I heard about Elite Importz through a friend who had all my aftermarket mods and service performed at there. When I first got the mod bug back in 2010 I had them put on all my aftermarket exhaust parts, from intake to y-pipe to exhaust. I've also had them perform a couple brake changes (pads/rotors). I can say for sure that they are an affordable and efficient shop. They won't jerk you around and recommend a variety of flushes/ fluid changes. The customer service I had is okay. The only problem I've had with the shop is when they were install my y-pipe and a there was a bracket that had an arrow pointed in the direction that it was supposed to go however it got installed backwards. It would click when I would drive and it took another shop that did my springs to correct the issue. Other than I've had no issues. Bring your own parts (a little savings for you) and have them do the install. You get the value on the parts and the value on the install...best of both worlds. read more

Got a great deal on some forgiatos plus McGaughy drop kit for the truck which was executed to perfection! The truck was dropped off in the morning and delivered in the afternoon. The shop is clean and maintained very well. And gated up during non business hours. I would feel comfortable leaving my cars there if repairs or work required more then a day. Nice to finally find a reliable repair shops that knows what their doing and won't charge you an arm and a leg. I recently got a 60k mile service done on my Infiniti. The dealer wanted about $900 for this service, Chris at Elite only charged me $375. They are very knowledgeable about imports and do everything from oil changes to complete engine rebuilds. If you need to drop your car off, there is also an Enterprise rental car at the Volkswagen dealership up the street. Driving to DC, our wheel fell of our minivan. We got it back on, but it was unsafe to drive. Luckily, we found Elite Auto on a Saturday afternoon after closing time around 4pm. Instead of turning us away, they fixed us right up, even loaned us a football to throw around to pass the time. We had envisioned being turned away and then a large over price bill but instead we got mercy and kindness. Our family vacation would've been much delayed had it not been for Elite. It is very easy to be intimidated when you first pull up and see the crazy amount of custom cars that just scream $$$$, but from my multiple dealings, Elite is very fair and honest when it comes to pricing, and gets things done in a timely manner! Although I have a run of the mill Infiniti, I am very particular about who I get to do work on my car and I gave Elite a shot and won't go anywhere else! I have been going to Elite Auto for a few years and I even know the owner Chris. The shop has had a major make over and it looks awesome. Why you ask? BECAUSE this guy charges ridiculous prices! I didn't realize it until I was stuck going to a local mechanic because my rotors suddenly started squeeling and making sounds. I was charged half the price of what they charge me at elite auto. You are better off taking your car to a DEALER mechanic shop. I'm not going to say Chris is a dishonest guy but he does use a synthetic blend and sells it as a pure synthetic. He also has is workers do the dishonest things and upsell stuff that doesn't even need to be done. There is usually a group of his thug friends hanging out there. You have been warned! I've found the best kept secret right down the street. The staff at Elite Auto handled my brake job. After initially thinking it was the rear, they confirmed it was the front brakes causing the problem and the repair cost was less than originally estimated. No regard for customer service - definitely did not care for my business nor will I be giving them any more in the future. My quest for a good solid, reliable, fair, honest mechanics continues.... I towed my car in after getting a recommendation from a friend that Elite Auto was good, fair and reasonable. The next day, I had to call them about 5 times to see when they would be able to work on my car and to provide an estimate. Never got a straight answer and then was told we'll get to it tomorrow. Come the day after, finally receive a call mid-morning telling me the problem which I already knew and they could have easily provided me a quote for from the beginning but told me that they cannot get the part until 5 pm meaning the car would not be ready the day after (3rd day of leaving it with them). It took me about 2 minutes to go online to Advance Auto, look up the part, call a local store, order it online to be available for pickup within an hour, not to mention at a 1/3 (one-third) of the price they were quoting. The store close to them was unfortunately out of stock or otherwise, they would have delivered it within 15 minutes of me placing the order to Elite Auto but I had to pick up from another location and drop off to Elite Auto - all managed within 1 hour of their initial call. When I called back to tell him that I have the part and I'm going to drop off, they magically were able to get one and it was on it's way over but when I told him the price that I got it for, he said to use mine and cancel his delivery. After dropping of the part, it took them about an hour to install and get my car back to me. Overall, they made no effort to accommodate me and provide sufficient updates on where things stand with my repair - I felt like I was making all of the effort to get updates and in the end, find the parts & deliver to them. When I go to pick up, did they factor in their lack of customer service or the effort I put into them working on my car when giving me a bill for my service. I felt like I got ripped off as another shop quoted me half the price of Elite Auto for the same service but too bad I had already paid for towing to their location. At the end of all this, I asked him that I had a few other issues that I would like them to look AND GIVE THEM MORE BUSINESS and his answer was make an appointment. NO THANK YOU so that I can continue to follow up with you, leave my car for four days, not be treated like you want my business...i'll take my business elsewhere. I even asked him to look at a simple fuse for my cigarette lighter and he said make an appointment. Advance auto guy came outside to my car, look at the fuse, confirmed the one that I knew I had to change and told me that I had a spare in my fuse box and to just use that for now. I would understand if Elite Auto had to open up my engine to get to the fuse box but it was simply right on my dash below the steering wheel and took all of 3 seconds to confirm which Chris at Elite Auto could have done easily. All-in-all....don't bother with this place...they don't care about you and only care to work on high-end premium cars so they can charge you high-end premium price with HORRIBLE SERVICE and unfair pricing. Don't Waste Your Time or Money! I had purchased new tires that were installed at Costco. I was getting a steering wheel vibration, so I brought my vehicle here since they have the fancy Hunter GSP9700 Road Force Balancer. They balanced the front wheels for $30. Still had the problem. Had to come back a few weeks later. They claimed the front wheels were still balancing to zero, so they balanced the rear wheels for another $30. Still had the problem. Ended up going to another shop that knows how to use the GSP9700. The balance on one wheel was off by 0.25 oz. After that, problem solved!! I wish I could get my $60 back from Elite Importz!! read more
