Healey Kia - My beautiful new purchase from Healey Kia! Thanks again Pete!!

I LOVE my new 2024 Seltos! This is my first Kia purchase and I couldn't be more pleased with my…read moredecision. I have driven Subaru's since 1999 and have never had a problem. I felt it was time for a change. I began my search at Healey Brothers Kia in Newburgh, NY. After doing much research on Kia in general and on the Seltos, I knew I was making the right decision after test driving vehicles at other dealerships. The Seltos has been great with it's all wheel drive in bad weather; it handles the road much like a Subaru in all weather conditions. I enjoy the ride and the countless safety sensors, which some may find annoying, but I love them! Alia, was WONDERFUL! She gave me the confidence I needed to make the switch. She is very personal, professional and she knows the brand. I have been in sales for over 30yrs. When you are the buyer you appreciate good salesmanship even more. Alia treated me not as one salesperson to another, but as she herself would expect to be treated; that goes a long way in sales. I will gladly request her in the future. The finance department and management were also very helpful and considerate in meeting the financial budget I had to work with. Colleen F.

Went to check in said my maintenance contract was expired. Wanted to purchase another blue card. Was told my car doesn't take that kind of oil and I would have to upgrade. That's interesting I always purchased the same plan, was told they must have been putting the wrong oil in my car... for 3 years? Oil Change price 179.00. I walked out. Customer service =zero. Bye

In October, I purchased four brand new tires, along with new brakes, for my vehicle…read more I scheduled a service appointment with Thruway Nissan for December, specifically to address a check engine light. On the morning of my appointment, my tire pressure warning light also illuminated, and I requested that the tires be checked as an additional concern. During the visit, I was informed that I needed two new tires because one was allegedly bald. This assertion made no sense, as the tires had been purchased less than two months earlier. After I questioned this finding with the service manager, he later contacted me and claimed that my new tires were actually on my sister's vehicle, stating that he personally had driven to her home and seen the tires on her car. This accusation strongly implied that my sister and I had switched tires, which is completely false, offensive, and unprofessional. My sister then spoke directly with him and provided proof that she purchased her own four brand new tires in May from a tire company. The service manager had his cashier call while my sister was on the phone to confirm the purchase to Nissan's Service Department. The tire company confirmed, conclusively disproving the accusation. Immediately following this call, my sister contacted Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs, and a case was opened. Despite Nissan Corporate being placed on notice, no corrective action was taken, no meaningful follow-up occurred, and the dealership's conduct was allowed to continue unaddressed. My vehicle was returned to me 1 1/2 weeks later. The dealership represented that four new tires had been installed on my vehicle prior to its return. However, just two weeks after picking up my car, my tire pressure warning light illuminated again. Given the prior false accusations, contradictory statements, lack of transparency, and the significant cost of the work involved, this has caused me to seriously question whether the work they claim to have performed was done correctly--or at all. Because I also purchased new brakes, and a bunch of other services they stated I needed, and the total cost of work and parts purchased during the 2 visits was almost $5,000, I am now deeply concerned about whether these critical safety and performance components were properly installed, inspected, or even installed at all. This entire situation has caused significant emotional distress. I have not been sleeping well, as I rely on this vehicle for work and to transport my elderly mother. The possibility that essential safety components may not have been properly installed or accurately represented, especially after spending almost $5,000, is extremely troubling.

My name is Douglas Washington and I have been very disappointed with the service and accountability…read moreof Healey Cadillac Newburgh. I know what bad service looks like because I drive past a couple dealerships to come to you guys. I even make peace with the drive because I believe that the closest dealership isn't always the best. I have been to your location numerous times and I also purchased a service plan to show my commitment to come to this facility. I will speak on my most recent experience and how it has failed. Not long ago I came to you guys for an oil change which was part of the service plan (that I bought from you guys) and found out from a crappy dealership which was next to my house that you guys didn't even top off my fluids. When I called back I was told that you guys only do that when a person is aware and or asks because of the cost of the coolant. That's unsatisfactory. What person would knowingly neglect their cars cooling system to save money? And why would you send them out with a car that has potential to overheat and cause more problems? So I came to the dealership near me they topped off my fluids then I came back to you guys because I have the service plan and I'm supposed to get a discount, again going past a couple dealerships to get to you to fix a problem of my car overheating as an example. Even with AI/Chat GPT, troubleshooting can be done on the vehicle and tell you that it was more than just a coolant flush, that's what you guys told me it was and sent me on my way. Not even a month later now my entire cooling system has been stressed and failed and I have a $3,500 bill because you guys did not pay attention and exercise any type of troubleshooting standard. Instead of trying to understand the problem you guys thought, oh, let's throw a fix at the problem. So within the last month two visits I have spent $4,100 and you guys did not give me a ride home from dropping off my vehicle, you guys have not offered to pick me up to pick up my vehicle. I have worked in maintenance management here's what I can tell you, we have a Fix-It once within 30 days policy. If someone comes back within that 30 days we look as it to be our problem we don't point fingers, or place blame, we don't look for the additional revenue of a return customer. This also shows a lack of scheduling because the more vehicles that come to you, the busier you guys are and the longer it takes for you to get vehicles fixed. If you can fix it right the first time, then then you prevent return visits adding to a workload. You have to stop the repeat visits, you have to have the courage to look the customer in the eye and talk to them about the visits, especially when we are talking the same cooling system in my case which as I told you guys the very first time with the numerous problems that I had should be addressed. You guys chose not to offer any kind of discount when your troubleshooting has failed and you guys think that all customers have their understanding of customer service, maintenance management and will keep showing up to spend money and waste their time, and couldn't offer me help in transportation, even to pick up my vehicle with your shuttle ride. If a guy spends 4,000 at your dealership and you can't even give him a ride on your shuttle to the dealership, then I don't even know how much else I need to explain in this review. You have no management plan about offering loaner cars, I would advise anyone that would listen to me to avoid your dealership. This is not a Cadillac dealership this is a Yugo dealership. I see nothing but crappy service and this has been multiple visits now.
