I bring my 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 here for regular maintenance and service bulletins and have always been impressed. The facility is awesome and staff incredibly friendly. But recently is where their mechanics really shined. I had been experiencing an annoying rattle from my car for months. After no more than 20 minutes the mechanic was able to pin point the rattle, which was a poorly designed heat shield/air deflector that was located in the driveshaft tunnel on the passenger side, right by the drive shaft. The mechanic was able to find it solely on discoloration on the driveshaft caused by this part. I was showed the culprit by my service advisor and the solution explained to me by the mechanic. Thanks to their mechanic and the wonderful service and attention I receive at this dealership I have been able to once again enjoy every drive in my Stinger. And with Healey Kia's help I plan to have many more happy miles behind the wheel of my Stinger! read more

I had my vehicle there recently They said that I needed a new air filter- there was a nest in mine. I declined because my husband can replace it. He just checked it and they just put the filter back in without even cleaning it. With the amount of money spent I think they should have done that. Otherwise, the staff there is good. read more

Recently bought a 2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid. Love the car. Not happy with my experience. Traded in a 2022 Nissan Kicks SR, loaded. 32,200 miles on it. Excellent condition. Ready to detail and put on lot for sale. Salesperson told me that it would be a hard sale because people in this area are looking for all wheel drive. Manager low balled me and they turned around and put it on the lot for $5,500 above what they gave me. I was screwed. During an oil change a leak was noticed and only the dealership could fix it. I took it back and Kia flagged the same issues that I had already had fixed elsewhere. I had bought a Sportage at Healey Kia in March. it was hit while stopped at a traffic light 3 months later, and I had it towed back there for repairs. I was assured it would take 7-10 days to fix. It took 2 full months before I finally got it back. I would call for updates, was told again and again my service representative would check and get back to me at a certain time, and would never get a call back. Once I got the branch manager, he apologized for the disgraceful communication, and told me from then on I would deal only with him, and be updated at least every two days. I never heard from him again, and when I tried to call him, he had other people return my calls. Eventually they said the car was done, I went to pick it up, and the replaced rear panel was not the same color white as the rest of the car. Everyone there pretended they didn't notice, but eventually they had to agree it was the wrong color. Back to the body shop, no info on when it would be done , and no communication. After 2 months I finally got it back. Experience was so bad I reached out to Healey Bros corporate office. I received an email saying someone would reach out to me shortly, and never was contacted. The worst part of all this was the constant lying about how they would contact me, and never following through. It was almost comical that this happened again with the main office. Here for a recall on my optima. I've always had good experience when I've come here. They take good care of me and my car. When they are done with your car, they wash it and vacuum which is nice and also take a video and show what was done on the car and talk to you about any issues that need to be addressed. When it comes to repairs, oil changes etc I go to my mechanic because as we all know getting repairs at dealerships can be quite pricey lol. It's also a plus because my nephew is a mechanic here and he is great! The whole team is great here and very helpful. Receptionist are awesome and friendly! Facility is beautiful clean and nice area to wait with refreshments. And for people who love to be on their phones, lap tops etc, they have charging area lol. I LOVE my new 2024 Seltos! This is my first Kia purchase and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. I have driven Subaru's since 1999 and have never had a problem. I felt it was time for a change. I began my search at Healey Brothers Kia in Newburgh, NY. After doing much research on Kia in general and on the Seltos, I knew I was making the right decision after test driving vehicles at other dealerships. The Seltos has been great with it's all wheel drive in bad weather; it handles the road much like a Subaru in all weather conditions. I enjoy the ride and the countless safety sensors, which some may find annoying, but I love them! Alia, was WONDERFUL! She gave me the confidence I needed to make the switch. She is very personal, professional and she knows the brand. I have been in sales for over 30yrs. When you are the buyer you appreciate good salesmanship even more. Been there two times, first time for the extended warranty engine replacement. They did replace it for free with no issues, very thankful for that. However they weren't communicative about the time, not even a rough estimate. They didn't have any loaner cars and I had to twist the service advisor's arm for him to tell me Kia does offer rental reimbursement. First of all ... My husband surprised me with a KIA Forte. When he told me to come out to the front of the house, my husband and KIA staff yelled SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! The staff was nice enough to drive my car from the dealer ship to my home to help with the surprise. They were very excited, personable and friendly, they took pictures with me and congratulated me on my car. A few day later we returned to get my car detailed, which they did an excellent job, once again the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed, they also welcomed my frenchie