Once again I felt the same way after drinking half a cup. There was a metallic or perhaps it's an acidic taste. What really caused the drop as on the first sip the cover fell off and spilled hot coffee along my clothes. I didn't get burned and luckily I was parked across the street and could drive home and change. Trying to get the cap back on I can see it's not totally compatible with the cup.
