If you're looking for outstanding customer service and a smooth funding experience then look not…read morefurther! (Quick back story) we had spend hours the day prior (Saturday) at another dealership and received a low offer on our trade, we put a 4Runner on hold and decided to wait to look at a BZ with the intent to return Monday since that dealer is closed Sundays, which gave us time to get an appraisal. Sunday we decided to get a CarMax appraisal just to feel more prepared with numbers and saw Sheehy across the street and open. Now, back to Sheehy Toyota; Moe was outstanding, when hubs and I walked up, we expected the typical salesman intro, not with Moe, he was personable and fun right off the bat. We went in to test drive the BZ to get a feel for what an electric car was all about, we weren't disappointed. We also inquired about a better model 4Runner they had and gave that a test drive also. We decided to proceed with both! So, onto the dreaded negotiations part I think we all dislike, right? Well, with Moe it was refreshingly short and simple. Moe explained they work offers based off carmax so we pulled out our appraisal which was accepted without issue, Moe and his manager provided great incentives and ultimately got us to a place where we felt comfortable moving forward. I've purchased a lot of cars and this purchase stood out from the moment we walked onto the lot to the warm muffins offered to keep the hangry away. Every interaction was pleasant and without ever feeling pressured to add on products and the atmosphere was fun (as fun as a dealership can be) Hats off to Moe and everyone involved, we love our new vehicles!

Found this out days afterwards and then had to go back to fix and the person could not drive the car due to this error. Second, no registration or the sticker showing information, for the windshield. Son had to go to MVA to find out that Sheehy Toyota has these items. NEVER did Sheehy Toyota call to let us know and the waiting period is a day away. Again, they don't proofread. Check your VIN against the paperwork they give you!!! This could have been on purpose since the first issue was dealt with the manager and a free tank of gas for the distance. Just saying.

The car buying process was so easy. This location also has a nice selection of cars to choose from. Abu greeted us immediately and was able to help us get everything done. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great and memorable experience.

I had the car scheduled for a diagnostic with the manufacturer, and after the initial test drive, the service manager, immediately confirmed that there were in fact several issues with the vehicle. Carmax Laurel, did not offer to do a diagnostic test on my vehicle before I cancelled my contract. I was told that because the other store emailed the paperwork for return, that it was their mission to process the return and help me find a new vehicle as quickly as possible. 3 hours later, I began test driving new replacement vehicles in hopes of finding the right car for me. The first vehicle that I test drove, had low tire pressure lights on when I started the car to drive. The second vehicle had not been cleaned. There was in fact a half smoked blunt (filled with marijuana) in the passenger door. There was also, broken glass in the trunk of the car. I was outraged! How unprofessional and wildly inappropriate is it for the car not to have been deeply cleaned and detailed? Also, can you imagine if I would have been pulled over? The management team was apologetic. They offered to buy my lunch for up to $25 and they provided me a Lyft to my destination. The following day, the salesman I was working with never called me with an additional apology, he never presented me with any other car options that would meet my needs, and to date he hasn't said a word. I did hear from the service manager Debbie, and one of the sales managers, Steve. They both expressed apologies and offered to help me find another vehicle. I still don't have a car. I am waiting on a transfer from another store. At this point the level of unprofessionalism and the fact that cars are not serviced, or cleaned makes me want to walk away from Carmax all together. I am outraged and very disappointed in my experience.

However, when we got there, all of a sudden they wanted our son to talk to the bank, then they wanted a down payment, then a co-signer. Mind you, our son, who is employed full time, making good money, and been at his job for 3+ years, had a fully pre-approved letter that stated all he had to do was come in and sign the paperwork. THEY ARE LIARS. DON'T GO THERE.

