Despite promising it would be done in "one, maybe two days tops," he missed the deadline completely without proactively updating me. He later told me he delayed my job to take a higher-paying walk-in. Ultimately it took him six days past our agreed upon deadline to finish the work. During that time, none of the completion timelines he gave proved accurate, leaving me unable to plan, without a vehicle, and uncertain if or when I'd get my truck back. As a result, the experience was extremely stressful, my family lost five days of vacation, had to cancel multiple appointments more than once, and was out over $200 in non-refundable reservations. To add insult to injury, when he finally presented the bill, the price was inflated -- followed by a long speech about how much he cares about his customers. Unprofessional and unreliable.
