Momo Cafe - July 2026

Met up with a friend to go over some work related things at Momo Cafe a few months ago and had a…read moregreat experience. We went late on a weekend morning and the place was packed. Momo Cafe is owned by the same family who own my favorite sushi restaurants: Momo Sushi in NE and AMA Sushi in Edina. This place was PACKED. We waited in a line to order that stretched all the way to the entrance of the quaint building. The vibe inside is quite cool but it is crowded so you might have to wait for someone to leave to grab a spot. We ended up only sticking around long enough to finish our food and then left to work somewhere else - it just was a bit too crowded for us to be productive and we didn't want to hog up space for other customers. I was pretty hungry while I was there so I ordered some meat momos. It took quite a bit of time for them to come out as they are made fresh, but they were delicious: incredibly savory and so fragrant. My recommendation is lean very far forward when eating these, one popped open while I was eating it and leaked all over me. Overall, great cafe and a good spot to grab a bite at too.

What a great experience!…read more The cafe is very nice and spacious! Lots of places to work or mingle. The black sesame latte with almond milk was amazing! Didn't try the food but nice to know they have some veggie options. Easy to find and great service - totally worth the trek to enjoy!

We went to Yellowbird on a Monday morning around 11:15. There is a large seating area which was…read moreabout half full, so it is a popular place - and I can see why! Good lighting and not too loud. They have all of the usual coffee options as well as several of their own concoctions. They have pastries as well as more hearty options like breakfast burritos, although when we went they were out of burritos, probably because we were there so late. They have several gluten free items, and vegan items. It looks like everything that can be sourced locally is local, and they have the providers listed on the menu. They are obviously very socially and environmentally conscious. The servers were very friendly. I had a cold press with cream which was excellent, exactly what I hoped it would be, good coffee flavor. Next time I would probably ask for less cream, but it is real cream. I also had the morning bun which was very good. It was like a cinnamon roll that was also rolled in cinnamon and sugar on the outside. My partner had a red eye which was dark roast and espresso with cream. He liked it very much. He also had a ham and cheese croissant and an apple fritter, both of which were very good. Parking is street parking which wasn't a problem when we were there but may be a problem at busier times. The interior is handicapped friendly, but again parking could be an issue. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Friendly staff members. They took the time to explain the menu to us. The line was abit tight as it was out the door but there is another cozy area next to it. It was a pet friendly coffee store

This place has a casual local coffee shop feel that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Although it was fairly busy at the time I visited, service was still relatively fast. I particularly liked my latte drink because you could taste the unique salted caramel flavor without it being muted with the espresso and milk. The flavor came through clear and I would definitely order it again. Additionally, I liked how they had a rotating seasonal menu. I would visit again to try some drinks on their "Trick or Treat" menu.

Food 4/5: we got the breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese, spinach on a croissant) and plain bagels. The breakfast sandwich was well seasoned and flavor balanced and I'd absolutely come back for! The bagel didn't seem the most fresh, but they did have other pasties I'd try. I also got the cold brew with maple syrup and a splash of milk and would absolutely come back for! Service 5/5: the ladies that helped me were so nice and helped answer all of my questions. The food/drink was made quickly. Ambiance 5/5: this place has plenty of seating inside and out and has a more cozy aesthetic. Definitely worth a try if you're on the neighborhood! I love that they have more than just pastry options for breakfast and we will definitely be back.

It's surprisingly large inside, with tons of natural light and a mix of couches and tables that could accommodate anything from one person with a laptop to groups of 7-8. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday afternoon but never felt uncomfortable. It's also dog-friendly, and I loved the little container of dog treats by the entrance! I ordered the Peaches & Cream Cold Brew and really enjoyed it. It wasn't overly sweet, and the ratio of cold brew to the peachy cream/foam on top was just right. They also had pastries, sandwiches, and other food options that seemed pretty reasonably priced for the area. Another big plus is the convenient parking right across the street, and there are several other places within walking distance if you want to grab food afterward. Outdoor seating is pretty limited (I only noticed one table) so I'd primarily come here for the indoor space. The baristas were friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable, and it was an easy place to settle in for a couple of hours. Definitely a Northeast coffee shop I'd come back to!
