TENS STARS IF I COULD!…read more Gary made my whole entire week! My friend's husband had given me a jump backwards which caused my radio to blow out...or so I thought, and so did the first mechanic I went to. I have a 2007 Infiniti FX and parts are super pricy. First guy quoted me about $950 but I wasn't convinced based on all the other electrical things that were working just fine that I needed a new radio as he said. I was sure it was a fuse of some sort. So I search yelp for an audio-specific mechanic and found Gary with other glowing reviews. So I called him last night and he offered to come then but I was on my way to yoga so we agreed to do this morning. He came to my house, took my extra set of keys and I left for work. By the time I sat at my desk, he was done and called me from my car with the music playing in the background! It only cost me his service fee of $65. I've got to think of a good Christmas gift to send him. Bonus: Gary is a Vietnam Veteran and when he saw my dad's veteran license plate cover (which I kept on my car to remember him by) we chatted about their experiences and when he called to let me know my car was fixed he said "If you ever want to talk about your dad, you can call me". Heart full and car fixed.

Afterwards, I contacted Hot Tint in May 2022. They responded to me that day and told me to stop by the shop. I made an appointment for later that week. When I arrived, I asked them to install the unit and a backup camera. I can't recall how much time it took but it was done in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy with their service. I called a few other shops around this time. A couple had other projects and couldn't get to me for a few months. A couple of others didn't want to touch the van because of its age, manufactured in 1989. Hot Tint was straight-forward. They said let them see what I have and they'll let me know if they could use what I had or needed something else. I appreciate that approach. I did have a couple of problems but they were responsive. While driving home, my radio rebooted twice. The cable came loose so they told me to return to the shop so that they could fix it. The second is my clock resets to 12:00 every time the vehicle is restarted. They told me to bring it by so that they can fix it but I haven't. I'm rarely on the screen to see the time and just had other priorities. I mention these items to show that they were responsive and willing to troubleshoot the problem. I rate them high also because there are many mechanics and technicians who can work on a classic vehicle but refuse to do so. There are a handful like Hot Tint that jumps right in and do the job. I'm finally ready to add an amp and subwoofer so I will be contacting them again soon.

I was happy to schedule tinting and a remote start installation. Unfortunately, my experience walking through the door this time was immediately negative. I understand I was 39 minutes late, but the front desk representative repeatedly emphasized how important their time was, without considering other factors like traffic. The constant badgering made the situation uncomfortable and unprofessional. Ultimately, I decided to leave because the interaction didn't feel respectful or customer-focused. This is not the best way to treat a returning client who has had positive experiences before.

Andre was extremely easy to talk to and a consummate professional every step of the way. He started by explaining his policy of only installing parts he'd provide as opposed to having us bring equipment for him to install. This made sense as there are a lot of things that can go wrong with internet purchases, and an installation oftem involves more than just the one part. After discussing various options, he emailed us a fully itemized estimate at a reasonable price. We were able to pick the car up about 5 hours after dropoff, after which he gave me a quick walkthrough of the new system which was a very welcome modern upgrade from the previous factory setup. He even went the extra mile to ensure that our phone USB charging setup remained at parity with the way it was before the installation. I would recommend Unparalleled Audio to anyone who is looking to have their car stereo replaced by an expert you can fully trust to just... be a good person.
