly owners Aaron and Natalie Truong blend traditional Asian dishes with the canvas of a pizza. * The Bánh Mì Pizza: This is a revelation. The lemongrass BBQ pork is sweet and smoky, perfectly countered by the crunch of pickled daikon and carrots and a drizzle of sriracha aioli. * The Phở Pizza: It sounds like a gimmick until you taste it. The brisket, Thai basil, and hoisin-sriracha swirl actually trick your brain into thinking you're eating a bowl of noodles, but with the satisfying crunch of a pizza. * Khao Soi & Thai Curry: For those who want a kick, these pizzas bring deep, aromatic spices and creative textures (like crispy wonton strips) that you simply won't find anywhere else. Beyond the Pie Do not sleep on the sides. The Tom Yum Caesar Salad is a tangy, umami-rich masterpiece that redefines what a salad can be. And if they have the Korean Burrata or their Asian-inspired Tiramisus (like Ube or Vietnamese Coffee) on the menu, order them immediately before they sell out. The Vibe Despite the national accolades, Hapa retains its heart. The space is clean and modern, and the service is consistently praised for being warm and efficient even when the line is out the door. Final Verdict: Hapa Pizza isn't just "good fusion"--it's a world-class example of how to respect traditional techniques while fearlessly innovating. It is a mandatory stop for any food lover in Oregon. Pro Tip: They are known to sell out, so arrive early or check their social media for daily updates. Your taste buds will thank you.

The pho and banh mi were my fav! I was skeptical but the flavors were really good. It's kind of amazing how well they captured the flavors onto a pizza! I will say the crust wasn't my favorite, but I would still get it again and just not eat as much of the crust so that I can eat more slices :)

We enjoyed the food on Puerto Rico on our cruise so this was a treat. The restaurant was vibrant with island decor and family photos on the walls. My wife ordered a Mojito and I had a Rum and Coke. The garlic chicken was pounded thin and overcooked, very dry and hard to eat. The accompanying beans, rice and salad were very good. Somewhat like a samosa filling but still quite unique. Wasn't spicy but was very flavorful. Combination plate with Seeni Sambal (caramelised onion tamarind chutney), Polos (jackfruit curry), Deviled pineapple (daily special; the best of the lot!), Radish salad, Mustard Greens salad, and chickpea curry. Served with rice and papadum. The seeni sambal was the only mediocre thing on the platter. Loved the deviled pineapple where pineapple was stewed in a spicy sauce. The pineapple pieces had absorbed the sauce really well and were very juicy with a nice bite to them. The polos is also a must try - raw jackfruit really absorbs spices well and the fleshy and stringy / fibrous texture made it extra delicious. The mustard green and radish salad were also very moist and lightly seasoned, while the chickpea curry was only mildly spiced but balanced the rest of the dishes well. Mango ice tea (4/5) - we got it unsweetened so the mango flavor did not really come through all that well. Very friendly staff/owners. Parking can be a little had to find - we parked at a spot about a 5 min walk away. Gender neutral restroom located past the kitchen so they ask you to wear a mask while walking to the restroom. Outdoor and patio seating with very beautiful decor. Love the ambience and the whole vibe.

I came with three friends for lunch; we all placed individual orders then took our numbers (on a small standup sign) back to our table to chat and enjoy the day. Soon food came for the two men in our party, and we women encouraged them to eat rather than wait on our food. So eat they did, and in another 10 or so minutes more food arrived, but not my order. After a short discussion we realized that my food had been given to one of the men, and he had eaten it; now the food he actually ordered arrived, leaving him with two meals and me with none. Our server seemed to think it was our fault that we got the wrong food, and brought me a roti to eat but never replaced my meal. I was not pleased to have spent $17.50 for a serving of roti, which wasn't exactly the lunch I had paid for. I think i wpuld have liked the food if I'd had a chance to eat what I ordered. it would be most appropriate for the restaurant to refund my money since, through no fault of my own, I did not receive the food I paid for. It was the server who mistakenly put my food down elsewhere, and my friend who ate it had no idea it wasn't his. Unfortunately there was not so much as an apology, and I won't be returning to Mirasata.
