Will never buy another car from this GMC location or get service from them. Disgusting how they treat their loyal customers. We purchased 3 GMC cars from them over the years. Had an issue with a Colandrea coupon that had no expiration date. Obviously a marketing error - they refused to honor. The issue was escalated, and upper management agreed it was an error on their end and who honor the coupon. However, the Service Department is unprofessional and confrontational. When scheduled for service, we were reminded each time by the front desk staff, they will not be accepting the coupon. It became an actual argument with low-level staff. Each time the car was taken, the service took over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. It was intentionally held and each time. They have no respect for Military and Police members! But they will harass you for a good review! read more

2 1/2 years after buying a GMC Sierra 1500 from Colandrea, I couldn't be happier with their sales team, their maintenance department, and the truck itself. For the first 2 years, I had free oil changes and tire rotations. In addition, there were approximately 3 or 4 recalls on the vehicle. Each time I've needed to go there, I pre-scheduled my appointments online. I always received a phone call the following day to confirm my appointment. When arriving for each appointment, they promptly took the vehicle in and repaired it while I waited. This dealership's repair shop is not like the typical shops where you spend all day waiting and then get scammed into fixing something that isn't broke. There is absolutely no pressure here. Every repair they made was free of cost, with not a single recommendation for a service that I didn't need. They even wash every vehicle once they're done working on it. Last month, I had a trailer brake system warning light come on and brought it in for repair. I don't use the brake system when I tow and I couldn't imagine why it came on. Regardless, I expected a hefty bill. I had no idea this was covered under the warranty and wouldn't cost me a dime. The only annoying part about this dealership are the "nag calls" to constantly remind you to complete their surveys and give them 5 stars. They do deserve 5 stars, but they've called me multiple times nagging me to complete the survey after I already completed it. I've had bad luck with other dealerships and mechanics... so bad that I began learning how to repair my vehicles to avoid bringing it to them. I bought my car here in January and last week I had called to make an appointment to get an oil change. While on the phone the lady I spoke to said my oil change and tire rotation would be complimentary because it was my first one. I am here today and again the service advisor wrote my car up under the complimentary oil change and tire rotation. My car goes inside and they start working on it and the service advisor comes out and says they made a mistake and my oil change would be 89.00 plus tax. Which is completely ridiculous and the complimentary service should be honored since it was there mistake. read more

Any review I submit for a car dealer I always like to clarify what area of the dealership I'm reviewing. My review is solely in regard to the service area. I stopped in to the service depot at 10am on a Saturday to hopefully get an inspection done on my 2018 GMC Terrain that I purchased in my old state before I moved to NY. Well being that I went without an appt o expected to either wait hours on end or be turned away for another day. I was pleasantly surprised that the lady working at the service desk said they could do my inspection and also offered to to the oil change that I know I needed but forgot I needed (lol). She was super polite, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My car was ready in an hour and they even went ahead & hung my new license plates for me. The car was washed for me and I loved the waiting area with coffee/tea/water & snacks. For a service area, everything was super clean and neat. Not a complaint to be made. Turned in my lease after 3.5 years not a dent, way under mileage get a bill almost two months later for 533.00 $ . Comment from the girl that answered my call was that it was in my contract , I can remember my salesman's name "Walter" but don't remember agreeing to giving you over 500 $ for no reason unless it wasn't told to me like it wasn't!! I had the misfortune of dealing with Carissa Splain. Dishonest, obnoxious and clueless. The most condescending, uneducated and unprofessional 'salesperson' we've encountered in years. We live in PA, but had a major transmission issue on our 2014 GMC Sierra on our way to visit our son at West Point, June 2019. Had to go back myself to get the money back and was treated like I was acting unreasonable the whole time. Made me wait almost two hours for the only person who works there who can give me my money back all the time still trying to schmooze my wife into looking at more cars. Great Place.... I had been looking for a clean, pre owned Cadillac for a few months and by chance I happened to see one on their lot while driving by on the way to my store. Not being from around there or knowing if some of the people that I knew years ago were still up there and being careful not to waste my time, I made a couple of calls to some of the locals I trust, who all told me they were good guys. So I made some time, called the dealership and spoke to Walter in sales. Walter was more than happy to give me all the details that I wanted on the car and even offered to bring the car to my store for me to look at first hand. I agreed. Walter came down to my store that afternoon with the car and I looked it over from head to toe. It was everything it was billed out to be, so Walter and I sat down and had an espresso at my table. We discussed What they were asking for the car, the details and of course where I wanted to be on it. He was very understanding and said he would see what he could do. I felt more than confident that he would work hard to make this sale work for me. After several back and forth conversations and a little give and take on both ends we were close but not exactly where I wanted to be so Walter went above and beyond to try and make the deal happen by offering me concessions and i'm pretty sure threw in some of his family members, lol. STAY AWAY - Horrible Experience! The above rating is due to a HORRIBLE experience we had with this dealership. They were unprofessional. We were going to buy a car but decided the deal was not for us after they lied to us about the terms. When we asked for our deposit back they asked for our credit card number, we explained we had left a check for the deposit and the check has already cleared. They told us we would have to wait 10 business days or provide a copy of the cleared check. After waiting 15 business days and providing a copy of the cleared check they still weren't giving our deposit back. When my wife calIed to ask what the problem was, she was VERBALLY abused by the owner on the phone. I went into the dealership and they called me an a-hole and called the police, police said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to take it up in the courts. Before we handed over the deposit we asked if it would be given back if the deal didn't go through. Three different occasions two different people, the answer to that question was YES. We nally got the $$ back, but it took going through GM corporate - GM corporate called the dealership and explained it would be in Colandrea's best interest to return the $$. My advice is to buy a GM car, but don't buy it from this dealership. Be careful, the same people that own Colandra GMC own Sunshine Ford - I have read some very bad reviews about that dealership also. read more

Did my appointment online, was taken in right away, did not have to wait long. The problem that I am having with my truck can;t seem to be fixed! It has been in at least 3 or 4 times for a problem but the problem has not been diagnosed! The truck will not start sometimes and even a new battery has not solved the problem. They have kept my truck over night and all day to find the problem but they have not been able to solve this issue. Also the tire warning light has been on since I bought the truck and will not go off! The service light is still on as I thought it would have been removed during service today. We will see what happens next, hopefully the truck will start all the time and not leave me stranded. read more

on march 9 2019 i took my 1995 pont firebird to colandrea due to it would not start appox 5 days latter i get a phone call from them saying they put a new starter in my car however thats not the promblem they said my engine was seized there was nothing wrong with my stater why would you put a new starter on a engine thats seized in the first place #2 my starter colandrea took out of my car had a lifetime warranty when i went to pick my car up i was hit with a $700.00 bill for a starter i never told them to put a starter in my car or gave them approval i have 3 cars on the road i deal with alot of dealership in this area if they put a $1.00 fuse in my car they call me first you just do not put parts in the customers car and bill them for it without them knowing very dirty but anyways i told them i am not paying $700.00 for a starter when it had a lifetime warranty and nothing was wrong with mine the engine was seized i told them take the new starter out and put mine back in they said they can not do that i feel i was done dirty and scammed by colandrea tom montague read more
