Food is always delicious and great prices! The eggplant is crispy on outside and tender on the inside. Service is always pleasant and accomodating. Calm elegant ambiance. So many great options you won't regret trying the food.

Decided to try a new Uzbek restaurant that opened a few months ago and so glad we stopped in! Decided to get an overall sampler and it was a great deal. It included 2 manti, kefta kabob, grilled chicken and beef shank with French fries, grilled peppers and carrot and cabbage salad. The fruit tea was addicted and for dessert we had a white chocolate coconut cake. If you're in the area it was a great meal for the price.

Caravan is fantastic! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, with perfectly cooked and seasoned meats. I especially enjoyed the tomato cucumber salad and the lamb soup topped with dough. Although there were two different vinegar options on the table, I found the soup flavorful enough without needing much. Overall, a great dining experience! The water is bottled and was free not entirely sure why when they should have Lake Michigan tap water but whatever totally good meal

We had a great lunch. Supper low key and relaxing. Great tasty food. Would def come again!

Yet another Central Asian restaurant in the Chicagoland area! It's been fun trying them out. So far I've tried Anjir, Chinar, Jannat, and Sorry Mommy. Now we tried Caravan. Caravan is located in a strip mall, to the far left. Parking is decent. When we went inside, we didn't see a worker, so we seated ourselves. It turns out there was only one server taking/delivering orders. Service was friendly enough. There are about eight tables inside, mostly four-seaters but one larger table with eight chairs. The interior is nothing fancy. Anjir and Chinar feel nicer. Caravan didn't feel like the type of place where you could have a cozy conversation. Oddly, the other dozen or so customers were all men; we were the only family with a child. The table settings were decent with proper plates and silverware. We ordered plov, manty, and chuchvara. The plov was a bit dry, but thankfully not as greasy as other places. I suppose this was a healthier plov since it didn't have overly fatty meat. The manty was on par with other places, although I feel Anjir has the best manty so far. The chuchvara was somewhat disappointing because the soup broth was nearly flavorless (compared to Jannat); however, the dumplings inside were excellent. Overall, not a bad option, but not my favorite from the five Uzbek restaurants I've tried so far

Awesome food & service. Everything tasted great, & the coffee & apricot juice were refreshing. Will definitely be back.

Food was uniquely good. First time here and I've already recommended to my sister. You have to try the Fruit Tea, most unusual.

Open your mind, your palate, and prepare for a unique experience! I'm a seasoned and well-travelled enthusiast of Middle-, Near- and Far-East foods, and this is one of the areas I had not yet experienced. It did not disappoint. The food is hearty, savory, and full of flavor! My wife had the Chili Meat-Achik Gusht, which is like the best pot roast you've ever had. Try it with the vinegar concoction on the table, it adds a lot of zing! I had the Ghan-Phan, which was reminiscent of an Asian rice dish but with a savory stewed lamb. Really interesting. Very kind service. The ambiance is quaint, and is simple yet comfortable. Great experience, *highly recommend* it if you're looking for something new and different! Everything is Halal, and there are even special Iftar (daily fast-breaking) special offerings during Ramadan.

Laghman, an Uzbek bread with a lacquered top with white and black sesame seeds sprinkled over it. - A baked Uzbek bread with a glossy, golden-brown crust, topped with white and black sesame seeds, resting on a white foam plate.

I just had a sumptuous Uzbek meal from here, it fulfilled my desire to eat something weird/good. The samosa looked like the laghman (bread, pictured), and was delicious. I recommend this restaurant highly.

The atmosphere was calm and food was brought to the table shortly. I had the Plov and it reminded me so much of home.

It's halal, super clean, and the staff? Genuinely some of the kindest and warmest people you'll meet. You can tell they really care about their space and their food -- gloves, masks, and great hospitality all around. The vibe inside is lowkey but elegant, great for a quiet night out or a new food experience with friends or family. The menu reflects a wide variety of authentic dishes -- some comforting, others bold and new depending on your palate. Pelmeni (dumplings): Very strong in flavor, not what I'm typically used to. The texture might take some getting used to -- I wasn't the biggest fan, but my friend loved it. Plov: So flavorful and hearty -- slightly on the greasy side but still really satisfying. Manty: If you're into juicy, steamed dumplings, this is the move. The spices are deep and warming. Honey Cake: Hands down one of my favorites. Soft, lightly sweet, and melts in your mouth -- definitely a must-try. If you're into exploring lesser-known cuisines or just want a meal that feels like a journey across cultures, Jannat is a beautiful stop. It's an experience more than just a dinner, and you can feel the passion behind the dishes.