with open arms into the dealer ship. To Whom it may concern, My name is Chelsea and I purchased a car at Healey Brothers Kia in Newburgh NY in November 2023. Since then I have had nothing but issues with my 2021 Kia Seltos. My first 4 months of purchasing a Kia Seltos I had some minor inconveniences. The first week I had a nail in my tire which I understand is not under warranty, so I had it fixed myself. My first service was okay, my car was in and out with no problems. A few weeks later my windshield wipers were not working correctly so I figured I might as well replace these so everything is new in my car. A few weeks later I go in for a service and state that my car has been making some weird noises when coming to a stop and sometimes driving, was then told by the service department that my front brakes were at a 30% wear and my back brakes were at a 90% wear, which Is weird because I've only had the car for about 4-5 months. Obviously, I asked if it was under warranty because I had just purchased the car and there was no way I could go through brakes that quickly without there being another bigger problem, they reassured me it was just the front brakes, and nothing was wrong. So, I paid $735 to get the front brakes replaced and was not happy about it..The advisor told me there was a clunking noise which he told me was the tire rod that needed to be replaced. Luckily this was covered under warranty, but he couldn't fix it because the part wasn't in stock. A few weeks later I got that part replaced. A couple months later I am back in the service shop to report that my car has been non stop bucking when I put it in reverse and drive and when I am stopped at a light or stop sign my car stutters like it doesn't want to go, I also had issues with my display radio screen going black, and also had issues when my car would start it was making this weird loud ticking noise. So, I made yet another appointment. Later that day I was contacted that there were issues with my dual clutch assembly and that the parts were not in, and they would have to order it and that they did not want me to drive my car. This was covered under warranty Thank God. I was offered a rental vehicle but stated that they had none and I was going to be placed on a list for the next available one. After the phone call they sent me the multi-point vehicle inspection which had so many red flags and warnings about my vehicle and things that required immediate attention. I thought it was ridiculous. It got flagged for failing wheel alignment, drive and axle boot service, electronic fuel injection service, brake fluid exchange, BG cooling System flush, a transmission flush and a cabin air filter change. Finally, after 2 days they called me back and stated they had a rental become available. After I had left the dealer with a rental, I was rushing to get to work when halfway down the road the maintenance light came on stating it needed immediate attention. It was over the oil change miles by almost 2,500 miles. 25 mins later I made a turn into my job and heard a thud in the back and parked the car and opened the trunk and saw that were was an empty box of miller light and 2 half empty gallon water bottles and just thought I knew It was a quick turn for rentals and didn't think anything of it because I had to get into work. A few hours later I had an employee of mine tell me that my inspection had expired since June. I went out to look and fair enough it was expired so I called Kia and ended up leaving a message to let them know what is going on with this rental. I was left a message to stop by and they will place a new sticker and check the oil levels. Come Monday morning, I was late to work once again because I was now going back to kia first thing to get my rental car serviced. They did an oil change and put new stickers on for me. Sitting in the dealer I was uneasy at this whole thing and why am I sitting here getting a rental car serviced, that's not even mine and yet again late to work. I can't remember who I asked but I wanted to speak to a dealer manager and was told they were not in yet. A few days later my car was done and ready to be picked up. When I got there at 8AM I switched cars and got mine back and everything seemed fine as I drove to work. The bucking was no longer as severe as it was and when I started it the ticking sound was gone. Later in the day I was looking over the service report on everything that was done and fixed on my car and nowhere did it state that anything red flagged on the Multi-inspection report was fixed. Nor did anyone let me know that hey these are a few things that popped up on your inspection that would need to be taken care of as well. About 3 days later when I started my car my engine now shakes when starting and makes all sorts of weird noises, and it is very noticeable and there is a slight ticking noise when the vehicle starts again. This is not normal for any vehicle that has 45,000 miles on it. read more

Ok great right we'll NO A week ago developed a coolant leak no biggie Dropped off at Healey Kia I have a full warranty right Next day I receive a call from there service writer who immediately starts to try and sell me $6900 in service I stop him and ask what about coolant leak Oh he replies you have collision damage to the belly pan that is below the cracked radiator we can't warranty it so it's $1300 for a radiator WHAT I say there's no collision I have no idea what you're talking about He is of absolute no help My wife picks up car next day I immediately look at the car ABSOLUTELY no collision damage only damage is the belly cover is made out of a composite material witch has begun to detach due to the coolant leak I try to contact Scott K who is of absolutely no help I then order a radiator and begin to change it Now I start with my video of car on lift clearly showing no damage then completely disassembling the front of the car taking video and pictures I finally get to the radiator As to be expected absolutely no collision damage I did however find that both top and bottom of radiator blown out from radiator rotting I then attempted to connect the service manager not an easy thing to do After finally getting through he said sorry can't help you ABSOLUTELY worst customer service ever ABSOLUTELY worst warranty ever Out come I repaired it my self for $120 in parts And will be cashing in remainder of warranty Moral of the story stay away from Any Healey dealer and there warranty @@ read more

