I would like to say that I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this dealership…read more I found Ed and Jay to be professional and straight forward. I purchased a great used Subaru Legacy at a great price. We went over some issues, they resolved them the next day, and I drove it off the lot. I would also like to add, they have a wide variety of cars and trucks. And from my time being there, two people drove off the lot with cars that they purchased. I will recommend this dealership to whomever may ask me if I know of a used car dealer.

I came across this new business while searching online for certain used vehicles during the summer…read moreof 2018. This used car dealership is only operated by two guys as the business continues to grow. After test-driving a vehicle, I waited to think about it and do some final research. There were absolutely no pressure tactics and none of the typical car salesman games that us customers are all used to. This alone persuaded me to buy a vehicle here. When buying the vehicle, Billy would not negotiate down on the price at all. Around 99% of the time, I walk when used car salesmen won't negotiate. However, he gave me a fair value on my trade-in (probably more than it was worth). Also, I had researched this car and it was (by far) the cheapest around. He was asking $10k for a car that usually sells for $12k. One thing i didn't like is months later, I realized the vehicle model is not what Prestige advertised! They advertised the vehicle as a Nissan Sentra SR, which is the high-end Sentra. Recently, after researching the car, I realized this is a Nissan Sentra S, which is the low-end Sentra. The price I agreed to was for the high-end Sentra. If I knew that, the value would've been much less and I wouldn't have bought this. However, I've had the car for 3 months now and it's still a great car with no problems. Billy was thorough and followed through on everything he promised. The vehicle I bought had an open recall and also had a lot of road dirt stuck on the front-end. Before receiving the vehicle, Billy followed through with his promise by sending the vehicle to the dealership to repair the recall and sending the vehicle to a car detail shop for a full interior/exterior detail. One month after driving the vehicle, Billy called me to come in for my registration. He followed through and was efficient with everything we did.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had buying a used car. Besides the owner being…read morecondescending, arrogant and treating customers like absolute garbage, he also seems to have an anger management problem. In addition, the car he sold me was complete garbage and it several problems were covered up (by someone??). During my first trip here, I test drove a car that was mediocre. Dave, the owner, was very nice to me. The price was way too high for the old age and high mileage of the car. I attempted to negotiate. His anger issues quickly showed and he began carrying on like a lunatic. He then advised me that he does not negotiate at all. He continued to lecture me and repeatedly insisted that I'll never find another car priced lower than his. Not true since I found dozens of cars online much cheaper with lower mileage within a 50 mile radius. However, I was not willing to drive that far -- this was only for a beater car, not my primary vehicle. So I walked. Several weeks later, I returned to test drive a newly listed car. Dave was a stereotypical used car salesman and pitched a great line of garbage. He boasted how great he is because he offers a 30 day warranty (which he's required to do by law) and assured me how wonderful he is with fulfilling warranty repairs. I bought the car. That night, I went to drive the car for the first time and I found numerous lights were out. They had just performed a NYS inspection that same day...allegedly. The next day, I went in and they replaced all of the bulbs that had blown. I wondered if they really inspected the vehicle. One missing headlight could be overlooked. Not numerous lights out throughout the vehicle. On a hunch, I plugged in my computer and some data was missing. Someone had apparently erased the data, possibly to reset a "check engine" light. I knew trouble was coming. Several days later after I had been driving the car, the "check engine" light was on. Dave scheduled an appointment and got me in a week later. He repaired the problem under the warranty, as he was legally obligated to do. However, he continued boasting what a great service he did. Lights on my dashboard were also out. When I mentioned that to him, he began going off like a raving lunatic. He hinted to a threat by saying, "I haven't registered your vehicle yet!" (Four weeks later, the registration finally came). Dave told me point blank he would NOT start repairing all of these problems. So much for all of his blabber about how great he is with fulfilling warranty repairs. Since then, I've had NUMEROUS problems with the vehicle. By rights, I should've insisted that he fixed everything or went on to sue him. It wasn't worth the hassle since I know a lot more than I let onto Dave, and I was able to fix everything myself. I still continue having non-stop problems with this vehicle - and it only has 45,000 miles on it. I often wonder if he buys used cars from the junk yard, waxes them, and sells them. STAY AWAY.

