Capuanos has great food. Their sandwiches and wraps are delicious and very filling. They have a large variety or gourmet pizzas as well including chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, chicken bacon ranch, and a ton of others. Its a great place for grabbing take out or if you were looking for a nicer place in Flemington to eat. It's BYOB which isn't a problem considering Little Brother Liquor store is right next to is and they carry every alcohol imaginable. read more

Went for my birthday dinner last night. We got the special sweet and sour calamari and clans casino for app. Calamari was fantastic, breading great and very tender. I didn't have the clans but was told they were good not great. I got the chicken sorrento and it was sooo good! Everyone else loved their entree as well. Cannoli tiramisu and derby pie was all very good. Byob helps with the bill also. Service was very good as well. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. read more

Truly great food and gracious service. Casual sit down dining and a pizzeria in the front. I had the ricotta-stuffed ravioli with a pink sauce and mushrooms and it was tongue-melting yummy. The warm bread with olive oil/herb dip was also a generous start. Would definitely recommend. read more

Good food. Had the lobster ravioli and shrimp with cognac cream sauce and it was really good. Pizza is ok if u like a somewhat thin crust. I'm from NYC so it's hard to find a pizza out there that even compares to NYC pizza. The price for the ravioli? $25 bucks, hence the three stars..way to expensive. read more

Solid enough spot. I didn't realize they had a casual pizza, eat-in area. There are 2 sections: they have a large dining room and a pizzeria area. I stopped over here the other day and they had a pretty large slice pie selection (cheesesteak, buffalo chicken, chicken parm, etc.). I wasn't in a pizza mood so I ordered one of their sandwiches. I had an Italian sub. It was served pretty quickly and I added hot peppers. Everything was pretty fresh but they did not throw a lot of hot peppers on it. It was pretty good. Definitely not the best sub I've ever had but nothing wrong, either. I'll definitely come back but I'm going to give their pizza a shot on my next visit. Their pepperoni pizza is great, especially when you ask for the pepperoni extra crispy. We've also ordered the eggplant parm dinner here and they give you a huge portion, was enough for 2 meals. Have had consistently good food each time we've ordered from them. read more

Kind of disappointed. This is the first time we have been there, but we had always seen it busy, so we figured they must be doing something right. First off, the service was wonderful, everyone was extremely friendly, but the food left something to be desired. We wanted to go and get a pizza to share at the table, maybe some appetizers but you can't do that on a Saturday, which we weren't aware. They said you can only carry out pizza on Saturdays. So we ordered from the menu and overall, the food didn't taste bad, but the pasta was overcooked and the sauces were salty. The bread was very good as was the olive oil dipping sauce. The special of the day for soup was new england clam chowder, which had no clams at all, just potatoes and vegetables...maybe the clams were minced, but we couldn't taste any chunks of clams like there should be. We will go again because we still want to try the pizza, but overall, a bit of a let down on the taste of the food. read more

I always wanted to try here so I ordered one slice of mushroom and one pepperoni and brought it home. I was disappointed. The slices were so paper thin and the bottoms were burnt. Also the taste was off i don't know if it was the sauce or the dough but something wasn't right. I see such good reviews about their pizza. Maybe I was there on an off night. This place is just AWESOME! We have been eating at the restaurant as well as getting take Capuano's since they 1st opened & there's nothing on their menu that's not fantastic! The service is always friendly and totally accommodating & the food is amazing! Ask for their special pizza, it's not on the menu but has chicken, spinach, roasted red peppers, it is the best I've ever had!! Love the Ravioli in a cream sauce too! This is a staple for us in the Clinton area. It's always consistent and the prices are good. The wait staff is efficient and it's never packed. I've had several different dishes and all of them have been good. The atmosphere inside is nice and generally quiet and it is kid friendly. We go here a couple of times a month and have nothing bad to say about it. The outdoor seating is new but we sat out there once and though it's right up against the. Parking lot it was fine. I can't believe I must voice this. I haven't gone to Capuano in 2 years and was craving their clams in the White wine garlic broth. I repeat BROTH! It came out and it was served in a pasty thick like Francese sauce with lemon juice so powering tasted like just a bunch of paste lemon rigns . Very disappointed. I also ordered the chicken Francese. Same sauce or gravy on it horrifyingly to the pallet strong strong lemon. I love lemons but not to where your lip pucker up. When I used to go a gentleman names Santos worked there and left years ago was good then. But now that he's gone and there are new chefs it breaks my heart to say I will not go back. When you have an item on your menu clams in a white wine broth you expect a broth that you can soak up your bread in, not a thick paste and very tart. I used to praise this place. I no other dishes maybe great! But after my experience not sure I'll be back for my favorite dish. read more

We dine often in Flemington NJ and there are only a few good places to have a good enjoyable diner. Last night we decide to try Copuano's. We had not been there is several years. We were surprised to see how busy it was and even more surprised that our dinner was very good. Each course exceeded our expectations and our server was on top of things. We love this place. My husband is a Chicken Parmesan nut - so he has tried Chicken Parm all over the state...that's how he measures a restaurant. And the red sauce. This place has the best chicken parm apart from Marco Polo in Summit. The Pasta Fagiole was excellent. Anything I've tried here has been great. We have not tried the pizza here... yet. read more

We have been going here for quite some time. Tonight we came in with a party of 5. We asked to have pizza menus and after the "hostess" and a waitress mumbled to each other, the hostess went to seat us with their dinner menus. I asked if the pizzas are listed in the dinner menus and she informed me (after an additional mumble to the waitress) that they don't serve pizza on Saturday nights. I've had their dinners. They're nothing to write home about. The wait staff has never been what i would call "friendly" in fact I often feel as if I'm bothering them by entering the establishment. We have repeatedly gone there because they pizza is rather good. If they're trying to be this upscale restaurant, you have to enter through the take home pizzeria!!!!! With the soccer games on the tv!!!!! I know Flemington is desperate for some decent restaurants but REALLY? Sad, really sad. I will NOT be returning and will spread the word through the neighborhood and schools. read more
