Called about a truck the has listed online and made an appointment to see it. When I arrived I was told the vehicle was being serviced and it would be back on half an hour. Checked back in 45 minutes later and still no vehicle, I was told it's on the way and hes 10 minutes out. Checked back in still no vehicle, go the run around from Chad for two hours and finally left. Next day my son called to view the truck and they assured him it was there. When he arrived they tried to push another vehicle on him and after an hour run around they told him the truck the had listed sold back in March. Wasted 2 hour round trip to see a vehicle the listed that they didn't even own anymore. Chad needs to be honest and upfront. This place is why care salesman get called "dirty care salesman". Don't know where to start! First off this was the most pleasurable car buying experience with no pressure or gimmicks. Straight up. No surprises. Had the VIP treatment all the way to include delivery of my sons car. Got back from picking him up from college when he saw his car sitting int the driveway. My child has gotten the run around for 3 weeks now.First it was bring the car back for repairs and then it turned into sorry the the mechanic can't fix it now bring it back next week again.Now its you gotta wait more time.She is paying for cabs to her child daycare then to and back home from work.I think it's so not fare or right that she is paying more in cabs from 3 weeks now monday thru friday from home to daycare to work and back from them places to home every day for the past 3 weeks more money on cabs that she is making plus on weekends when she gotta work.It's so wrong on so many levels especially with a warranty esplevelslevels that's suppose to be for 2 years.Only had the car since March.The car has engine smells and shakes mind you she told them about it when she looked at the car and was told when she came with the money to get it that it would be fixed when she take it and that was a total lie the car was never fixedfixed.She has a 4 year old who can not be in the car with those smells.She was told what was wrong with it but they still haven't attempted to fix it yet.It's so wrong how the dealerships just get away with the stuff that go on shame on them and god will always have his day with shit like this.Now she is being forced to have to get the car fixed on her own after giving the run around for something that Mag Auto should be fixing shit is so sad yo people don't give a crap on how they do people smh read more

I bought a car here back in April 2023. About a few days or so later the breaks felt and sounded like absolute shit, the exhaust sounded like a semi truck, and the AC did not work. After bringing my car back to MAG as well as their warranty shop (NY auto repair on Montgomery street) I was told nothing was wrong with the breaks, the AC was fixed, and that I must have hit something for the exhaust to sound like that. The breaks continued to grind so I brought it back again and again with the same results. They even had my car for a week.. still picked up the same broken car. Eventually when I brought it back for the 4th time (I wanna say around June/July) they said someone from the warranty company had to come look at it and see why my car was having so many issues. Sounded great. Sounded like I was finally gonna get the car I paid for. Wrong. I eventually called it a loss and started bringing it to a completely different shop to get the thousands of dollars worth of work this car needed. Before you think this is a bad review about the auto shop and why am I writing it against MAG.. MAG is who sold me this car. Although the auto shop should be introuble for what feels like fraud.. MAG is who sold me a messed up car. All I wanted was a reliable car.. if I wanted to deal with this bs I would have saved myself a whole lotta money and bought one on FB marketplace. Be very wary of buying a vehicle from these guys. They are very good at making a vehicle look nice on the outside. I paid over ten grand for my car. I've had it for a little over a year and I've already put at least 10 grand back into it. I've had to pretty much rebuild the whole thing. Everything that could go wrong with the car went wrong. Three months after purchase, I had to replace the starter. From there the alternator, then the fuel pump, then the throttle body, the brakes, the tires, the power steering pump, oil pan, transmission lines, new air intake manifold and the heater core. When I first started having issues I tried calling. Of course no one answered and no one returned my call. And on the test drive, I had to put gas in the tank or I would not have made it back to the dealership. It's been a big headache. I wish I would have known better. read more

Needed a newer car, found Mag Auto, and checked the reviews which were positive and apparently true. They had a 2016 Forester that I was interested in which was in great shape. The whole experience was wonderful, great staff, no pressure, truthful, helpful, and went above and beyond to satisfy you. Buying a used car can be overwhelming but I felt comfortable and not being taken advantage of. A couple of things needed repair which were done at no extra charge. Mag Auto Corp. did not take proper care when I purchased my vehicle. While test driving, there was a definite front tire noise. Asked Mag to look at the issue before my purchase, and they claimed a mechanic had determined it to be the sound of new brakes. Bought the vehicle and was impressed by the reassurance given by "Poppy" and his associates. That day, an alert to service the tire mobility kit came on and they sent me to Northeast ford, which took care of the problem under warranty. However, after 2 weeks of hearing the original front end sound, I took the car back to Northeast Ford, as instructed by Mag. They determined I needed wheel bearings/hubs and a repair appointment was made. Before that appointment, I had many alerts appear on my dash, including ABS, Traction control, Passenger airbag, and a brake issue notification. Brought the vehicle BACK to Northeast ford, who took care of my several issues over a span of 12 days. Received a large bill, and expected mag to take care of it, as they had discussed. The manager did help to lessen the bill, but still totaled near 800$. At this point, I had the car for around a month, and it had spent nearly half that time getting repaired, and had a large bill to pay, which Mag had specifically discussed taking care of. I once again called and discussed it with the manager, who became very rude. Also, when I went to the bank which Mag had done my loan through to make my first payment, they let me know that the paperwork was never submitted, and that my loan may not be available after the following 3 days. Once again called mag, and they agreed to finalize the loan quickly. Mag did handle the paperwork in time, at the last minute, and with a large delay. Also, I did not receive my registration in the time frame they had discussed with me. I again called mag, to be told that the person who does registrations was on vacation for a month, and that it was still not submitted, over a month after I made the purchase. I would not suggest mag auto group, but if they have a vehicle you are set on, make sure to check on their responsibilities, as they handled mine very poorly. However, "Mercedes" and "Aaron" at Mag Auto corp. were extremely helpful and understanding. read more