We had an excellent experience at Healy Kia in Newburgh thanks to Nick Tobar. We had been car hunting for a second vehicle for about one month already, and I can say that this was the best experience we had in the process. We were fortunate to have worked with Nick, and purchased a beautiful and affordable car within our budget. I used to work right down the road from Kia and I have no idea why it took us 4 weeks to finally check out Kia, but I'm glad we did. I work in sales and customer service for years, and because of the field I am in, I do have some knowledge of the auto industry and cars, and so I was appalled by some of the encounters we've had on our search for a new vehicle. We've encountered salesman that have tried to sell us vehicles with numerous issues and then downplay those issues, never received call backs that were promised to us, and at one place when the owner asked us what our budget was, he told us rudely that there was nothing for us there, to lower our price range, and to look elsewhere. What a way to kill someone's hope and what a stupid way to lose a sale. Little did he know, we actually had quite a bit of wiggle room to work with, but because of his attitude and demeanor, it cost him a sale. So we left with dignity and took our business elsewhere. And we found a better and newer car at Kia with the features that we were looking for, and more! At Kia, Nick and the rest of the staff were very professional, respectful, and accommodating. The first time we arrived, we wanted to see a specific vehicle that we saw online, but it had already been sold. Nick took down our contact information, asked us what we were looking for, and said he would follow up with us. And he actually did! I only won a $100 gift card. But I cant even use it wherever I want. I have to choose from their selected stores. Store websites I never heard of. And that's not all. You get four $25 gift cards. Another attempt to spend money. I spoke to 2 other families on my way out. Both thought they won the same prize I "won" which was the tv. Both disappointed. They had advertised one price on their website but when we arrived the sale price was confirmed up until we were ready to buy the car, then they realized the pricing on the website was an error. Talk about bait & switch! Only after standing firm and getting ready to walk away from the deal did we get the sale price as advertised on the website. Had we not been firm they would have convinced us to take a different vehicle that we didn't really want. But they claimed they couldn't meet my budget. Which was $400 for financing a car with some lease payments left over and zero down. Since they couldn't make it I was going to leave. James Barrett the general manager comes over and it went quickly from a pleasant enough experience to frustrating. We talked in circles with me at some point asking him if he was trying to confuse me. During that conversation he said if you figure out what you want and give me a number (which I had done) I can go to the banks, I am bringing up that comment to point out that at this point not been a hard hit. I got so frustrated that I pointed out I was looking to feel good about my purchase like I had previously with my Hondas. He asked me why didn't I go to Honda then. I had not gone to Honda because I thought it would be too expensive, but then thanks to his comment I thought about it and decided I should check it out. I went to Honda where I bought a car worth $3,000 more than the car they were offering me for the amount that I wanted monthly. But during my time there I learned that they had run a hard hit on my credit. At no point had I seen someone in fiancé or had agreed to purchase a car or indicated I was doing anything but shopping around. I am a previous Kia owner, from another dealership, my lease was up and I knew I wanted the same model, the Kia Sportage. I looked at Healey Kia's website and found the perfect vehicle. I selected the vehicle I wanted, customized my payment filled in the next screen, submitted the form and they contacted me right away. I spoke to a vehicle specialist to go over what I wanted in my vehicle and to make sure it was the one for me. I knew I wanted to lease again so they directed me to the finance tab on their website. I completed the online finance application and the finance manager contacted me to work out the numbers. After we worked out the details they sent me the pricing and I sent them my credentials and they did all the paperwork. When they were finished they scheduled a time to bring the vehicle to me. My new Sportage was brought to my workplace. It was just as beautiful as the photos on their website. I signed all the paperwork, got a quick tour of the vehicle and I was finished. The easiest vehicle I ever purchased!!!! After the delivery person left my vehicle specialist called me to set up a time to do a face time call for a more in-depth review of the vehicle. I have 2 major complaints, the first complaint is when I bought our first car from them. After three weeks they told us we had to return the car. My lawyer took care of this issue quickly, you shouldn't have to hire a lawyer to buy a car. Second complaint, I wanted to trade in our first car and buy a stinger from them. Because they (try to over charge) I was force to buy the stinger from a Volkswagen dealer in north jersey. I still bring the car there to service.