In October, I purchased four brand new tires, along with new brakes, for my vehicle…read more I scheduled a service appointment with Thruway Nissan for December, specifically to address a check engine light. On the morning of my appointment, my tire pressure warning light also illuminated, and I requested that the tires be checked as an additional concern. During the visit, I was informed that I needed two new tires because one was allegedly bald. This assertion made no sense, as the tires had been purchased less than two months earlier. After I questioned this finding with the service manager, he later contacted me and claimed that my new tires were actually on my sister's vehicle, stating that he personally had driven to her home and seen the tires on her car. This accusation strongly implied that my sister and I had switched tires, which is completely false, offensive, and unprofessional. My sister then spoke directly with him and provided proof that she purchased her own four brand new tires in May from a tire company. The service manager had his cashier call while my sister was on the phone to confirm the purchase to Nissan's Service Department. The tire company confirmed, conclusively disproving the accusation. Immediately following this call, my sister contacted Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs, and a case was opened. Despite Nissan Corporate being placed on notice, no corrective action was taken, no meaningful follow-up occurred, and the dealership's conduct was allowed to continue unaddressed. My vehicle was returned to me 1 1/2 weeks later. The dealership represented that four new tires had been installed on my vehicle prior to its return. However, just two weeks after picking up my car, my tire pressure warning light illuminated again. Given the prior false accusations, contradictory statements, lack of transparency, and the significant cost of the work involved, this has caused me to seriously question whether the work they claim to have performed was done correctly--or at all. Because I also purchased new brakes, and a bunch of other services they stated I needed, and the total cost of work and parts purchased during the 2 visits was almost $5,000, I am now deeply concerned about whether these critical safety and performance components were properly installed, inspected, or even installed at all. This entire situation has caused significant emotional distress. I have not been sleeping well, as I rely on this vehicle for work and to transport my elderly mother. The possibility that essential safety components may not have been properly installed or accurately represented, especially after spending almost $5,000, is extremely troubling.

I can't speak of their sales department, as I've never dealt with them, but their service…read moredepartment is seriously lacking in customer service and basic professionalism. A company vehicle was brought in for a Toyota recall, and while there, we requested an oil change as well. Before any non-recall work was authorized, it was explicitly explained that they needed to call our fleet department to verify coverage for the oil change. This is standard procedure and has been handled smoothly at other Toyota locations. Assistant Service Manager Michael Ford acknowledged this and agreed to make the call. Fast forward to pickup day, and we were suddenly presented with a bill we should not have been responsible for. When asked whether he had called the number provided, Michael's tone and attitude were completely different from our first interaction. Instead of taking accountability, he replied, "We don't call. You brought your car to us, right?"--a response that directly contradicted the clear instructions given beforehand. The lack of integrity, accountability, and professionalism from Michael Ford is honestly baffling for someone in a management role. We even left a voicemail for the GM of Service, and unsurprisingly, have yet to receive a return call. Based on this experience, we will not be doing business with this dealership again.

Recently I had ordered a 25 Tundra platinum hybrid max with a 6.5ft bed. Nelson was my salesperson and he was fantastic. From the moment the truck got to the dealership he was in contact with me and worked around my work schedule to get in there and get the paperwork taken care of. They made all the paperwork and bank info an absolute breeze. When I got there the truck was detailed in the bay ready to go and within 40 minutes all the paperwork was done. Nelson personally took me out to the truck and went through every button and option in the truck, helped set up the Toyota Connect, and made sure that I was totally satisfied and understood everything about the truck before I left the lot. The level of service from this dealer and Nelson is impeccable and I highly recommend them. Mario the GM at Newburgh Toyota shows the level of professionalism in running a dealership that I feel always puts the customer first and goes out of their way to help you. Also when I go there for service I highly recommend Steve Conrad. He is all I ever work with and likewise with everyone else his knowledge of cars and years of loyalty to Toyota show in how he treats and helps his customers. Every step of the way whether it be service, sales, or parts this is the only Toyota dealership that you should be going to.

I took the car to Auto Alignment World in Middletown N.Y. and they replaced the tire but noted that my frame was bent and chance's are the tires will continue to wear due to the frame damage. I took the car back and they had all the employees tell me how Auto alignment world was wrong and it had to be me putting 5,000 miles on the car or hitting a pot hole that damaged the alignment and not the frame. They had me go to Mavis Tire next door to them but called them first to let them know I was coming in. The Mavis technician told me the frame was fine but i kept noticing red on the machine he was using and not all green ( green means everything is at the manufacturers specifications) he swore jaguar had no specifications for the rear and re-aligned the car plus put four new tires on the vehicle. I just decided to take the car to jaguar in paramus n.j. because I was scared something could happen while my kids were in the car. Jaguar told me the frame is in fact bent and the suspension is completely shot! Robert Backcock used cars sells wrecked vehicles repaired poorly then sold at average prices.