I came in and Amar was nowhere to be found, then I found out that the info given to me was incorrect and they wouldn't take my trade. he set me up with someone named Jonathan who was late coming in to meet me, he then got quickly sidetracked with other customers, another rep named Eden was just giving me hints to leave if I didn't have a co-signer, I eventually got a co-signer, they ran my credit with Equifax about seven times, then went onto my transunion and ran that three times as well. I then met with someone named Wes, and he started to ask me questions I told him that I was not looking for a car over $15,000, he then asked me why, I said im a student then went on to raise his voice and say that the banks wouldn't approve me on a lower loan and that they were pretty much planning a repo( by trying to get me into a car that I couldn't afford hoping id default on my loan) and that they'd want their money back. so I left, do not go here if you are looking for a car and have a set range under $20,000 they will play in your face and insult you.

They shipped me the truck after I spent $1,500 for shipping and I see the rust damage on arrival. Among that, main valve in the transmission had to be replaced along with a leaking right rear axle seal. The tires are dry rotted and cracked as well. They refuse to pay for new tires. They didn't disclose that the truck needed new tires. They offered that I buy tires from a distributor at a discounted rate, but they are underrated tires for the truck. They also installed a cheap aftermarket head unit that did not work. So I had to spend about $700 to put a new head unit in. The transmission and leaking seal cost me approximately $4,000. New tires will cost me about $2,300 This dealership is horrible. Do not buy from them. Take your money elsewhere. I spoke with the "manager" and he refused to take responsibility for the dealerships negligence. I know in California, the tires would have been replaced immediately before sale. Avoid this place at all cost.

Literally 30 DAYS after buying this car I began to have transmission issues. Luckily my warranty with my creditor covered a new transmission. Dealer would only cover 50% of costs and was not helpful. Their level of communication near ceased after I expressed my frustration. (Would have me on hold for long periods of time, kept saying I would receive texts and calls back but received none.) Since then I have kept up on oil changes/regular maintenance however 6 months later I am having the same issue, not to mention a plethora of other things falling apart (window motors, sensors, other electrical issues). My first time buying a car from a dealer and by far the worst quality car l've ever owned. There's always a risk buying a used car, however, none of my other cars l've purchased at auction or from regular people on Facebook market ever gave out on me 1 MONTH after buying. Those cars lasted me for years. I'll give them their one star because Glendy was very nice and she made the initial experience very easy. Good salesmen/ women, bad vehicles. My experience is only mine however I would save yourself any of this kind of trouble and look elsewhere. Can't even truly express my frustration with this entire experience. xoxo. EDIT: after not one but TWO new transmissions, the second paid for out of pocket, this car is having the same issue.. I'm paying hundreds & thousands of dollars for the car note, insurance, repairs.. all for a car I can barely drive to and from work without having the same issue. speaking with a lawyer and looking into taking them to court at this point. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. BUYERS BEWARE. this was supposed to be an upgrade for me, my first nice car from a dealership. & instead it's nothing but headaches, tears, and im out of thousands of dollars. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM HERE.

The company charged me $89.95 diagnostic fee and advised me in writing that the problem was low on refrigerant due to the compressor leaking; needing replacement. Nothing was mentioned about any other repairs being needed. On June 10, 2022 I returned and authorized the repairs on my car and upon completion of the work, went home to find the repairs not fixing the problem. I subsequently called Performance back and told them that it is not fixed and arranged to come back on June 13th and waited approximately two hours for them to fix it. When I got the car back and drove home, it was evident that the unit was still not blowing cold air and called them back and brought my car back in on June 16th and again on June 30th. Spending all total about 8 hours of my time waiting for PROPER repairs to be made. Never being told what was wrong at any time no given a receipt for what repairs were made after the compressor work was done. Finally, I sent an email on July 2nd to them and followed up Tuesday July 5th with a phone call where I talked to the dispatcher and told her that I want my money back and I don't have confidence in the shop. Now they say because the car is old the system should be replaced but they can not state specifically what is wrong. When it was cooler out there was slight cool air at first. Now it is HOT air. Beware of this company as this is highly unethical and unprofessional and not the way customers should be treated. When you give an estimate to fix something, EVERYTHING should be in the estimate; not coming in after the fact and try to b.s. your way through a botched repair.
