Diego was nice enough to help us get checked in and he told us that it would take around 45 minutes. We left the store and returned around 40 minutes later to see how everything was going. We returned to the parking lot to find my car parked differently than how I left it so we walked inside excited to see my car completed. WRONG!!! After It took us another 5 minutes to find someone to help us they told me that they were unable to put the tires on my car, they said they couldn't chance taking the lug nuts off my car and damaging the vehicle. Mind you I hadn't received a text or a call explaining the issue prior to me returning to the store. To top it all off the employee put the tires in my truck and basically told me that it was my problem now because I paid online. The employees were so pre-occupied that they couldn't even give suggestions or sincere apologies. I will absolutely never EVER go back to get any work done. Shame on me for thinking Walmart could ever exceed my exceptions.

They tried to charge me $632.00 for some kind of seal for a catalytic converter. I told them I could afford that right before the holidays and took my car someplace else. The next mechanic said it was my exhaust and that if it had been anything as serious as they claimed it was my check engine light would have come on. When He calls to say my car is done I ask Whis going to pay me for the $100 dealer diagnostic fee and his response was " who's going to pay me the six hours labor it took to fix the car, I said who ever did the belt wrong in the first place! What kind of business is that? Called and called for a copy of my paperwork stating they repaired it and all carmine can say is Ricks on vacation! Must be nice. Hope he didn't void my lifetime warranty! Time will tell next time i go to dealer. One other time I supplied calipers n picked up truck, pedal went to flooor. Looked all brake fluid on ground, called rick he said I'll pick it up. Went to get truck he charged me towing (his tow truck) and told me a part of the calipers was defective. My first visit ever here was only because I was in a pinch and far away from home. I didn't have a choice, and I was bright and early the first customer to get tires. Worked out great! Today, I returned for a wheel alignment since it had a little discount included. I asked for them to check the tires, since one wheel kept losing air. I was charged for TPMS. They told me nothing was wrong. The moment I left the lot, my car finally tells me theres an issue with one of the tpms, BUT Midas tells me everything is working perfectly fine. TERRIBLE! Before this, I waited 4+ hours for a wheel alignment!! They didnt start working on my car until I stood up and peeked to see if my car is being serviced. I stayed on the lift for 3 hours! FOR A WHEEL ALIGNMENT! And was charged for TPMS service that Im sure they didn't even check! Not to mention, I don't think they know how to use the alignment machine for my vehicle. Alot of backing up and readjusting the car on the lift for the sensors! Sitting there for 4 hours, I realized I've made a mistake. Overhearing customers complain about the same thing, over priced, not ACTUALLY trouble shooting, and wait times. Absolutely no consideration to updating customers waiting for their car, and a lot of "looking busy". Only 2 guys were ACTUALLY working, out of the 6 I seen this day. Long wait time for a place with 6 bays and not enough working. I do not recommend, very smooth quick talkers here! Nothing #1 about this establishment! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!

Stay FAR away from this garage. A mechanic at this garage clearly has anger issues and verbally…read morethreatened me. I had never used this garage before this incident. They happened to appear on Google as open on a Saturday, and the garage I normally use is closed on Saturdays. I just dropped my car off for an inspection (literally--hours before writing this review). They said the car should be ready to pick up within the hour. I didn't anticipate any issues with inspection, but you never know if there's something wrong that would cause it to fail. That being said, I'm fairly knowledgeable with basic car maintenance and can tell when I'm being scammed. I received a call less than an hour later, with the mechanic (whose name I didn't catch, he appeared to be the only mechanic working at the time, latino guy in his 30's) saying that there were a number of issues with the car, ranging from suspension, to power steering, to who knows what else, and that they weren't "even going to try to do an inspection until we get that car on a lift." This set off a bunch of red flags. I'm not a mechanic, but fairly certain none of these things were true. I said on the phone, "no thanks, I'll just come and pick up the car." I swing by about 30 minutes later to pick up the car. When picking up the keys, the mechanic gave me the riot act. "The car needs this, and this, and your pump is going, and your belt is going to snap..." etc. Since, ostensibly, he "didn't get the car on a lift," I'm not sure how he was able to diagnose all of these problems. I said, "OK, thanks," took the keys, and left the office. The mechanic proceeded to also leave the office and follow me out to the car. He said, "I think you're f**king disrespecting me, walking out of the office like that." I said, "no, sorry, I said thanks." He said, "You know, I could've f**king scraped that inspection sticker off of your car, don't walk away from me when I'm talking to you." I said, "I'm going to put this on Google and other review sites, you're being threatening." I then got in my car, and he proceeded to open the back door of the car and yell, "you're f**king disrespecting me, I'm going to kick your a**." I said, "please close the door or I'm going to call the cops." He closed the door and I drove away. I don't think I'm going to file a police report because I'm not sure what good that is going to do here, but I IMPLORE you to avoid this garage AT ALL COSTS. I sincerely believe that this mechanic may end up hurting someone.

Their prices are much higher than most other retailers and when I brought this to their attention, just as I would hope my customers would let me know when my prices are off base, they told me that they would work with me when their prices were higher than other suppliers. Well, after I did bring this to their attention a few times, I had a manager get on the phone and tell me that I'm a "pain in the ass"! I could have, and should have, just called my other suppliers but API *asked* me to give them a chance to make the sale to me by bringing price discrepancies to their attention which was all I was doing. I was always polite to them. They also often got my orders wrong and we got more failed parts (parts that did not work, right out of the box) from API than from any other supplier that we have worked with over the past decade. Fellow shop owners, avoid API, and for the DIY'er please look elsewhere, you can get higher quality parts, for better prices from just about any other auto parts retailer in the area. I have only worked with the Middletown, NY store but the managers here do not know how to run a business!

As an added attention to lack of detail, the windows you can look through to see the cars being washed were coded with an obscene level of grime on the inside. As a result, you couldn't see clearly the cars that were being washed. If it's that filthy in the room that they're washing the cars, how clean are the cars getting?
